fresh fruit would have been a nice touch at breakfast instead of tinned fruit cocktail. safe in room was free...surprise!! staff friendly and very helpful. good location for termini ( max 5 mins away walking) and main sights in walking distance if you fairly fit and able. would stay again on next trip

My husband and I have stayed here before. Quiet, quaint, clean. Staff very friendly and helpful, maids wear cute aprons. The breakfast is amazing! Home made jam! Great selection of breads, cheese, meats, eggs. Sit inside or outside on lovely garden patio. Handicap accessable, elevator. My husband travels with a small scooter, and no problems getting […] into room or bath. The hotel even provides a bath chair and a scale that was great for weighing our suitcases. First, the hotel staff upgraded us to a larger room. Concierge Anke, when realizing we would be in Rome for only a short time, assessed our priorities and mapped out a route that would maximise our visit. She added some sites that we would have been sorry to miss. Breakfasts at the hotel were delightful. The breakfast staff (we didn't get her name) […] set our table, provided coffee service at the table, and replenished coffee when needed. Hotel Columbia gave me exactly what I was looking for in Rome. A clean, comfortable place to stay with superb staff. They were so helpful and kind. The room was good. I was given exactly what I requested. The breakfast was first-class. I recommend the hotel.

Hotel is in a great location near the train station and walking distance to many sites. Service staff was great as well. Only issue is that walls seemed very thin and we were woken up many times by noises from other rooms.

We had a room on the 2nd floor. You could hear water running behind the bathroom wall. I suppose they know about this because they have thick terry cloth shower curtains. With the shower curtains closed and the bathroom door closed, the noise was not a problem. The room was clean and made up every day. The staff was amazing. It was our birthdays so […] the management sent up a bottle of Riesling on the house! The front desk person also recommended the best place for pizza and pasta in the less touristy area of trastavere. The Wi-Fi didn't work for one day but they called multiple people in to try to fix it. It was working the next morning. Our safe wasn't working but they offered to let us use a manual safe and fixed the electronic one in the room the next day. Great location, near termini, gives easy access to go anywhere in the city. The food was good, and the outside terrace was a wonderful place to start the day eating breakfast.

As we walked through the front door we were greeted with a smile and relieved to learn they spoke English. We were given a great room with a king size bed and delighted to see a fruit basked on the desk. This was an excellent touch after a long days travel. We were pleasantly surprised with Hotel Columbia. The outside is deceiving as inside the hotel is clean, comfortable and well maintained. By no means a 5 star stay, but at half the price and as a solid 3 star we have no complaints.

We returned home on the 22 September 2012 from Rome - we had a good time at the hotel columbia. The hotel was very clean, with clean sheets at least 3 times during the week we were there. The room was a good size with a good bathroom/shower. Great little hotel 10 minutes walk from Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and Colosseum. Rooms comfortable and clean and everything you need. Roof terrace for breakfast is lovely plus small bar. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend.

The staff was courteous and helpful. They called taxis, arranged my internet connection, provided an exceptionally pleasant breakfast in really pleasant surroundings and kept my room in spotless condition. My room was large (with two beds) with a high ceiling (and a very pretty chandelier!). The windows overlooked some Roman rooftops and could be opened. The […] bathroom had a large tub and as well as a bidet which even an American could figure out how to use! Another small, but very handy feature was the pull out clothes line which could easily be retracted when not in use. Plenty of clean towels every day added to a guest's comfort. 7-10 minute easy walk from Termini train station. We were allowed to check in early. Nice room, first floor all the way in the back. Very nice rooftop where you have breakfast. Expect revolving front desk clerks, all were nice and helpful. This leads to a bit of what I consider a potential security issue. You ask for your key by room number and no one […] asks your name. The hotel's proximity to Rome's Termini station is a plus for visitors who need to travel out of Rome, although it is a bit far from the traditional tourist stops in the city. Nice hotel, walking distance to all the major sites. Close to the Termini, where the Bus shuttel took us from the airport - only 8€ t/r. Small but nice and clean room. Very good beds. Not very good breakfast. No Wifi included. Nice staff. Open all night if you come back late.

