The location is very convenience and close to all attractions. breakfast is great.only one thing is the WIFI is not free, unlike the Best western Olimpia in Venice where WIFI is free.

I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is comfortable and clean and with reasonably good facilities for a city hotel. The staff are efficient and helpful and they have some considerate extras such as tea and coffee making facilitiy on request. It was also quite well-located, only a short walk to to major sites and close to Santa Maria Novella train station. The down-side of this […] hotel is that it was noisy inside - you can hear chairs scraping, people walking around etc from other rooms, particularly from the room above. We were also told that they were not allowed to have the air-conditioning on until April which meant that we had to keep the windows open all day and at night. It was very nice hotel with the nice view. Breakfast was good and otel really nice.

Great location, 5 min walking to the SMN station, 10- 15 min walking to all atractions. Very clean and confortable. Great brakfast, staff amazing!

On arrival the hotel was not much to look at, needed painting but very nice inside. the road in front of the hotel was noisy at night but fortunately our room was at the back so was quite. the hotel was convenient for travel as it was close to the bus and train stations. it was a fair distance to walk into town but quite pleasant walking along the river. […] the only negative thing was that we had to pay the extra tax on departure 16 euros each (1eruo per night per person depending on hotel ratiing. Room is comfort , bathroom with a bathtub is big and clean the wooden floor is great but the hotel surroundings are terrible.

Our hotel had convinient location: a few minutes walk from bus and train stations and 15-20 minutes walk to all the attractions. The breakfast was very good with plentiful food choices, the service was exceptional. We went to Florence to do the tourist thing for 3 nights. The staff were very helpful and spoke fluent English. The hotel was walking distance to all the major attractions, though the neighborhood seemed a bit rough - there were always guys habging out on the street openly drinking at all hours. The rooms were modermn and clean. Request a room facing […] the central parkade - much quieter. The beds were rock hard and it took a long time for the rooms to heat up once you inserted your room key into the inner slot to activate the power. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of hot and cold variety. The biggest negative was having to pay for internet access and only having access in the lobby - big pain to plan your days and stay connected with home. Læs mere

We wanted a hotel within walking distance of the Duomo/museums/etc. at a reasonable price for three people. The BW Grand Adriatico fit the bill for our first trip to Florence and seems to fit the bill for American tour groups as several large groups came/went during our stay. The room was fine, though the beds were too firm. Coffee makers/extra pillows […] are by request only; parking is 20Euro per day and internet is 15Euro per day; such hotel practices are deflating. While I usually enjoy having breakfast at a local shop, the hotel breakfast (included!?!) was very good and enjoyable. We had a formal dinner 'around the corner' at a restaurant the hotel recommended and had a casual dinner right across the street; both were terrific. The walk to the city center was a joy during the day and at night, too. All in all, it worked; but I somehow feel I paid too much for what I received. Læs mere

Florence...beautiful city, albeit crazy expensive...though the area around this hotel was, shall we say, unique. Just a short walk to the centre though so not a big deal. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable, though the choice of music through the TV is questionable...had a good laugh listening to Michael Bolton late one surreal evening.... Hotel was nice, much better than the other one we stayed at in Florence. Two blocks walk to the bus terminal and the train station, about 30 minutes walk to the Duomo. Restaurant across the street was great. We ate there twice. Overall good place to stay.

Nice. Convenient. Very close to train/bus terminal- so don't take a taxi if you don't need to. Had to pay for internet but decent connection mostly.

Good location, 5min walk from train and bus station, 10 min to downtown centers. Just away from the overpriced hotels but large clean rooms. One of the best rooms in our holidays and not the most expensive.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Close to the train station, but away from the touristy parts of the City. Only downside was you had to pay for internet, which is not a huge deal, but it would be nice if it had free wifi.

