It was fine, obviously not amazing, it's a cheap hotel. It was clean enough though and the bed was comfortable. No major complaints.

WE JUST STAYED THE ONE NIGHT, THE BED WAS A LITTLE HARD THE ROOM WAS CLEAN,NICE SHOWER. THE BREAKFAST WAS THE BEST...I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

On the way back from camping for a week at Crater Lake, we stopped to overnight and do some shopping in Portland. Shower was great although the bathroom was wide open to the room with the exception of the toilet. Great hotel for the price! Located near Clackamas Town Center, highway 205, medical services nearby. Gustav's German Restaurant is phenomenal, located right next door.

I stay at hotels every week for my job. I will say that this hotel is average and the price on hotels.com is well worth the stay at this hotel. The cleanliness and maintenance is well kept. I did not partake in the continental breakfast so I can't comment. I will add that getting to and from this hotel is a little difficult because of the one way street. […] The room I stayed in was very, very noisy from freeway traffic. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, however it had a stale smoke smell in it.

Everyone was cheerful and pleasant. We thought the room was quiet and comfortable. I got the newspaper each day that it was printed. We were happy.

Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The television was small but worked fine. The complaint I had was with the continential breakfast. Cold room opens to outdoors. Old bedspreads, tub did not drain easily. WiFi thready. Business center, no reliable printer, one room gym, no free wts., 2 of 3 cardio did not work.

The freeway noise made it hard to sleep. The breakfast was pretty good. For the price we paid, I expected something a little nicer.

I booked a room at the Clackamas Inn because the Courtyard Marriott and The Monarch were booked. My non-smoking room had cigarette butts right outside the door, ALL of the TV channels were fuzzy, the bed was hard as a rock, the pillows were 1/2 size and the traffic noise was horrible. Never again.

The rooms were clean, with room to move around. I was vacationing with four kids and was given a big bathroom, that was a very nice add, there was heavy drapes at the window, which was, also, great, it helped keep out the highway noise, The staff during the week was very helpful, however, the weekend staff could use some classes in customer service. The […] breakfast was well balanced, both during the week and on the weekend, now again the week day staff made sure, breakfast food was refilled in a timely manor, over the weekend, we had to ask for dishes to be refilled. This is a good size hotel and the dining area is small with to short of hours for breakfast. An extra hour would have been helpful. On Sunday morning we had no water. Now I know that problems happen, but I was not offered another room for a shower or anything else unit I checked out or was I offered any thing for my inconvenice. By the time I checked out, I was packed and ready to go home and again the staff was not very friendly. If I were traveling during the week to this area, I would gladly stay at this hotel, but I would think twice before staying weekend days. The hotel was close to shopping, easy to find, overall, for the price I paid, I got my monies worth, but I think I still should have been given a free night with my next stay for not having water on Sunday morning! Convenient, consistant and customer service is very good. We stay here every time we are in town. The pet friendly rooms are nice and aren't the worst rooms in the place. They are clean and close to the dog run which is nice in a city. We had a great stay.

The hotel was easy to get and was located near everything, resturant ,shopping all with in walking distance. The room was very clean and pleasnant, check in was quick and the staff friendly. Had the chanch to use the pool and the area was clean as well as the pool. I will stay again.

I have stayed at this motel on numerous ocassions in the past and was always very happy with the accomodations but this time was certainly less than I had hoped! This time I was in a wheelchair and the rooms for handicapped patrons was quite inaccessable - down hill in the middle set of rooms which made it fine going down but coming back to the car […] was a real effort. Then, there was the problem of getting the luggage to and from the room because the handicapped parking was a distance from the room and again down and back up the hill. The room was not very clean with a terribly stained carpet that made one worry about what you might be sleeping with! The outside condition of the building was quite delapidated and I should have looked more closely at that before checking in. The first room I was given was so small and crowded I could not move in my chair so complained to the front desk and was moved to another room. I was still not very happy with that as I had ordered a wheelchair assessable room and I could not get in or out of the shower safely. This motel needs a lot of work and I would not recommend it to anyone until or unless this work was done. I will not be staying here again unless they "clean up their act"!!!! Læs mere

Especially if you have a reason to be near Kaiser Permanente hospital, this is a good place to stay.

