Executive Airport Plaza - Richmond

Very impressed with helpfulness & friendliness of staff, amenities & Steak House for dining. Having a shuttle for Airport transport was an added bonus, as was the complimentary breakfast coupon.

Great central location in Richmond, close to the airport and mall. Very polite front desk and cleaning staff. Parkade is really difficult to drive and park (tight corners and spots). Heating/air wasn't working well in the room and the free breakfast was less than stellar. (food was wrong serving temp, over or under cooked). Service was great in the […] restaurants. We've flown from Montreal to Vancouver quite a few times over the years, and most of our stays have been at the Executive Airport Plaza. Be it for vacations, transiting thru Vancouver, spending time on business, or just a weekend get away, we mostly always choose this hotel. I can't say enough about how well the staff treated us -- they were great! Setup was kind of wierd with the pool in one area of the hotel and the hot tub in another... Still a great expereince!

An enjoyable, relaxing weekend at your Hotel, within walking distance to most everything anyone would like to do. The service was great and Hotel Lobby / Parking attendant was friendly and most helpful.

Close to Richmond center mall and all convience of city . Transportion to airport provided every half hour.Hotel service is just basic.

We stayed only for the night but the service seemed ok.

All staff members were helpful and kind. They always smiled and had extremely pleasant attitudes!

Overall a decent hotel. Our room was clean, although the dishes in the cupboard were noticeably dirty (glasses, plates, utensils) We booked this hotel for the pool so our daughter could swim, after finally locating the pool we found it was closed due to maintenance. We even had to stop at the front desk for proper directions, and were still not informed […] about the closure even though it was apparent we were going to swim. We requested a baby crib, were told it would be sent up immediately (9pm) and at 10:30pm we called to cancel because it still had not arrived. Good price for what you actually get, but I have stayed at far nicer hotels for a lot cheaper. Læs mere

This hotel is a very nice place to stay if enroute to/from YVR or if staying in the Richmond area. It has a free airport shuttle that's very prompt. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located about 3 blocks from Skytrain station. Rooms are dated in appearance, but are large and very clean. The free continental breakfast was very good, as was the free […] WiFi. Læs mere

Good property but managed by incompetative staff. My original room was changed to a junior shuit which was really not the requirement of my family with 2 kids. On enquirey the manager response was unbusiness like. Sendon day my reservation was cancelled and we were forced to stay in the lobby for 1 hour. On my enquiry no one came out to explain the […] reason for the cancellation neither the manager tried to contact us for an explanation. Læs mere

My husband & I wanted to be near the airport so that we could catch a 0255 plane to Perth. We were dropped there by hire car at 1600 the day before & left by complimentary shuttle at 2100 that day. We had a beautiful dinner at the steakhouse situated in the complex. The service was superb. The shuttle driver was so helpful & courteous.

overall our family stay at Executive Airport Plaza was good. Definitely will go back there if the parking could be of no charge next time.

The experience at this hotel was superb. My father and I were up-graded to a suite with individual bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and extremely efficient and our stay was very enjoyable. RA

Nice Hotel a little bit confussing to get around. Front desk staff are not well informed about guest, guest phone for people trying to reach guest, but other than that they were pleasan and tried to be helpfull.

I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in after 10pm and I was upgraded to the penthouse. All the staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help. That said the room was a bit dated and other than the main lobby the hotel could use an upgrade. Overall I was happy with my stay and would likely stay again in the future.

The tower suite was comfortable for a business trip and complimentary breakfast provided a nice choice. I would stay at this hotel again.

The Executive Airport Plaza exceeded our expectations. It is conveniently located, clean & comfortable with a good buffet breakfast and friendly staff.

Check-in service was efficient and helpful; service at breakfast really good. Buffet breakfast had good variety and was pretty good quality. Room tastefully furnished and comfortable but bathroom a bit dated though clean. Overall good value for a mid-range hotel quite close to the Vancouver airport (~10 min).

This was a very nice hotel to stay at. There are 2 great restaurants on site and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The one restaurant that we went to for breakfast daily had a delicious buffet. The only complaint is that the pool was freezing cold and was in a separate building from the hot-tub so you have to go outside from the pool to get to […] the other building and up to the 8th floor if you want to use the hot-tub (not very convenient). Also there were problems with the fire alarm when we arrived so it kept going on & off for several hours in the evening and our kids had a hard time falling asleep, Close to lots of restaurants and shops and not far from the Airport. I was initially "upgraded" to their suits, and had to find out the worst way that their "internet" at their suits were wired. Besides having to connect with a 3 foot long cable, I had internet problems during every day of my stay. Only help I got was to call a tool free number. The TV in my room was a 14 in CRT from the previous century, and had horrible […] reception of the 8 channels (yes, 8 channels = premium tv description). After polity indicating this problem to the guest reception, I was only informed that they will inform management. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. The only thing executive in this hotel is their name. Pay less, and stay next door, there are a lot options, it worked for me. Læs mere

We were put in the older wing when we booked the junior queen suite, we found the room to be in poor condition, with peeling wallpaper, cracked doorframes, a noisy air conditioner, and older appliances and furniture. The pluses were the free parking and breakfast, and complimentary wifi, but the room and entire wing is in desperate need of some renos […] and updating. Would not book again until they renovate. The hotel itself was oddly planned. I was in town for business for a month and was put into a hotel room rather than a long term condo/rental that they have immediately above the front desk. The wallpaper in some of the main floor corridors has clearly seen better days. The rooms are spacious and the nice flat screen televisions are an ample distraction […] from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I was extremely disappointed at the size of the pool and the fact that the gym was located in a different building, both factors which prevented me from using them as much as I would have liked. Breakfast was alright, the staff were extremely attentive to your needs. The food was par for a buffet breakfast. The room service menu was simply over priced for any item which led me to go elsewhere for food at night. The front desk staff, I must say, are the best I've ever met. Friendly and most importantly genuine. There was a gentleman who was simply the best hotel employee I've ever met. Good features: close to Canada line and shopping, pool but hot tub in separate location, buffet breakfast, friendly staff, free WIFI and parking. We stayed in the older part of the hotel where rooms and bathroom were small.

Good location to Airport as there is a hotel shuttle ,plus only two blocks to walk to the Sky Train.

Pleasant and curtious reception. Room clean and comfortable Breakfast good and plentiful.

A good location, very close to the Millenium skytrain line and the airport shuttle was frequent and quick (a special thank you to the driver, who was very friendly, helpful and did a wonderful job). The room was beautiful and comfortable, albeit a little cold; it took the entire afternoon to warm it up but when it was time for bed, we had the same difficulty […] cooling the room down and got little sleep due to the warmth. This system needs to be adjusted so that it will respond to the thermostat more quickly. The staff in all departments were very friendly and did not hesitate to help whenever they could; I was disappointed that the Carver restaurant was closed on New Years Day; although I can understand why this was, it is (or at least appears to be) the main dining room for the hotel and eating dinner there was part of the reason I chose to stay there. We had to settle for the Keg instead, which was good, but my friend who was in transit was quite tired. Eating at the hotel's dining room would have been much more preferable. Other venues were enjoyable, the hot tub is a must for those who stay here; an onsite coffee bar (or at least counter) would be a good investment; I had to walk a block and a half in the cold to get a coffee at Starbucks in the Ramada. For what we paid for the room, I don't think I should have to walk and instant coffee just doesn't cut it. All in all, a nice hotel, wonderful staff, and I will definitely stay here again. Læs mere