Friendly staff, very nice rooms and breakfast. If you are in doubt, just go for it, it's very convenient: few blocks from the main train station and very close to the most important places. There is a restaurant in front of the hotel called MARO, where you eill have the best pasta of your life: Tortelloni with Tartufo. :)

This is another hit or miss hotel. The staff behind the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was good unless you're driving your own car. But we found a great restaurant around the corner, Il Profeta, that almost made up for the hotel. We booked this hotel because it was air conditioned and booked superior room which ended up […] being on the 2nd floor. It was dark but very large with a nice large bathroom. We had views of the side of a parking and the tops of a huge umbrella. We asked if there were any other rooms that were brighter and/or views of anything other than the garage & they were kind to show us 2 other rooms on higher floors. Both those other rooms had very strange layouts and very small so we stuck with the original room. I must say that our bed was large and clean but the mattress must have been made out of boards with no padding (honestly) because neither of us slept for the 2 nights we were there because we were so uncomfortable; my hip bones hurt from lying down - and I'm not skinny!! After a long day of walking and standing in lines in Florence, it's important to be able to get a good night's sleep but it wasn't possible. On this trip around Italy, we stayed in 5 different hotels and this one had the worst breakfast buffet; not much to choose from and not really sure what the juices were - even though they were labeled. Nothing to fill you up except cereals, rolls and some fruit. If you only want a place that's clean and has a friendly face behind the desk - this would be it. But, if comfort & a good breakfast to get you started is important - I'd find another hotel. This hotel was not worth the price!! Læs mere

Very Nice Hotel. Staff is very helpful with anything you ask. Highly recommend this hotel when in Florence.

The location is great, just a short walk from the train/bus station where the airport bus dropped us off. The hotel looks nice, well maintained and very clean. It doesn't look like a chain hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with everything we needed, including museum tickets, directions, restaurant tips, etc. The breakfast had variety […] and was available till 10am. Within walking distance of the train station but on a quiet street

I had read previous reviews about this hotel so I did have rather high expectations. I'm happy to say that they were met. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (everyone spoke English) and accomodating. The room was large and clean. The location was fantastic - basically, 2 blocks from the SMN train station and church. It was about 4 or 5 blocks […] from the shopping district and other sights. The breakfast at the hotel (which was included in the room rate) was good and the staff working in the dining room was very attentive and friendly. The hotel has an arrangement with a local gym located down the block, and I was able to work out for free. The only criticism I can think of is that the internet service was not included with the room rate, but that seems to be typical of most tourist hotels in Europe. The area is a bit rough but it is close to the train station and most of the attractions are walkable fro there. Also, there is a laundromat right next store which is handy if you are traveling for a long time.

This hotel is within five minutes walking distance of Santa Maria Novella Railway Station in Florence so if arriving by train the location is perfect. The entrance lobby, Reception area and lifts are a bit dated but the rooms are newly and tastefully decorated with all the expected amenities. The room was on the small side, but clean and the bathroom was a good size. The hotel was close to public transport and walking distance to everywhere. However it did seem to be in a slightly dingy part of town particularly as it was so close to the main train station. That said, we had a very pleasant stay.

The staff was friendly and helped with our plans for sites to see. Spoke English fluently and was always available. They allowed us parking that was free because of available room in their lot. Our room was small but clean and updated. Very enjoyable to come back to. Great location to the train and other sites. Nice breakfast and wonderful service.

The hotel is close to the train station and easily within walking distance of the major attractions of Florence. The neighborhood is a little unique and might not appeal to all people. It is the type of neighborhood that seems dead during the day, but livens up at night. There are two pubs within walking distance, along with a Chinese place, a Japanese […] place, and a Kabab shop. There are many pastry shops as well as a bank and some small markets. It's close to the water and there's an easy route to Piazza Republica. On the negative side, you have to pay for internet access. The hotel was much nicer than we expected for the price we paid. Location was very convenient for dropping off our Hertz rental car. The only complaint about the room was that the shower doors wouldn't close completely; otherwise it was very comfortable. Lovely hotel. Ideally situated to see all the sights of Florence. Staff were very helpful and polite. Room was clean and very comfortable. Situated on a relatively quiet road. Would definitely go back. Parking was free, a bonus. Definitely recommend it to others.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and recommend it. The room was small but adequate and very clean with updated furnishings and decor. The air conditioning worked very well. We had recently been to Florence and booked this hotel for 2 nights. Later being happy with the hotel and deciding to stay one more day in florence, we extended our stay by one night. The check-out time is 11am or 12pm I dont recall. However there was heavy construction work noise in the morning at 8.30 am! Since we were the corner room we found out […] that it was from the neighboring building. On requesting the hotel to change our room couple of times, we were told that they will take a look at the noise but never offered to change the room. Given that we had planned to rest well on the last day before chekcing out this was a big downer. We found the staff at the reception cold and not going that extra mile. The hotel met my expectations because it was clean and close to the train station. The staff kept turning off my thermostat at night and got hot quick. After I called a couple of times they stopped.
