Hotel Quinta da Marinha Resort - Cascais

My girl friend and I had a fantastic week and really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings in Cascais. This is really the place to go for golfers! The hotel was very nice, and the staff very service oriented. Only a couple of minor issues could be improved: - In the end of our stay a bigger group arrived to the hotel, which meant that this Group apparently […] had more focus than our normal guests, and we could not sit and have breakfast where we wanted to because this area was reserved for the Group. - The breakfast was OK, but no more than that considering this is a 5 star hotel. When you don't want to be to much near to the city center with that mutch traffic and bad parking possibilities, you will enjoy this hotel. It's about 15 to 18 minutes with car away from the town, by the historical national road! But it's a must, you will see a lot of spots near the ocean to stop and take wonderfull pictures. You can also take the […] Interstate, so you will be there in a couple of minutes. Whatever, the Hotel complex is just fantastic, if you stay at a villa you can use both hotels in the golf resort, there are two hotels ***** both with free spa entrance and massage and training possibilities. Lovely hotel, Ideal for those looking for a golf, relaxing sun or spa break away. Hotel is a 5 min taxi ride from the town centre. Shuttle buses runs into the town centre at 12 and 5pm and returns 20 mins later.It would be better if it ran more frequently. Rooms were lovely and a we had a balcony which was great.Some rooms have overlook the pool area, […] some are on the other side and have the morning sun instead. Internet access was available for free in the business centre. There was a lovely bakery/ coffee shop down the road next to the supermarket which was great also and less than 5 mins walk away from the hotel - directions are 'coming out of hotel take a right, then right again and then left at the roundabout. Its in a complex area so you wouldnt come across it that easy if you didnt know about it. The complex also had a dry cleaners,boutique, beauty salon and hairdressers, cocktail bar, restaurant which is convenient and looked nice. I would recommend this hotel but it is a 6 euro taxi ride to the town centre if you are planning going into town each evening. From the bus stop in Caiscais you can get a local bus to Sintra and then a bus to Pena Palace if you want. Sintra is a nice town to visit also. Taxis from the airport to the hotel should be approx 40 euro. There is a sign up in local taxis to pay no more than 40 euro for the journey so .. Læs mere

Relaxed environment coupled with scenic golf course. Allowed a tired executive successfully unwind. Ten minute spin to the wonderful seaside town of Caiscas with plenty good restaurants. Staff in hotel more than helpful but not imposing. More than happy to recommend hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days in a Villa (not inside the hotel per say). As a result, we did not get the typical amenities from the hotel, but since we needed a lot of space, the villa turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is outstanding by itself; it is paired with another hotel (just a couple of miles away) that offers the same level of […] amenities; since we were closer to the second hotel, this is where we spent the majority of our time. In total, we had access to 4 pools, none of which were heated (this appears to be a standard in Portugal). The breakfast was amazing. You have access to a full buffet, including dry meats and salmon; pastries; heated dishes and more. Since we were not inside the hotel we had to walk to the hotel; this was not an issue for us - the villas were only a minute or two away from the second hotel. The villa has two levels; it was very clean with a kitchen, but we were expecting a bit more. The typical hotel soaps/shampoos were only provided upstairs; not in the shower area downstairs. Same thing for the towels: upstairs only. We could not get hot water upstairs; so we all ended up taking showers downstairs which is a much smaller bathroom area. If you are a golfer, the main hotel has a golf course right there; it looked in really good condition. The hotel also has a restaurant by the Ocean. The restaurant is actually right on the Ocean, so the view is amazing. However, it is very expensive. So if you are on a budget, consider going elsewhere. So overall our stay was really pleasant, but the villa did not feel like a 5 star; more like a good 4 star hotel. Vi bodde i villa/bungalow och var mycket nöjda. Perfekt för golf. Läget något sämre för annat än golf. Hotellet ordnade transport till Cascais på fasta tider, annars taxi. Tåg från Cascais till Lissabon fungerade bra.

klasse Hotel; wir haben in einer der sehr geräumigen Villas gewohnt - super eingerichtete Küche, hervorragendes Schlafzimmer klasse Frühstück, schöne Hotelanlage, guter Service - und dank Hotels.com guter Preis. Innenbad relativ klein, aber im Hochsommer wird man das nicht brauchen. Für Golfer top, aber auch für Nichtgolfer, die nur Lissabon besuchen, […] gut (Fahrzeitvon LIS-Zentrum: ca. 30 min). Et eldorado for golfere, ikke mye av tilbud for andre. Skal du ta med kona på en ukes ferie sammen, er ikke dette stedet, men skal du derimot bare golfe....... . Har aldri opplevd tidligere at rommene har blitt ryddet to ganger pr. dag. Vi som er vant til norsk frokoststandard ble skuffet. Heller ikke mottagelsen var mye å rope hurra for. Plassert i […] et mørkt rom mot veien, selv om det i bestillingen stod mot golfbanen og poolen. Fikk endret dett dagen etter, men like fullt er det ikke slik man fyller opp et hotell. Gjennomnittalder på gjestene på golfbanen var godt over pensjonistalder og med tvilsomme handicap. Tok fryktelig lang tid å komme rundt banen Læs mere

Muy buena elección para visitar Lisboa y alrededores. El personal del hotel muy atento, los desayunos muy buenos, las villas muy cómodas para viajar con niños.