We are repeat offenders at the Columbia, we like the staff and the location, for a hotel in an old roman building they have a good standard of room with decent storage provision and whilst we would have prefered a bath the large shower space worked really well. The Hotel Columbia is exceptionally clean and all the staff helpful and pleasant. The buffet breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The rooms were adequately furnished and comfortable. We would most certainly stay there again. The Colloseum and Forum were within walking distance and the hotel was very close to the Metro, bus station and Termini.

Great Hotel with a great location. The staff were fabulous and their help made our short 3 day stay simply wonderful. Easy access to the metro and buses. Great dining at La Gallina just a short walk away - we dined there 3 times!

テルミニ駅近くで、ローマ観光の拠点として便利でした。サービスは過不足なく、十分でした。朝食時に砂糖をこぼしてしまうという失態を演じたときにも、ノープロブレムといってくれ、親切な対応をしてもらいました。

テルミン駅から徒歩5分圏内の好立地です。 スペイン広場、コロッセオ、トレビの泉などの観光地へ歩いて行くことも可能でした。 フロントの女性の方がとても親切でした。 朝食はついていますがさほど種類は多くなく、連泊だと飽きてしまうかもしれません。 建物自体は古いですが、部屋は清潔に保たれていましたし、広さもちょうど良いです。 JSTVが入っていて日本のテレビ番組を視聴出来るのも嬉しいです。 バスタブはシャワーが天井に固定されていて、日本人にとっては使いづらいかもしれません。

Jag trivdes bra på hotellet! Det var ett bra läge från Termini när man kommer från flygplatsen. Det var ungefär lika långt till alla sevärdheter. Det passade oss bra eftersom vi gärna promenerar. Frukosten var ok. Hotellets personal vänliga. Rent och fräscht. Städningen var bra. Wi-Fi funkade dåligt på vårat rum. Men, det var inte anledningen till att […] vi valde hotellet. I överlag är jag nöjd! Efter en hel dag på av vandring på Roms gator och torg kändes det skönt att komma hem till vårat rum. Læs mere

Termini駅から徒歩で5分程度、Gマップで行き方をシミュレートしていたので、迷わず行けました。部屋はそれなりの広さ（狭さ？）でしたが、快適でした。TVisorでの評判通り、屋上テラスでの朝食は良かったです。　ただWifiが1回線で1端末しか繋がらなくないのが不満と言えば、不満ですか。でもそれは贅沢なのかもしれません。

観光でいろいろ回ることの多いローマでは、テルミニ駅にもレパブリカ駅にも近く本当に助かりました。現地ツアーのバスの停留所や、ローマ名所巡回のバスの停留所も近く本当に便利です。ローマは石畳の通路なのでスーツケースの移動やその他徒歩での移動時には駅が近いというのは大切だな、と痛感しました。 フロントの方々はとてもフレンドリーです。部屋はロマンチックではありませんが、必要最低限はそろっています。ローマでは朝～夜まで観光に出ていますので（とにかく観光名所が多いので）、十分かと思います。 朝の食事はパン数種類、ハム、サラミ、チーズ、フルーツ、ヨーグルト、シリアルなど色々ありましたが、野菜類はありませんでした。 屋上のオープンテラスが開放的で素敵でした。

Erg schone kamers en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt op het dakterras. Centraal gelegen, ideaal bij het station en goed lopend te doen naar bezienswaardigheden zoal Trevifontein en spaanse trappen. Rustige locatie ook.

Si l'environnement de l’hôtel est très quelconque, cela est très largement compensé par l’accessibilité de tous les transports( métro , bus station termini.à 5 mn) Très facile et pratique […] pour le départ des visites. Le personnel de l'hôtel 24h/24h est professionnel, rien à dire.
