Right in the heart of downtown Solvang, walking distance to shops and tasting rooms, great breakfast, cute hotel, friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again- if you get a chance to book a cottage, they looked super cute!
The onkly thing I can say bad about this hotel stay is that I got the room in the front by the parking and right at the stairs where everyone goes up and down. Oh and the pipes are very loud.

Staff was great, breakfast was good, hotel was nice except for beds were old. I say beds because I needed to switch rooms after a bad nights sleep. Good location, friendly staff. Room was adequate although awkwardly set up for watching any TV.
once we got are room it was great. We were comfirmed a king bed ,but when we got there we were told it was a room with 2 double bed we call Hotel.com. and once they called every thing was changed we did get the king bed rooom.

We stayed one nite at the Wine valley inn...We had a nice stay. The cheese,and wine in the afternoon was nice. We talked to other guest and had fun. T he hotel was walking distance to everything. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Wine Valley Inn in Solvang, about an hour past Santa Barbara. The town is full of authentic dutch houses and buildings and is the perfect place for a getaway weekend. The Hotel was great with clean rooms, no hassle checking in or out and beautiful atmosphere around the hotel. "Overprice Hype!"
It was a great Vacation destination, but not worth the $$$ Spent. We went onward after this location, and were much Happier at the Holiday inn Express in Arroyo Grande, also booked thru this site. I was looking forward to soaking in a Bathtub...HA!!! "OK If Solvang Is Your Cuppa"
First room they gave us had a noisy broken fan, and generally was unpleasant. We fussed and they "upgraded" us to something better. They were gracious about it. We had to be in Solvang overnight, but it's very tourist-oriented and unless you must be there, I wouldn't recommend.

We were put in a doored-suite next to a loud group of four and the walls were paper thin. Other group had a tiny TV from '89 with a broken remote. Breakfast was pretty good. '

Wine valley inn and spa is just a side street away from the main street in solvang. Room was cute along with a comfy king size bed. When we first arrived staff was eager to help us. A nice, clean room for the price. Old, very small TV in my room but they say they are going to be replacing them with flat screens. The heater made quite a racket and maintenance said that was normal until they replace the unit. My wife and I stayed at Wine Valley Inn for a week, and we were extremely pleased with the hotel. Everything was better than expected. The complimentary breakfast was well-stocked, and real napkins and silverware were provided -- no paper plates and plastic forks! The evening wine samplings around the fireplace were classy, and a nice way to meet other […] guests. The rooms were spotlessly clean and surprisingly quiet. The grounds were well maintained and interesting. The location of the hotel was the best one could want -- right on the edge of downtown Solvang, with easy walking to everything in town. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas season stay ! The room was very nice and clean . The servive was wonderful . We stayed in the main part of the Inn and truely got the feel of the "Old Worlld Inn" Charm , (by the Bell Tower.) The Morning Breakfast was perfect and the Evening Wine was available . Perfect location included

Charming hotel in heart of Solvage, easy walking though town. We were on 3rd. floor with a fireplace, but was abit cold and water didn't get hot, but would stay again for the CHARM.
"Summer Destination"
We arrived in a downpour of rain and had to cross flooded courtyards and patios to reach our room. No protection anywhere, not even at the elevator. Room did not have wifi. Had a fireplace but no individual thermostat. Check in clerk was "having a bad day" and gave poor instructions to park and get to our room. "Loved the Wine Vally Inn!"
This hotel is beyond cute. It is perfectly located just outside of the heart of Solvang in a very cute and quiet location. My room was awesome. The price is well worth the experience. In addition, they do a wine/beer and cheese reception that lasts until 8:00pm, but when I asked for tasting at 8:25pm, they were happy to oblige my request - and the wine […] was very, very good. "Cute little spot"
The only two little things that were missing was soap in the room and cheese at the breakfast table. When we left they had put out new cheese. So I would say if you are picky and you want to have everything perfectly made then you should choose another place to stay. The comfort through was very good. And the staff was very friendly.

The rooms were clean and the hospitality was fantastic! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Solvang area or who just wants to relax while enjoying the wine country! I definitely will plan to regrace this establishment on our next return to wine country CA!
The room was neat and clean,maid service was timely, parking was outside our room, continental breakfast was normal with everything being fresh and well displayed.

I just spent 2 nights at this fine hotel. The service was great, the staff help arrange a wine tour of the valley at the last minute. The room was big but cozy. Location was great with ample parking out back. Would stay here again and I hope to do so soon!

We really enjoyed our room in the Wine Valley Inn because of its luxurious fittings, The shower was huge and there were two sinks. The only lack was any literature on the Inn itself which would have described the amenities provided i.e., times for breakfast, location of ice machine, etc. It was as if the room had just been completed and they had not […] gotten around to that yet. I had read some of the reviews about loud rooms and was a bit nervous, but we asked for a quiet room and were very pleased! We stayed in room 301 - on the 3rd floor with our 2 dogs (chihuahuas). While I'm sure there are fancier places to stay, we were very comfortable. The location is perfect as it tucked away at the end of Copenhagen Street but still […] easy to walk to all the shops, restaurants AND WINE ROOMS!!