El hotel está fenomenal.estuvimos en una villa de 1 habitación un matrimonio y 2 niños, súper cómodos, las camas cl. oxido as, se duerme genial. La cocina y los dos baños con todo lo necesario, incluso los productos de baño son de la prestigiosa marca francesa Loccitine. Los desayunos abundantes y estupendos, los hacíamos en el otro hotel de la misma […] cadena q estaba mas próximo a nuestra Villa, se llama OnyrIa. Las villas de este nuevo hotel son modernísimas, de diseño minimalista. Las del hotel Marinna son de estilo ibicenco. Si vas a alojaste en estos hoteles y vas a moverte necesitas coche ya q no está muy próximo al centro de Cascáis. Te recomendamos ir a comer un día soleado a Casa da Maria, en parque lleno de pequeños restaurantes q en los días soleados q son muchos, sacan sus terrazas y hay unas maravillosas vistas al mar. Hay restaurantes Sueco,Tailandés, Argentini,Portugués....etc Celebramos fin de año en el hotel, éramos mas de 400 personas, el menú no estuvo mal, pero se notaba q estaba preparado hacia horas, la fiesta un poco mala, las orquestas ( habia dos pues habia dos salones) malísimas y fuera de onda pero como estábamos un grupo de amigos lo pasamos bien. Vi fikk en perfekt golfuke på Hotel Quinta da Marinha. Hotellet ordnet med starttider og transport til banene som alle var i super kondisjon. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

O Ar condicionado incomodava devido ao seu barulho. No wc só existia 1 sabonete. Os chinelos estavam trocados com dimensões diferentes. Curiosamente, o preço do alojamento não incluia p almoço, sendo o seu preço suplementar de 18 €/p abusivo.

Una piscina preciosa con amacas muy cómodas el spá muy tranquilo y agradable, la habitación estupenda (faltan cajones y perchas), el servicio muy amable, en fin¡¡¡ lo recomiendo y espero volver pronto.

Los niños y nosotros mismos nos hemos sentido muy cómodos. A detacar, la amabilidad del personal y las fantásticas instalaciones, ampliadas con la posibilidad de usar las del hotel de al lado ,al que se llega dando un paseo por su bien cuidado campo de golf.

Encantados con la estancia. Estuvimos en una villa de una habitación con 2 niños pequeños. Tiene una estructura de "casita adosada" en la que la habitación y baño principal están en la planta superior. Abajo está el salón, comedor, cocina y un segundo baño con ducha. Unos 90 metros en total. Las piscinas y alrededores son muy agradables. El campo de […] golf estupendo y si estás en el hotel el precio es bueno. El desayuno bien pero como punto negativo decir que para los huéspedes que están varios días (estuvimos 10 noches) se hace muy aburrido porque no varían ningún producto. Cenamos un par de días en el hotel y, aunque la comida no nos pareció excelente, el ambiente y la comodidad de cenar allí lo compensó. El servicio y atención de todas las personas del hotel fue muy bueno. El wifi es muy caro (15 euros día). Yo creo que un hotel de esta categoría debería ofrecer internet gratuito... Læs mere

En nydelig ro hviler over stedet. Servicen er upåklagelig, og Villaene vi bodde i er ypperlig for familier. Og her har du alt det beste rundt deg -- Sintra, Colares og Cascais. Og vil du inn til storbylivet er Lisboa 45 minutter avgårde med bil eller tog. Vil absolutt anbefale leie bil, selv om hotellet har busser som fyker deg hit og dit.

We lived in a one bed-room villa, very nice with access to garden on ground-floor. We were a bit off-season ( end of june-beginning of july) so the price we paid was very satisfactory. At least one of the pool areas were very nice and no lack of sunbeds. Break-fast was way above our expectations!! On the downside food and drinks at the resort were […] very expensive in comparison with local restaurants in Cascais. You also had to take a cab to reach Cascais, there was nothing within walking distance, also in the resort area you had to use the free shuttle ( worked very well) in order to get from one hotel to another. There were two hotels, hotel quinta da marinha and then a newer design-hotel, which pool we used and which was nearer our villa (walking distance). The Quinta da marinha hotel pool area was not as nice as this. There was a good-minimarket within walking distance from the quinta da marinha hotel. The resort staff were very friendly !! Læs mere

I really enjoyed a week at the Quinta de Marinha. We were in one of the 4 bed villas near the new hotel Onyria in the area. Service, breakfast, pools and surroundings are superb! Book a table at the Meste Ze fish restaurant 5 min away. Order shell-fish plate. Enough for a hole family and excellent! One person during hole week gave poor service. Very friendly personnel and good breakfast. Nice golf course beside the hotel. Litlle bit expensive, but nice village Cascais close enought to have dinner or make shopping.

Sehr schönes Hotel, ruhig gelegen.

Vraiment un très bel hôtel situé à 30-40 minutes en voiture de Lisbonne et Sintra. Il est également proche de l'océan. Cet hôtel est très propre, la piscine extérieur est très grande, la piscine intérieur est chauffée, il dispose d'un hammam et d'un sauna, il dispose aussi de grands et très beaux jardins d'intérieur (c'est la première chose que vous […] voyez en sortant de votre chambre, magnifique!), ... Bref, cet hôtel est vraiment d'un très bon niveau. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et délicieux. L'hôtel dispose également d'un grand parking souterrain avec de larges places. Le seule regret: En revenant d'une grande visite de Sintra, nous aurions aimé profiter à nouveau de la piscine intérieur, du sauna et hammam mais ils ferment à partir de 20h. Læs mere
