Rooms are clean. Clean sheets, clean bathrooms. Hotel is quiet and can get a good nights sleep. Desk staff very nice and attentive. They have been doing renovations such as changing the carpet and trying to rid the hotel of the chronic smell of smoke. Got the impression that they are trying to get this place in better shape. The morning after my stay, I had itching red raised bumps in a row on my arms. Not knowing what it was, I didn't say anything to your employees. After checking, I found it resembled Bed Bug bits.

Easy to locate, accessible to main roads, undergoing renovation but doing a good job of keeping the property cleaned up as they work...reasonably priced for a servicable room

For the money value this hotel was above average but nothing overly impressive about it. The rooms were clean and we had a very pleasant stay.

Very modern, very clean and very accomadating. I would highly recommended this hotel. Located right off 202 and very easy to find yet hidden enough to escape traffic and crowds. I was very pleased with the hotel, the staff and the free breakfast. Very nice beds. Comfortable. Very Clean rooms. Hotel was undergoing some renovations. Small drawback. Very close to West Chester Univ.

Great hotel for the price. Staff always provided what we needed - cot, extra blankets, extra keys. Note: Wireless didn't really work in our room - had to use our 3G connection. Good little breakfast tho. Much better than other places, and worked for the family

The hotel was pretty much what I expected. I arrived very late and they were ready for me. The room was sufficient to my needs. The biggest challenge for me was that I flew in and the hotel isn't located on pathways. It's kind of located in the middle of major roads so probably works really well for anyone who has a car.

Should have taken the reviews in to account. I stayed at this place on a recommendation but never again. The room was smelly, the sheets were dirty and the hotel is under renovation.

Hotel being renovated, but staff helpful and area kept clean. Wifi worked. Have to drive to next junction for restaurants/shops.

I know this hotel is undergoing renovations but the renovations that have been made are not so good. There was an electric outlet by/under a mirror in the bedroom. There wa no way to access this outlet because it was mostly under the mirror. The lights over the beds didn't always come on or turn off. The switch had to be somewhere in the middle (not […] completely up or down) to turn the lights on. I think the electrician needs to be called to fix this! Also, the linens on one of the 2 queen beds was less than clean. Brown and black spots on the sheets on comforter. I was too tired to ask to move to a different room since my daughter and I had been on the road for 12 hours. We just wanted to get something to eat and to get a good night's sleep before visiting a nearby college. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. upon arriving the hotel entrace baseboard molding was missing and covered in black mold. Upon arriving in the lobby, the personel was not dressed well. the lobby had cheap furniture, cheap tile, cheap front desk. and to top it off, the hallway leading toward rooms on the first floor were also missing molding and thus the rug had raw edges and frayed. […] It was nasty and felt a bit uncomfortable upon arriving . will never return there, for sure. Although under renovations, the hotel is kept clean and safely maintained. The desk staff is friendly and informative. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

My room was clean but, small . There was no coffee maker, iron/ironing board, microwave, or refrigerator. There was ice available down the hall. There was a continental style breakfast in the lobby each morning. Over all, I was satisfied with my stay.

The hotel is in the process of being renovated. I could have been a bit cleaner. Some new sheets and towels wouldn't hurt either!

The place was being renovated which is understandable. They posted signs to excuse their mess which was expected. What is not axpected is to find an unopened condom on the floor by the bed. The towels were not as white as they should be nor were the sheets. I looked to change hotels but no close by rooms were available. I asked to change rooms but they […] said none were available. A coworker and I booked 2 rooms online with hotels.com, and when we arrived, they only had one, but managed to pull a smoking room out of thin air, so we stayed. The woman at the desk at the time was wonderful, and recommended a restaurant that we went to and loved. However, the rooms were kind of gross: painted two different shades of poo, and not […] very clean. I pulled back the blankets on one bed to find a yellow stain on the sheet. Luckily I had another bed...The other wasn't great, either, but I was pretty tired at that point. They definitely need to invest in some new linens... There were 6 pillows in the room, and each one was completely different in thickness and firmness (all pretty winpy). At least there was a variety to choose from--mix & match! And who was the designer who decided to put a single dim flourescent fixture in the bathroom?? Waking up to my image in the mirror in that light in the morning was a blow to the self-esteem, I tell ya! My coworker's room had peeling wallpaper and a hole in the bathroom door, plus noisy neighbors with a dog that barked all night. He was skeeved. All in all, it wasn't crazy horrible, but I'd rather not stay there again. I must stress again, though, that the woman at the front desk was super-nice. Læs mere

Me and my wife had a torrid time staying in this horrible hotel to the point of my wife being harrased for extension of reservation while I was away. Stay away from this hotel.

The hotel was not at all what I expected. If you're taking your family on vacation I especially would not recommend this hotel at all. The outside looks nice. The inside they said they were undergoing construction but the walls were peeling and the rugs were old. It was not that comfortable of a stay. I slept in my clothes. Considering the hotel was under going renovations; we were quiet satisfied with our visit.

Only complaint was that the toilet was leaking and wasn't about to change rooms at 1:30 in the morning (only staying one night). It was still working at that time. By morning it was not. Told the clerk in the morning and I'm sure it was taken care off. Otherwise the room was very satisfactory for our needs. Would recomend it.

This was a terrible place to stay, my room was dirty and falling apart, smelled like mold. I got in late at night, otherwise I would not have stayed there. There are many other hotels at the same price range near this one that are a much better place to stay.

I got a nice deal from hotels.com I have stayed at microtel elsewhere before. It's just great for business people like me. However, they need to put new TVs.

Feels more like a MOTEL with all the mirrors in the room, needs redecorating ASAP. Mattresses are way too old and dented. For a few bucks more get yourself a room somewhere else..

The hotel was just OK. The staff was not very friendly nor polite. The room was cramped, the TV old and very difficult to see and the bathroom needed maintenance work. The linoleum next to the tub was pealing up, the wall paper was pealing off the wall and has been stapled to the wall to hold it in place and the hallways had a bad odor. I found that it was literally the smallest room in a hotel I had ever seen. A bit hard when there are two people staying. The rooms seem dated and the bathroom had cracked, peeling ceilings and patched holes that werent repainted. There was no iron, despite the site saying rooms came with them. When I asked for one I got an attitude and was told only […] suite guests get irons. There was no kitchenette or microwave, which the listing says there is. I was very impressed with the Microtel outside of West Chester. I wasn't expecting too much because of the nightly rate, but the room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, there were plenty of towels and tissues, the water worked great - I will be back again. This is a basic no frills hotel, Ok for one or two night stay. There was no non-smoking room available so we took a smoking room which reeked however we needed a room. There is minimal soundproofing and we could hear children running outside and overhead well into the night. The room was also cold and the AC could not be turned completely off.
