Hotellet var ganske udmærket, morgenmaden var delvis ok hvis man kom inden tyskerne, som der var en del af. Aftensmaden kan ikke anbefales for dyr i forhold til hvad der bliver serveret.

Dejlig Hotel med beliggenhed nær havet, flot have med god pool. Stor service når vi ville ind til Sorento. God Mad. venlig betjening

Rigtig godt hotel med velfungerende aircon og en dejlig pool, hvor det ikke er tilladt at reservere liggestole med sit håndklæde, det betyder, at man altid kan få en liggestol, når man har lyst, selv i højsæsonen. Personalet er venligt og hjælpsomt og taler godt engelsk, stuepigen er helt fantastisk sød og venlig.Området er virkelig flot, men der er […] mange, mange turister i højsæsonen. Badestrandene er små og i bedste fald med grus, i værste fald med sten. Der er en meget lille offentlig strand, resten af strandene skal man betale ca. otte Euro for at benytte, så får man også lov til at låne en liggestol. Hotellet ligger ca. tre km fra Sorrento, som er en by, der er meget præget af turisme. Der er et utal af bedre souvienirbutikker, mange restauranter og så alm. tøjbutikker. I højsæsonen er der mange, mange turister i byen. Kystlinjen i hele området er virkelig smuk og gør, at man kan holde alle turisterne ud. Brug hotellets shuttlebus ned til byen eller en lokalbus, det er en lang gåtur. Læs mere

We stayed at Hotel Caravel in September. All the Staff were very helpful and friendly. We chose a superior room because I had seen reviews that the standard rooms were on the small side. We were given a triple room, a very good size, with a superking sized bed (and a single) a reasonable sized bathroom and a balcony with a veiw of Velsuvius. We had […] half board and the food and table service was very good. For dinner there was a choice of starters, mains and sweets which you choose at breakfast. It is a good walk to Sorrento but the courstesy bus runs fairly regularly and not too far to walk to the Circumvescia Train station to go to to main tourist spots. Læs mere

We stayed in Hotel Caravel the last week in July and first week in August 2011 and found it lovely and relaxing, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area and gardens were very clean and well maintained, with the pool cleaned every morning, plenty of sunbeds and parasols for everyone, there is also a sun terrace on the 4th and 5th […] floor. We were B&B and breakfast was plentiful and a wide choice to suit most, again staff lovely and the food was replenished frequently. We had lunch some days at the hotel and this was also good quality, we didn't have dinner so cannot comment. Would recommend this Hotel. Læs mere

Just got back from a holiday in Sorrento. The Hotel Caravel is excellent. We stayed bed and breakfast because we like to sample the local restaurants when on holiday. The room, facilities, staff and breakfasts were great. The only slight downside was the price of the drinks...4 Euro's for half a lager, i guess it's the same for most hotels though. Highly […] recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I was to re-visit the area. Læs mere

The Hotel Caravel offers an excellent standard of accommodation, friendly staff and good food. Set in a quiet residential area, the hotel represents very good value for money.

The hotel was average and fine for a quick overnight, but if you have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels, you will know that this hotel is definitely not on that level. ... It's an average hotel for an average price, just a place to crash at the end of the day.

hotel was spotless, staff very helpful and friendly with excellent english. our room was perfect and cleaners left it spotless every morning. pool area was lovely with plenty shade when needed. breakfast was very good and there were a no. of good restaurants very close by, a beautiful restaurant/cafe 2 mins walk away out on a cliff overlooking the bay, […] fab. the stroll to the town of sorrento was 15 to 20 mins as expected but views along the way made it worthwhile, hotel also provides regular shuttle bus if needed. i would definitely reccommend this hotel and in fact would stay here again Læs mere

Alert: This hotel is not in Sorrento but in neighboring S.Agnello and it's either a long hike, or a bus ride, into Sorrento. Otherwise the hotel is very pleasant and staff friendly and helpful, with the exception of very snooty (even by Italian standards) restaurant staff.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Cacavel in July. The facilities are very good and comfortable. But it was the friendliness of the staff that made the holiday a pleasure. We would recommend the Hotel to all.

We thought we booked a room with breakfast but they claimed we hadn't. They didn't try to resolve our problem. The personel at the front had very limited English and the hotel was mostly English speaking guests.We found the front desk not very helpfull and uncaring. Lovely hotel, in a very quiet location and really very very good service. The town of Sant Angello is about 15 minutes walk away from Sorrento and is really peaced out. There is lovely wine bar nearby and also a really good restaurant called Ciao Toto on the same street as the hotel. I would easily stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and found it to be a very enjoyable experience. The staff were all very helpful & pleasant and extremely efficient. We would certainly return!

