The hotel was going through the process of being upgraded/repairs but based on the condition of the areas not yet under repair found them to be in sad shape which makes me wonder how it was given such a high rating in the first place.

We stayed at this hotel sometime last year and liked it but I really like the renovations that were done. Nice. and as always - great breakfasts!! My kids can all find something they like and actually look forward to the good food. Thanks from a satisfied mother of 3 who all have different tastes!

No issues. Staff very friendly. Were going through upgrades during visit, but well handled. Nice fitness room, but pick your times as busy early morning. Conveniently located next to dozens of major stores and restaurants and easy access to highways.

A terrific location right off the highway. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and gas. Close enough to get to downtown Columbus in 10 to 15 minutes, yet far enough to be away from all the traffic. Some hotel discount booking will not let you do this online if you have 3 to 4 children in your family. This hotel was very customer friendly providing fresh baked cookies and coffee near the reservation desk area. Debbie went out of her way to make us welcome. There was a very nice light breakfast the next morning. They are undergoing some remodeling right now but that really did not bother our stay at all. Their pool was open till midnight. After a long drive that was nice to see and was heated unlike some hotels I have been to. The hot tub was a little on the small side and worked great! Friendly staff, rooms very clean and confortable. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. The room was attractive and very clean. The parking lot was very well lit which probably kept our cars safer but some of the light escaped from the curtains edges and you could not tell if it was day or night. Location was perfect and less than one mile from numerous restaurants, banks, service businesses, and even gas stations. Room was clean with all the little extras I needed and the breakfast was more than I expected - neat and nicely presented, hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Bed was actually more comfortable than most other 4-4.5 star places […] I've stayed ... no kidding! And between that great comfortable bed with very cozy comforter and nice pillows AND the rest of the great value attributes, I will be staying here many more times for my business in Columbus. Tough to park in a crew cab truck. Busy week, lot mostly full and hard to get turned around in lot with full size truck. Car wouldn't be a problem. Overall a good stay once in the lot.

Our recent stay was one of comfort and convenence. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the air conditioner. It was quite noisy, though it functioned very well. the noise didn't keep us from sleeping, so we opted to tell the desk clerk the next morning when we checked out. We travel on business and have stayed in many Country Inn and Suites. This facility seemed to be in the process of doing some maintenance while we were there (painting the outside of building). I felt the inside walls and carpets needed some attention. The wallpaper was ripped and stained in the hallways. The wallpaper and drapes in the kitchen area […] needed some serious cleaning. The area where the food was being served was always being cleaned by staff so that was nice to see. The beds were comfortable and seemed to have new mattresses. Outdated T.V.'s with no pay for view movies. The internet worked great. Did not use the pool. Overall, the staff was pleasant and had no problem with our reservations. Food was acceptable to get you going in the morning. Not sure I would stay again in this facility because it was outdated and needs some attention. We stayed at Country Inn and Suites while vacationing in Columbus, OH. We were looking for an inexpensive hotel but at the same time giving us comfort, proximity and cleanliness. This hotel is maintained very well and has a good atmosphere. Excellent proximity to the expressway.

Arrived late and had to leave early, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and nice pillows. I didn't eat breakfast there; there is a bob evans just a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Contiental breakfast was good. Only problem we had was with hot tub-the water wasn't hot.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well staffed. The hot breakfast could have used a little help with some fresh not canned fruit, but it was definitely worth the value and cost! We had a great time! Thanks again and we hope to see you next year.

The bed frame in my room was covered in dust 1/4" thick and the bathtub was full of hair. The clothes iron leaked all over as soon as water was added to it, and the microwave broke. The whirlpool didn't work, the 'hot' breakfast was room temperature and the french toast was so hard I snapped three knives in half before giving up on it. This hotel was great. The service was wonderful as well as the food and staff. It was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Located near all and easy access to major highway. I would definitely stay again.

Great Place to stay clean comfortable and a good price who could ask for more.

We were in OH visiting friends, and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites Columbus west during Sept 2010. We were greeted warmly, and made to feel very welcome. The main reasons that I choose this hotel was for the jacuzzi which did not work and the business center which equally was unavailable. However, the good thing was that Best Western was right next door. I was able to use their Jacuzzi to relax in, their computer to do my school and business work and their parking lot when we came in late and there were […] no parking spots at the hotel. Over all though, I did enjoy the cozy setting of the hotel. I was most pleased with the front porch. It gave the hotel a homey feel. This is a very nice hotel. In fact we have stayed there before we started using Hotels.com for our reservations. There is a very good breakfast and the place is very clean. There are only two only drawbacks (and these are temporary) which I could mention. One was that the hot tub in the pool area was out of order for repairs. The other was that a detour […] of some major road in the area took a lot a traffic right in front of the hotel's entrance/exit. This made it difficult for hotel guests to leave at certain times of the day depending on traffic. (This was the only basis for my "surrounding neighborhood" rating in the survey...the area around the Country Inn and Suites is a great place.) Læs mere

Hot breakfast and warm cookies at night were appreciated by the younger contingent in our party. Front desk staff was helpful in coordinating a room change from smoking to non-smoking despite being oversold.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations met our high expectations, as always. We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions over the past 10+ years, and have always appreciated the friendly, professional staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the beautifully landscaped exterior. We can't wait for our next visit.

The room was clean, the staff was very nice. Good value for the price of a two night stay. I'd recommend it.
