Ibis Budapest Centrum - Budapest

Ibis Budapest Centrum is a great hotel, close to centre of town. Metro station is just around the corner, along with shopping streets and more. Would definitely stay there at my next visit.

Vi havde en rigtig dejlig oplevelse med dette hotel, venlig betjening, god service, dejlige værelser og skønne senge. Vi fik lov til at benytte værelset da vi ankom ved 10.30 tiden, selv om det først skulle være til rådighed ved 14 tiden. Lidt malurt Der gik en brandalarm d. 2 morgen på hotellet ved 8 tiden. Vi styrtede ned af trappen og anbefalede […] andre gæster at gøre det samme. Nede i receptionen havde de desværre svært ved at give information om hvordan vi skulle forholde os idet de mente at der var tale om en falsk alarm. Det bør kunne gøres bedre, med information og klar besked. Morgenmads buffeten som kunne tilkøbes var en trist forestilling. Det kan findes bedre rundt omkring i distriktet. Læs mere

Dejligt hotel ved Kalvin Ter metrostation og tæt på nationalmuseumet og 5 gang fra Frihedsbroen og hotel Gellert, hvor man kan få spabehandling og bade i varme kilder - Det skal opleves. Selve hotellet og værelserne er rent og fint og holdt moderne. Der er en god morgenmadsbuffet, som koster 10 €. Der er gratis Internet. Personalet er flinke og hjælpsomme […] og de snakker fint og forståeligt engelsk Hotellet er placeret i Raday-gaden, som er restaurantgaden. Der findes massere af gode og billige restauranter, men vil klart anbefale restaurant Costes, som er en Michelinrestaurant og er nabo til hotellet. Det er halv pris i forhold til restauranter i dk, så hvis man vil have en madoplevelse ud over det sædvanlige, så er det Costes man skal besøge. Dog skal de siges, at priserne er noget af det dyreste man kan finde i Budapest, og det ligger også over dansk niveau, men i forhold til at spise på 1. kl, så er det billigt. Jeg bestilte en "tasting menu" med 5 retter + vinmenu til 800 kr. Men sætter man pris på gourmetmad, så er det her man skal hen. De er kun en enkelt stjerne under Noma :) Byen er nem at komme rundt i vha. metro og busser. Jeg rejser meget alene i storbyer og jeg følte mig sikker på alle tidspunkter af døgnet. Læs mere

Hotellet ligger i rimelig gå afstand til det meste af Pest. Hotellet har god standard, lidt a la et bedre Scandic hotel.

I needed to add anadditional night to my stay. I was quoted a reasonable rate initially but when I went to pay I was told I could not avail of that rate. I was treated icely by the staff member on duty and my experience soured. I was totally disgusted and had to book alternative accomodation for my last night in Budapest. I was incredibly satisfied with the experience at Ibis. Everything was done well and it felt like a typical Western style business hotel. Nothing is outrageously priced, the internet works well, and the location is perfect with access to the 47 and 49 trams (to the train stations and around the center of Budapest) and the Underground. The hotel is located in a very good position: quite, close to the metro and full of nice restauraunts, not so far from the river. The location is great, right on the main street for Restaurants and a well served by the Metro and Tram. The restaurants and bars in the locality are great, and if you are up for a short (15 - 20 minute) walk you will find yourself in what was described to us as the Soho of Budapest drinking with the locals and toursits alike. TThe hotel is well situated, clean, rooms are small but comfortable. The only problem is that you can hear every noise and that can be disturbing. Pitty because hotel would be othervise excellent. However valuing the price, location, free wi fi and deposit box, niče staff and cleanliness we would choose this hotel again.

This hotel is a great find. Location is superb with easy access to restaurants and transport. Staff are total professionals, all who speak excellent English, and they go to any length to assist. The breakfast is 5 star. It will be very hard to beat in terms of value and facilities. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Recommended!! Great location on restaurant street. 30 second walk to the nearest metro station which is just one stop from the main centre square. Staff were great with tips / advice on travel / sight seeing etc Free wifi throughout the hotel. This hotel was extremely clean, staff were incredibly helpful and the location was fabulous. The street has dozens of outdoor cafes so food options were great - and yet it was a very quiet location at night. We stayed 6 nights of a 2-week vacation at the Ibis Centrum. We loved the location, very convenient to the center of the city but not too touristy. It is in the midst of a wealth of restaurants frequented by tourists and locals alike, one of which (the Voros Postakocsi) had such a fabulous menu that we returned 3 times. Convenient walking distance to […] many spots, and once we understood the public transit system (no thanks to the sometimes abrupt staff), we could visit the whole city with ease. Do not stay at this hotel if you have a car!!! The room was comfortable and a good value. Hotel is newer and the rooms are updated and clean. The rooms are a bit small but you don't spend much time in them anyways as there is too much to see in Budapest. The location of the hotel is great and they have an underground garage for your vehicle (surcharge). It's located on a lively strip with lots of restaurants and cafes. This may be the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I have travelled worldwide. It is on the most famous street for bars and restaurants which I was unaware of. However, these are better places in the summer months. 10min walk to the bars and cruises along the Danube and a few mins from main nightlife and underground to get around the city.

Very friendly service. Good facilities available 24hrs (internet, food, drinks). Lots of restaurants on the same street, just off central location but within walking distance of everything you would need for your stay in Budapest. Would recommend.

I really liked the location of this hotel, it was on a street where no cars are allowed to drive down and the street was full of nice bars and restaurant. The only negative thing I have to say is that the air conditioning didn't work very well, otherwise, highly recommended!

Very central location to all mode of transport, shops and restaurant. If I were to go again, would definitely book Ibis Centrum again for its affordability, convenience and helpfulness of staff. My only critic is the size of the room, could be a bit bigger :-)

Room was nice, clean and location was really good. But the AC in our room was not cold. The front of the hotel was under construction and some homeless people were sleeping on the sidewalk. We found the hotel to be perfectly located with excellent places to eat just outside our hotel! We had no problem with noise or other downers to comfortable rest. The staff was friendly and very willing to help with directions and other information. The rates were very reasonable and I will always try to stay at the Ibis when we get back to Budapest!! […] Excellent is the best word I have to describe the experience and I highly recommend this hotel. I found an amazing deal for this ibis, at around $70/night. It's centrally located, with plenty of restaurants right outside the hotel door. Stayed for four nights, and the room was everything we needed in a hotel. Efficient, clean, great price. We never ate breakfast there, it seemed overpriced and preferred grabbing a bite one the way. The air conditioning […] turned off one night, which made the room very stuffy, but when we told the front desk the next day, they quickly apologized and said it would be turned back on that morning. This is a beautifully located hotel, a couple of blocks away from the Danube, and right on a vibrant but quiet gastro street packed with terraces, restaurants and cafes. Staff were impeccable, friendly and efficient. Quality of the room was satisfactory for the price we paid. Would definitely stay there again!

Excellent location especially for the price. Parking convenient just have to drive down narrow street. Also the restaurants on Raday Utca are very solid, the best one for the price and food by far is Angelos! Going to Angelos is a Definite must! We stayed at the Ibis Budapest Centrum for 4 nights in early April 2012 and were very impressed by the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel but mostly by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The hotel is well located for the main sights of Gellert Hill, the Chain Bridge and Buda Castle, being approx 15 mins walk from Erzsebet Bridge (where […] the sightseeing cruises depart from). Being located on Utca Raday, there were plenty of eateries to choose from, though we would highly recommend the 'Pata Negra' Spanish Tapas Restaurant which is literally just around the corner. The only minus point for us was that the room was too warm and the air con didn't cool so we had to leave the window open.
