"Great rooms and service!"
Rooms very nice and very clean. The hotel staff are all very pleasant and helpful to deal with! An overall pleasureable stay.

Our stay at this motel was fine. The motel was clean and the location was fine. Typical BW breakfast. My only real complaint, and for me it's pretty big, is that the beds were pretty uncomfortable. Worst beds encountered on a three week vacation staying at comparable hotels. If you're not particular about beds, then this place is fine!
"Really comfortable space, except...."
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the Chinese restaurant outside the hotel makes great martinis! The gym was adequate for me as I only needed a treadmill, but probably not for those who are looking for weight training, as there were only a treadmill, an elliptical, and a bike in the small […] room. TV is available in the gym if that helps your workout. The rooms seem to be well insulated - we didn't really hear anyone above us or next to us. Big plus! The only complaint I have with the hotel is that the pillows were too big and stiff! All the pillows in the room were really "tall" and stiff, so my head and neck were essentially elevated at a 45 degree angle all night if I wanted to sleep on a pillow. It was quite a restless and disappointing night, especially when the bed itself was actually really comfortable, and I was so looking forward to a good night's rest! Læs mere

Great stay. Older but in great condition. Witnessed a beautiful wedding on site. Cookies at check in were a nice surprise. Would definitely go back!

convenient location right on the main highway
"BW in Oak Harbor - easy access to Whidbey Island"
This was our first trip to Whidbey Island and the Best Western was a good jumping off point for exploring the area. Our room was large and comfortable with a small balcony to enjoy the brisk clean air. The continental breakfast included more than one might expect - scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage along with the typical cereals, muffins and toast. […] No cream cheese for the bagels, though (a small quibble). The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a full service asian style restaurant on site but we didn't try it - too many local places to explore and not enough time. There were walking-distance stores, but not too far a drive (a mile or so) found several places to choose from. The best part about the hotel is its proximity to the rest of the island and surrounding communities. Great for exploring. Læs mere

"BW Plus in Oak Harbor, Washington"
I had a restless night because the suite I stayed in had a door to the neigboiring suite where people were laughing and talking loudly all night long. When I booked and cheked in, I wasn't told that that room is adjoined to another. For the price I paid I could' ve booked more comfortable hotel. .

Our destination was Anacortes, WA but we found more reasonable hotel rates in Oak Harbor. The drive to Anacortes, WA was very scenic and did not take long. The town of Oak Harbor is under construction and the resturaunts were fair there. The hotel was nice and upkept nice. We would stay there again.

Easy to locate from main roads. Good standard of hotel. Used by more than large group at a weekend for functions which did impact on breakfast particularly, but staff coped well.

Researched the local hotels through Google Earth and the images provided through Google Earth don't do this hotel any justice. Upon arrival I was shocked at how nice this hotel was. Cookies and popcorn were provided at check out. Hotel is reasonable located from downtown and nearby attractions. Room was nice, spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet, well kept, comfortable beds. Coffee was available all the time and cookies in the afternoon!
