1. For some reason, I was placed in a handicaped room. This was very unpleasant as there is no closet and the door reminds me of something you'd find on a train. I had to ask to be moved. 2. I needed to get to the airport and asked the front desk which was best. They said take the TRE train. Gave me a map. Did not tell me that it only ran every 2 hours […] on Saturday. Perhaps a schedule with a map would have been helpful. Almost missed my flight. Really bad advice that should have been anticipated on their part. Læs mere

We were grateful to stay at a hotel that was in close proximity to the medical center. I was, however, very disappointed with the general overal condition of this Holiday Inn. I would expect better. The front desk staff were very nice. We decided to go to the restaurant for dinner and ended up leaving after waiting for 20 minutes for someone to attend […] to us. Our stay was very pleasant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very close to all our Volleyball tournament events. We really enjoyed our stay in Dallas. Overall pleased with hotel. Room was nice and clean, although we could not adjust temperature and it became stuffy at night. Beds were comfortable. A little difficult to get in and out of parking lot because of location. We were in town to see a concert and got back to the hotel late at night....the hotel must have been very crowded since the parking […] lot was quite full and the back of the hotel is not very well lit. Visit was for a wedding and then to do some sight-seeing. My 90 year old mom was in tow and had to make sure that she would be comfortable with accommodations. This hotel had all we needed for a great experience....beds were sooooo comfortable, we both overslept each day! Driving around Dallas can be a difficult task, but the hotel shuttle took us to […] where we wanted to go and with one phone call, came back to get us in no time at all. He was pleasant and shared some tricks on how to get to and from the downtown area. Also a great diner right next door! Only problem we had was that the ice machine on our floor was out of order, but going up to the next floor for ice was really not an effort. Architecture reminiscent of the 60's and recent renovations make this hotel unique and comfortable. Bathrooms are a little dated, but comfortable. 2-3 blocks northwest is a hospital and nice apartments, 5-6 blocks northeast is a lower income neighborhood. I went on a jog through both and felt comfortable. Located near a Dart transit stop.

The Hotel was new, nice, clean and convenient to what I was in town to do. It would have gotten a perfect score if there had not been one problem. The air conditioning was not cooling properly. When I checked in it was at a reasonable temperature but I like it much cooler when I sleep so I lowered the temperature and then I left. I was meeting friends […] for dinner and we actually went out that night so I didn't return to the hotel room until after midnight and for the first time noticed the AC was not cooling. At that late hour I was tired and did not feel like packing up all of my things and going downstairs to ask for a new room so I just made do with the situation. If it was not for this issue the hotel would have been perfect and would recommend it to others. I would however give this Hotel another chance since I understand things like this happen. Læs mere

The hotel, room, and bathroom were all clean. The beds were comfy. The staff was friendly. We stayed here because the hotel was nice and close to American Airlines Center. I would stay here again.

AMAZING STAFF! We were greeted by a friendly staff of smiling faces and warm welcomes! We chose this hotel for my boyfriend's birthday weekend and we're already making arrangements for a trip back. We got complimentary coupons for the hotel's restaurant and look forward to returning to use them <3

Overall my experience at this hotel was not a pleasent one. My family and i stayed on the 8th floor. The entire floor smelled like sewer. There are three elavators located in the middle of the hotel, and being on the 8th floor we needed to use them. I did not get in the elevator one time in three days that an employee did not get on inbetween the 1st […] floor and 8th floor and then exit 1-2 floors up/down. I litterally stoped at least one time each trip in the elevator. The rooms were small but the worst part was a sewer smell on the entire floor. I contacted the front desk to inform them, and 30 min later an employee shows up with a complimentary breakfast for 2. This was there solution. Nothing was done to alleviate the smell. The breakfast was no very good and there were several small flies on the fruit at breakfast. I will never stay at this hotel again. Læs mere

the room was cool, windows a little dirty, the breakfast was good. SLOW elevators and one was broken and there was a conference in the hotel, so slowed things down and no stairs to use.

There was a used coffee pod left in the machine and a giant hairball under the counter. I had to ask for my breakfast vouchers even after I paid for them. It's the little things that will probably have me look somewhere else next time we are in Dallas. Not impressed :-/

Free happy hour in the lounge with drinks and appetizers was a nice touch. No breakfast buffet (they have a restaurant you can order breakfast in), but the server brought me a bagel to go very quickly. Comfortable rooms, updated lobby.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Dallas Market Center was enjoyable. I chose this hotel because it was in the vicinity the uptown area and the price was quite reasonable. I selected a King Suite for my visit and the room was enormous. The room had a kitchenette, a separate sitting area along with flat screen television (TV), and vanity area outside the bathroom. […] The room, also, had a separate bedroom along with another flat screen TV and the actual room was hidden by two sliding doors. The Hotel is centrally located and provides very nice accomodations. The staff was very pleasant. The Original Market Diner is located next door with excellent food and atmosphere.

Hotel was okay - limited parking, not a lot of nearby restaurants. Hotel was clean. Thin walls was woken up several times the night I stayed by folks in the hallway talking loudly.

Well, I have stayed here before and that's why I booked this stay. Now I did have a problem with the original room (no AC) and I was moved (at 2 in the AM).....they did handle it in a professional manner and gave me a free breakfast pass and thru Hotels.com I recieved a discount on the stay, while I would have preferred no probs, they did everything […] they could to resolve it....I will stay there again Læs mere

It was a particularly busy night (lots of cheer leaders and football players) to check in and the staff was still very friendly, and helpful. They gave us their undivided attention when checking us in. This was on Thanksgiving night and I am sure that the staff would have liked to have been home with their families, but they were so nice.

We were in town for 5 nights. We were moved to 4 different rooms. The first night, the room we had reserved was not available due to mechanical problems with the the room type we had reserved. The 2nd night we were move to the type we had reserved. It was quite old and dated, but we were going to stay there, and unpacked. We came in late the next night […] and the room reeked of the stench of sewage. The security guard came up, took a sniff and called down immediately to have us moved. The only room available was an ADA room by the elevators. The 4th night, we were back in the room we had ordered on another floor, and it was significantly better. The most they gave us was breakfast vouchers. They offered a dinner voucher but by then, half the bar / dining room had been draped for construction. This is a very old hotel, and needs major renovation. There are also "women for hire" hanging around. Our last morning there, a guest had pulled up front to vacuum the glass out of his truck from his smashed window from the night before. Nice staff, but this property needs a major infusion of capital. Læs mere

This was my mistake, I had stayed here once before and was not pleased, but thought I would give them another shot. Well it will not happen again. Internet was very slow, no breakfast included, roach in bathroom. Just not impressed.There are other hotels in the same area that will get my future business.