The front staff was extremely helpful and friendly. A big thank you goes to the woman with the blonde curly hair at the front desk for helping me with all my questions. She was absolutely amazing and spoke very good english!! The room was a bit small, but very nice and clean. The A/C was acting up in the beginning but eventually it made the room nice […] and cool. The balcony was overlooking the pool and there was a turtle pond by the hotel entrance. Breakfast was good, complete with all the breads, meats/cheeses and fruits, and the wait staff was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located a mile or so away from the center of Sorrento, but the walk was nice. Down the street a bit was a beautiful view of the water, and there was a little shop to buy homemade pizzas and pastas. Overall we had a great time at Hotel Caravel and I recommend it to anyone looking for the beauty of Sorrento without the loudness of the town square. Læs mere

I stayed at the Caravel for a week at the start of July- we arrived in Sant Agnello late in the evening after a long day of travelling in the heat of the summer and were very relieved to find the hotel. Once we got there everything was excellent- the people at check-in were friendly and efficient and we went straight up to our room, which was air-conditioned […] and relaxed on the huge, comfortable bed. The hotel advertises a continental breakfast but this undersold it a bit as it was very generous, all-you-can-eat affair with hot food, cold meats and cheese, breads, cereals fruits etc that was a good start to every day. The pool was perfect for relaxing by in the afternoon after walking around in the heat all day and the staff were all very friendly and efficient- i would recommend the caravel to anyone- especiall families with young kids as they seemed very family friendly in particular Læs mere

We really liked staying at this hotel, it was clean comfortable and in a quiet road. The staff were helpful and had booklets etc about trains and buses which they gave you if you asked for them. The breakfast was a selection of continental and also some scrambled eggs and bacon - plenty to fill up on before a day's exploring! Hotel staff very very helpful, all english speaking, and the rooms are of a good standard. We asked for a balcony room, which we got however the balcony half looked on to the back of a wall!!! Loved this hotel. It was in a beautiful area 15 minute walk to Sorrento. The pool area was very nice. Recommend it for sure and would and will stay there again. Perfect price and location to go to Pompei, Sorrento, and the Amalfi coast.

a very nice hotel with very good staff who go out of the way to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel kept very well and pool is a great comfort on hot days. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in May 2009 and the directions by train were perfect. A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The Pool area was perfect after exploring Sorrento. The hotel is a good 30 minutes walk into Sorrento so we caught taxis quite alot so this is something to keep in mind. Turn right out of the Hotel and walk to the bottom […] of the Hill and eat at the restaurant overlooking the bay. The Lobster is delicious. The bar staff were very friendly at the Hotel and is a nice place to begin your evening or indeed end your evening. The bed in the Hotel (on 4th floor) were very comfy and views very pleasant. Excellent hotel. Staff extremely helpful. A little far from centre of Sorrento (20-30 min walk). There is a lovely bar/restaurant at the end of the road (250mtrs) which has outstanding views.

We stayed at this very nice hotel a week on July 2011 and we were very pleased with the room and the hotel service in general. We had only bed and breakfast. The breakfast was maybe more directed to British guests and we would have liked to see also some vegetables (tomatoes, cucamber, salads etc.) on the buffet, but otherwise it was just great and […] the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!! We also booked one excursion from the hotel and it was really great! Pool area was also super great and the shuttle bus to Sorrento worked really well!! Underbar pool, bra frukost, mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bussen gick till Sorrento 12 ggr per dag, passade inte tiden gick det utmärkt att gå de två kilomerterna. Vi hade ett frächt trebäddsrum på första våningen, med "lätt" havsutsikt, kommer man högre upp kan man säkert få kanonutsikt. Vi gick inte ner till stranden, cementbryggorna och priser […] avskräckte. Åkte istället båttur, med bad utanför Capri och valfritt stopp i Amalfi eller Positano. Læs mere

Hotel Caravel i Sant Angello - gångavstånd till Sorrento. Lugnt och skönt läge. Fin frukost och goda middagar med trevlig betjäning. Mycket nöjda! Rekommenderas!

Vi är mycket nöjda med detta hotell. Rent och fräscht. God frukostbuffé. En härlig trädgård med pool. Relativt lugn miljö Bra med egen parkering på grindförsedd gård.

Commercie commercie zouden uit de monden van de italianen nog mooi klinken ook.. wel woord nou niet.. Hotel prima, kon alleen wel letterlijk de andere kamers verstaan, zeer gehorige kamers. Wel keurig netjes ontbijt oke. Lunch en diner zijn niet aan te raden gewoon slecht te noemen. Een tratoria iets verder in de straat naar de zee toe is lekker en […] goed betaalbaar. Verder hebben ze er leuke supermarkten en veel gezellige winkels. Busje van het hotel naar het centrum is een genot en keurig verzorgd!
