As seasoed International travellors we where very happy with the standard of this hotel especially given the price. However we have nothing to compare it with in the USA as we always have use timeshare accommadation only on previous visits. Loved the location which was in easy walking distance to everything. It was a nicer place than I expected. The location was fine and the walls a little thin (we could easily hear hall noise and our neighbors next door), but the beds were nice, the room spacious and the room clean.

The front desk guy that checked us in was very rude! Never made eye contact and acted like we were interrupting up. Made a comment about my husbands sunglasses matching his IPhone cover which happened to be coincidental but he made it sound insulting...no reason for it...I don't know what his problem was but from now on I will go back to Holiday Inn […] Exp...shouldn't have made the change anyway. For the price it was great. I'll def come back. The service was great. Short walk down town and not to bad of a walk to fishermans wharf. View from room was nice from patio. Saw lush green trees.

This was a first visit, despite having a local favorite. The staff was wonder; warm and helpful. The overall value has this hotel on my return list.

The room was lovely ... very spacious...Great Bed... The free parking garage was great. The breakfast was good, nothing elaborate, but enough to get you going. We ate lunch and dinner out so we didn't need a heavy breakfast. An added plus ... GREAT WEATHER ... sunny w/ clear blue skies. My only complaint was that it was sort of a "noisy" hotel ... thin walls or something. We could hear our nextdoor neighbor snoring. (Fortunately I had earplugs!) Shower was a tight squeeze with not much water pressure. With all that being said, it was comfortable, clean, convenient, and yes, we'd stay there again.

Hotel was wonderful. Staff was excellent. Rooms were beautiful and bed was very comfortable. Lots of room...didnt feel cramped like most hotels. Had free parking in attached decks which was nice. Restraunts in walking distance. Very easy location to drive to main sights. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was walking distance to downtown and the wharf. Many good restaurants close by and the wharf was a short casual walk away.Staff was very helpful in recommending sights and places to eat.Hotel and room were clean.Continental breakfast was very basic but there were many eating places close by.In the future we plan on staying at this hotel  […] again. We have stayed in this hotel during one night. Friendly people, location is o.k. The room was a little bit small, but clean and tidy. However they should improve the sound insulation, from internal noise as well as external!

Very convenient location. We walked to fishermans wharf from the hotel. I recommend staying on the 3rd floor. We had a 1st floor room and could hear every step the people above us made. Also, beware, rooms do not have A/C. Luckily, the weather was nice and cool when we went.

clean simple rooms, nothing fancy, spacious room. Nothing to complain about here except the price, a little higher then I would expect to pay for this type of quality, but thats what you get in Monterey. Comparable prices would get you similar hotels, or Inns. Our stay was just fine, would stay again if a nicer hotel wasn't available cheaper.

Easy access to trolley to Cannery Row and Fishermans Wharf. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location is convenient - only 1.2 km from the Fisherman's Wharf (15 min on foot). The neighbourhood is quiet and decent, and the hotel staff is nice too. Convenient underground parking with the lift access. They provided a baby crib for us at no charge. hotel was clean, tv small, no a/c. room was hot when we arrived and shower water pressure was horrible. i would not stay there again

Very nice, clean and comfortable and located very close to downtown and a beautiful park. Great for an after dinner walk. Free Breakfast was simple but good and just enough to get us going for the day. Only maintenance issue was the sliding door latch was broken and they had inserted a bolt lock and a stick to secure( cheesy but effective).

Very nice hotel -- comfy beds, bright & airy, underground parking.

Stayed in this hotel for one night only on our way to san francisco. the hotel is near to the main town centre and bay area, Modern hotel, friendly staff, clean and well maintained. Downside,the walls are like paper. We could hear the couple next door chatting to each other (just a normal conversation, not shouting) and then had to listen whilst they […] made out with each other at the beginning of the night AND early in the morning. so beware if you use this hotel, your every sound can be heard next door Læs mere

We stayed here overnight on our way to San Francisco after spending a day driving the Big Sur. I wish we had stayed an extra night and dropped one night from our stay in SF. The hotel is clean, comfortable, well located and easily to find. It's Best Western, so you know what to expect and it's well priced. Two double beds (Queen or King, I can't remember), […] but they're big! Cable TV, WiFi, plenty of towels, soaps, etc in the bathroom. The hotel was a 10/15 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf where there are plenty of places to eat. Breakfast in the hotel is self service in the conference room; cereals, toast, pastries, bagels, eggs, all available as well as plenty of coffee. Parking is underneath the hotel, so you have to drive down a slip road beside the hotel and drive in the parking, but it was no hassle and saves space. I only mention it because we had been used to parking outside the room or on a surface car park, up to now. This was a lovely hotel, midway in our second week of a two week visit to California. The hotel was very nice, clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was also good, it is about 4 blocks from the downtown area that has many shops and restruants. The only problem we had was that the walls were extremely thin and you could hear everything that was going on next door and the room upstairs.

I'd expect more for what I paid, but overall everything was ok.

The hotel is terribly hard to find even with mapquest. They advertise as being walking distance to Cannery Row, but only if you're under 40 or are a marathoner. The room itself was good and not overpriced. However, I will be looking at other lodging through your website on our next visit to Monterey.

Great place to stop and plan, good parking and maps, Monterey is so nice and I even went to Yosemite. All perfect

Das Hotel ist nichts besonderes, aber der Preis ist für die Gegend ok gewesen. Man kommt noch zu Fuss ins Zentrum. Zimmer war groß, aber schon was älter und schlicht gehalten. Dafür war es ruhig und man konnte gut schlafen.

cerca del centro de monterey, wifi en las habit, desayuno normal y parking libre, mucho mas barato que alojarse en carmel que queda solo a 20 minutos de coche
