perfect for the price

I booked the Microtel Suites in Pigoen Forge based on reviews from hotels.com. We were pleased and would stay with them again. The location was perfect for our visits to Wonderworks, and the Titanic museum. The rooms were very spacious, and clean. Both of the suites we booked needed sheets for the pull out sofas, but those were readily available at […] the front desk. I would think twice about putting an adult on the pull outs, as they were showing some wear, and seemed a bit lumpy, But for a small child, the sofas were plenty comfortable. Læs mere

Hotel room was clean. Not too bad for the money, and location. Location of the hotel is kind of difficult to get to as it's sitting up on a hill. Make sure to pull into the Krystal restaurant. Had a great stay, rooms were clean and service was good.

We enjoyed our stay. The motel was very clean and good friendly service. They offered a great breakfast. We will definitely stay again.

We definitely will stay in this hotel again if we go back to Pigeon Forge, TN. The price was good, room was clean, and I love the way the room was setup so our teenage son could have a little privacy on the other side of the bar. It was also very quiet so we had a peaceful sleep. I was disappointed that there was NO Gideon Bible in the room. This is […] the first hotel I've ever been in with no Bible. Please replace or make sure this room has one soon. That is my only complaint! The continental breakfast was also good, we received items that sometimes you might not have at other hotels. I've read some pretty harsh reviews on here and I just don't understand what people were expecting. Sure it wasn't a 5 star luxury hotel but that's not what you are paying for. It is reasonably priced and allows pets. It isn't perfect but it's clean and the staff was very helpful. This was the 2nd time we have stayed at this Microtel,and both times were very good experiences! Clean,comfortable,friendly staff and good location close to the action but far enough off the strip that you don't hear the street noise. I would recomend this to everyone and the price is very reasonable!

Barking dogs all hours. Not enough towels for when the hotel is booked. When they take your dirty ones they don't have clean ones to replace them. You have to wait for them to be laundered. They don't have blankets for pull out sofa. One guest was told "to take a chill pill" by the front desk attendant when he was asking for towels and blankets. The […] bathroom was FILTHY. Dirt on top of the backsplash, hair dryer, toilet paper holder... Hair on floor and in bath tub and hanging off of the hair dryer. I did not have airconditioning during my stay and I was promised some of my refund back and Hotels.com and Microtel Inn and Ste wormed their way out of refunding me.

this hotel was very poor. the rooms were not cleanit was an act of congress to get towels rags etc.had i not already paid and the hotel said i couldnt get a refund i would have left the first day. i seen them leave the breakfast milk sitting out for hours. just overall very gross place, i will not return.

This hotel needs to check the rooms for mold, especially the windows.The phone and the refrigerator did not work properly. I am very thankful that I had a cell phone. The best thing about this room was that the beds were comfortable . I definitely will NOTstay there again. I appreciate that this is one of the few hotels in Pigeon Forge that is clean and doesn't look like anyone has partied hard in it. It was a great stay and I would recommend it!

I had a great time at the Microtel! They were very friendly, and we had to call ahead to let them know that we wouldn't be there on time, and they said it was no problem. The beds were extremly comfortable. It was the one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I will be recommending this to anyone who goes to Pigeon Forge!

The only complaint I have is the free breakfast was ice cold ance the coffee tasted like it was a couple of days old.

First day the toilet wouldn't flush and the bath towels and wash rags were very poor quality. The entry light was going out and couldn't keep the room at a comfortable temp. The floors did not look like they had been shampooed in some time and the couch I wouldn't sit in it cause of looking dirty.

I took our youth group during a time the hotel was not packed, but well occupied. Usually getting our group in one room to do a group meeting is tough but we had plenty of space. We also asked for more towels and got them. Staff helped move our rooms to where they were located close to each other (since hotel.com does not automatically make that request). […] And the breakfast was decent (waffles were good - stay away from the hard-boiled eggs). Nice clean hotel. Hotel entrance sign could have been a little more noticable but overall a nice hotel. Great location.

We were under the impression that there would be a stove, oven, or some way to cook, but there was only a sink, microwave, and mini fridge.

This was my first stay in a Microtel and not a very pleasent one. The lobby had an odd smell when we walked in. The rooms were OK. Not the cleanest, but not the worst I have stayed in. The main problem was I got very ill with an upper respiratory promlem. I am highly allergic to mold and I believe that could have been the odd smell in the lobby and […] hall ways. I did hear the front desk person tell some lady who was complaining that the building inspector had been there. I hope they get the problem resolved. It was just not a good stay for me. Læs mere

it was a nice hotel but bed was old, good breakfest, make your own waffles, bagels and toast, cereal muffins, laundry room. friendly staff, kinda hidden behind krystal restaurant, if the bed would been newer I would given it 5 stars

The hotel was located close to a lot of restaurants and attractions. The room was fair, but the hallways and the reception area smelled like smoke. The breakfast was a BIG disappointment. The biscuits and gravy were cold, and there was not much assortment.

I sleep alot on the ground on western fire detail, comparing the room to the ground i would rather have slept outside.

I ordered 3 non smoking queen rooms and recieved smoking. I am an asthma patient, so this was not good. The front desk clerk was not very personable or friendly about this and stated there were no other rooms to switch us to, then a man after us was asking for a room that same night and she said they had some available. We got into town late, so we […] had no other choice but to stay. Our room was okay, except we noticed a blood stain from under our sheet on the mattress cover. It was an older stain, but we still laid down a bunch of towels to lay on. It's not a bad hotel at all, felt safe, but I was very unhappy on my stay with them. Læs mere

Getting to the entrance is a bit of a problem due to traffic in the area. Great location, right on the main street

Very comfortable stay. Entrance to motel somewhat difficult to see, but bright light is flashing near the entry way. Hotels.com did not mention the fee for pets to stay. Not the hotel's fault.

Good locations. clean room. I dont like all the dogs that are allowed in hotel.......

The only real negative to this property was the access from the main road. The narrow drive was marked only with a small sign. One had to make a 90 degree turn from the main road. The hotel was well situated off the main road

We recently stayed at this hotel with our 1 yr old son. The split room & kitchenette was great since we had him with us. But that was about the only positive we had. Our room had spider webs around the lights & toilet paper on the bathroom floor. Our bed sheets had hair all over them & when we asked for clean ones at 10pm, the desk receptionist told […] us she didnt have any & there was nothing she could do because she was the only one there... then called our room (while baby was sleeping) at 11pm to say she found some after we asked her not to call. The next day our toilet would not flush (at 1pm) & when we asked for a plunger, the receptionist looked all over the hotel for one & couldnt find one & she once again was the only person there. So she said we would have to use the restroom in the hotel lobby. Later that evening they did eventually find one in another room. Overall, these experiences were not the most pleasant stay we've had in a hotel. We wont stay here again when going back to pigeon forge. :( Læs mere

Simple, clean, good location. Except for a worn couch, no complaints for the amount I spent.

Was very pleased with the room, it was clean, bed was comfortable and was close to all pigeon forge attractions. It was up on a hill behind a Krystal restaurant and finding the entrance was tricky at first and making a left turn into the entrance was difficult at the busy times of the day on 441 but other than that the room was great for the price.