Great little hotel, but the BING map directions were completely wrong. I'd suggest double checking the directions by calling the office first. BING isn't likely to change or update their info....

While the Managers were very nice the two dead bugs in the bathroom, as well as the stale smell was a turn off. Most likely the room had not been used for a while and that is probably why it was in the shape it was in. Kind of disappointing but it was convenient. Will try another hotel in the same area next time.

I stayed at Clackamas Sunnyside Inn many years ago, the great experience I had then is what brought me back again and once again I was very pleased with my stay and will continue to stay at this location every trip I make to Portland. YOU should as well, the rates are great, clean rooms, free breakfast and wonderful staff!!!

I hae sayd at this motel for a number of years. It's convenience of location is great, close to unlimited shopping. I will continue to stay at this motel when I am in th Clackamas area.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. I liked the price ...about half of what you'd pay for the same thing in a "name brand" motel and just as nice, in fact, better than some more expensive ones I've stayed in. This is my regular motel now.

Actually the hotel is a Howard Johnson.Staff very nice and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. The hotel is on a oneway street so a bit complicated to find if you pass the street cut through hospital. Free shuttle to Mall and train.

The only bad thing was that it is located on a one way street. Once you figure out the location craziness, it was great! The freeway traffic is pretty loud also.

Hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. Very close to shopping and dining. Hotel staff very pleasant and accomodating. I was very worried because reviews I've read said it was next to the freeway and noisy. Noise level was not an issue at all. Surrounding area was perfect for a nice walk. The only issue we had was that we were given a non-smoking room […] (and it was clearly marked as such on the outside of our room door) but the room smelled smoky, ashes were found in the bathroom and cigarette right outside of the door. We informed the person and the front desk and she apologized profusely and offered another room. Talk about customer service! We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in Clackamas. We stayed in this facility three years ago when it was a Best Western. It is now a Howard Johnson's facility and has gone downhill since we were last there. The front office staff was friendly and took care of our issues in a timely and professional manner. We stayed six nights while attending a school reunion and other family events. The continental […] breakfast was boring in that the same food was offered every morning. There was no variety. The security light outside our room was burned out and never replaced. The cleanliness of the room was suspect. Dust balls behind the toilet door and in the corner by the room air conditioner/heater were there when we arrived and still there when we checked out. The fiberglas tub had been repaired and had a low spot about halfway back. Consequently, water pooled there and did not drain. There were two large spots of mold under the rim of the sink in the bathroom. I did advise the staff of those as we were checking out. I had not noticed them until the morning of our departure. That probably explained the moldy smell in the bathroom. My family and I will not stay at that facility again. Læs mere

First room toilet didn't flush,, moved us to the top floor, tried opening the blind and it fell off ,room to be a non-smoking room, but was very smelly like at one time it was used for a smoking room and they didn't change out the carpets etc. Traffic noise was very loud all night. Breakfast on Sunday only went until 9 am, should go longer we wanted […] to sleep alittle late and did not get to the breakfast in time. Hotel needs to be updated and more lights put in the rooms, felt very dark. We will not be staying with them again. Læs mere

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was a comfortable and quiet place to stay. We appreciated being able to bring out little dog who liked the special pet area very much.

I was traveling with my father, who is in a wheel chair. I requested an ADA room, which has never been an issue in the past. When we went to check in, they tried giving us a room that had steps to it. When I asked about the ADA room, I was told they didn't have any available despite our confirmation specifially stating it was to be an ADA accessable […] room. This hotel used to be a Best Western and I stayed there many times over several years and was always pleased with the service. About a year ago they changed hands and became a Howard Johnson, and the service went down hill. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I woud no longer reccomend it to anyone. We ended up getting a room at the Monarch Hotel down the street, and I was nothing but impressed with their service and quality of room. Læs mere
