Hotellet levede op til vores forventninger. Eneste kritikpunkt er, at man skal betale for WI-FI (hvilket er gratis på stort set alle andre hoteller). I småtingsafdelingen kan nævnes, at vi havde problemer med at få airconditionsanlægget til at virke de fleste nætter, og at lyset på balkonen automatisk slukkes kl. 23.00. Dette hotel har bare service der er i top! Det ligger på Porto Maso, som er en lækker havn, med en trappe ned til den, hvor der ligger en masse restauranter, som er rigtig hyggelige og serverer rigtig god mad, sammenlignet med mange andre steder på øen. Baren på restauranten, som også serverer snacks, er også rigtig god. Vi fik en platte, som vi delte […] to mand. Det var mættende nok i den hede der var. De har flere pools, så der er både til børnefamilierne og de voksne, der gerne vil have lidt fred. Derudover er spaen rigtig lækker og der er et godt træningscenter. Unfortunately the servicelevel in this specific Hilton hotel doesn't live up to their general standard. The staff at the Beach Club restaurant are too young, couldn't care less about their customers, and are all the time looking stressed and with no overview.

OK, it's a 5* property, but they really do their job well. A burst pipe caused some issues hotel-wide and all was fixed in a few hours. Our room had a slow drain- same thing. Fixed by the time we got back from a tour bus trip. Highly recommended, and their Thai restaurant is superb.

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions as we make regular business trips to Malta. This has always been our preferred choice. However, this time we felt that the hotel is starting to look a bit tired. All the reviews on the Hilton Malta are correct-perfect location, efficient and friendly staff, great restaurants, outstanding cleanliness and gorgeous sea and harbor views. This is hardly a complaint but the pillows were like flat sandbags, we find this around Europe tho and since everything else was perfect it wasn't a huge bother.

I would have rated higher on the cleanliness of the room but when we checked in, it was obvious that the staff hadn't vacuumed the room (crumbs and mud all over the carpet). But one quick call to the front desk and a five minute wait later a supervisor came to verify our complaint. While we checked out the view of the sea from our balcony, the supervisor […] and another staff member set the room right. We came for our honeymoon and the staff and management couldn't have been nicer. The breakfast buffet is amazing! I only wish we hadn't done so much sightseeing so we could have enjoyed the outdoor pools and deck. We did use the indoor pool in the wellness center and it was fabulous! There are tons of hotel amenities and the concierge was very helpful! We used the free wi-fi near the business center if we needed to look up any travel information. We stayed at Malta Hilton recently around the New Year. Two rooms- one double and one twin and a seven night stay. We checked in after the midnight and this was the first hotel to offer us a welcome drink at the check in counter. We were upgraded to executive rooms on the third floor with a very good seaside view. In room facilities were really good, […] everything as expected. Sea views were stunning. Breakfast had extensive choice and even for vegetarians, there were enough hot and cold options. Staff was very polite and always willing to help. From 1 Jan, free wi fi was available at the business centre and we found this really useful, especially for on line check in. Gym and other fitness facilities are really good and you actually feel like using these. Location is very central and several eating options were available nearby including pizza hut (who delivered to the hotel) and McDonald's. Bus stop was nearby and routes 12 and 13 connected really well to Sliema and Valletta as well as Mediterraneo Bio park. The green route of the city sightseeing bus stops right at the hotel. Excellent hotel, real luxury and clean, well maintained with responsive staff. On par with best hotels in other places. Best gym facilities I have seen and executive lounge is great. Indoor swimming pool is excellent but water in outside pools is too cold. Be careful of other similar hotels as the location can be in the streets. Best tips: Food in […] hotel is expensive for regular family dining but there are many good restaurants just outside that are cheaper. Also there is a laundry in St Julians that's useful with a family (we have 3 kids). Pick a room with access to the executive lounge. If you eat Halal food there are a couple of basic restaurants in Silema. Also everything is in walking or short taxi ride distance so not worth hiring a car. Læs mere

The hotel lobby and pool area are good but rooms are not 5 star.I have been in 4 star hotels with better quality rooms, Will rate this hotel 3 star if it wasn't for the gorgeous balcony. Breakfast is way to expensive to what is been offer. staff are polite and location is great.

Main restaurant, the Oceana, not always open in the evening at this time of the year. This needs to be stated in the list of hotel facilities. Armchair and small table in the room were extremely heavy to move particularly when wanting comfort when watching TV.

Hotel was awesome, great facilities and fantastic breakfast. Overall service was good but varied a little with different staff. Stay let down by visit to Blue Elephant Restaurant. Chef unable to cater for a simple off menu request. Even the pleasant restaurant manager was embarrassed. Disappointing!

Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room given not as originally offered in advert, not a sea view more a mariana view, although quiet and sunny for afternoon sun. Breakfasts nice but not exceptional have had same quality in lesser rated hotels. Not enough pro-active local imformation of restaurants promoting themselves or of the local shopping centre […] usual though for Malta although they are getting there! This was our second visit to the hilton malta and it didn't fail to impress us again! It is definitely a class act in everyway and when we mentioned we had been before the staff were genuinely flattered by this and worked harder to impress us more! Our chambermaid gave us extra spa treats for our bathroom and the bar staff bent a few menu rules so we […] could have more options available than the designated snacks, then we could stay in the quaterdeck bar, which we loved!! We have just had a wonderful 10 day stay in this fab hotel. The whole experience was deluxe from beginning to end. Weather was perfect, restaurants around the resort and in Valetta 1st class, bedroom on 7th floor (710) perfect, we had a large sunny balcony all day overlooking the lovely marina unlike the seaview rooms which lost the lovely afternoon […] sun .Plenty of restaurants in the hotel if that's your thing .. Folks are racist in the hotel. Although i booked a King Bed, they simply put to twin beds together and told me that was a King Bed. When I asked, they told me that the Hotel was over booked. That whole experience succked!

Very nice hotel, breakfast was very good and the see view room was very large and had everything we required. The Thai food was very good and everything was a good price. Location was also great with lots of nice restaurants near by and town a short walk.

Just spent 7 glorious days at the Hilton Malta. Overall my experience was sheer unadulterated luxury from start to finish. Only grumble is that bar prices were a little OTT , but it is a 5* so should have expected it. Can recommend the Scotland bar if you want cheaper drinks. Stayed for 7 nights at the end of September and had a wonderful time. Hotel and its facilities were excellent, really liked the adult only relaxation pool area. Breakfast in the hotel's restaurant was great, plenty of choice and great variety. Super hotel in a great setting. Made to feel welcome from arrival. Hotel has something for everyone. Buffet breakfast is really lovely and there is a great selection of eating places throughout the day ( quite expensive though but what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel.) Would def.recommend this hotel and hope to make a return visit.

Lovely hotel, staff fantastic. Great location. Executive lounge upgrade definitely worth doing, tea/coffee/snacks from 4-6 pm, 6-8 pm snacks and drinks (wine, beer, spirits).

Fabulous hotel in a wonderful location. It has been 30 years since we visited Malta and needless to say there have been many changes! We were in the Portomaso area which is very plush with lots of really good restaurants. The tour bus is really good and the local bus service is excellent. The only slight niggle with the hotel is that they take 500 euros […] off your credit card then refund it 3 to 5 days after your stay! Nothing bad to say about this hotel other than when checking in and out of the hotel there was always a massive queue so you end up waiting longer than necessary. Other than that I loved staying there.

We enjoyed our stay and will return as it offered everything that we required for our week stay at the beginning of September 2012. Have no hesitation in recommending the Hilton Malta if you are after peace and relaxation in a lovely setting.

We have stayed in the Hilton in Malta on a previous occasion, before the extension was built, and we were worried that this may have made it too big. On the contrary, there is now an additional pool which is adult only, perfect if, like me, you love to swim and don't want lots of ball games and rubber toys! There were always lots of sunbeds around the […] pool, though it could get crowded at weekends. We had a sea view room on the tenth floor, which is one of the Executive floors. The room is spacious and the addition of an ironing board meant we always looked smart! The room is serviced well. The lounge is excellent with a good choice at breakfast and excellent canapes and drinks in the evening. There is a choice of 6 restaurants. We loved The Blue Elephant (the Thai restaurant), the Saturday night buffet at Oceana and the Beach Club, right by the edge of the sea. We booked this for the night of the full moon and to watch it rise out of the sea was so beautiful. The staff are excellent,warm, caring and friendly. I was unfortunate to be ill when I was there and they were so kind and caring. A special thanks to Kristin and John in the Executive Lounge and Rin in The Blue Elephant, who knew that what I needed was a bowl of chicken soup! We love Malta and the Hilton is perfection. There are some excellent restaurants in walking distance if you fancy a change from the hotel. Chapter One, Ir Rokna and Lulu are recommended. We will return as soon as possible. Læs mere

This was a 30th wedding anniversary celebration trip. The hotel was great - especially the staff. Every single one we encountered was friendly and helpful from the front desk to the breakfast staff to the pool and cleaning crews. The only complaint I had was that our room, although very clean, smelled extremely musty and was very damp - with the room […] closed up with the air conditioning on or opened up with air flow - we tried both. The dampness never went away. The comforter actually felt wet. But location was great, food was great, staff was great, the view was great and the pools were great - (although the indoor pool was drained when we were there). This was a very good 5 star hotel with friendly and professional staff throughout. The room we had (room 847) was spacious with wonderful views across the bay. There were all the amenities expected of a hotel of this rating and its location was ideal in that it did not suffer from traffic noise, yet was within a 5 minute walk of the bustle of Malta. […] We shall certainly return!
