Udmærket hotel, urimelig dyr morgenmad, 18 Euro. Kan dog gøres til halvpris ved at udfylde et "membercard" til kæden.Velbeliggende i forhold til Münchens seværdigheder, venligt personale.

Well situated close to the Central Rail Station, nice rooms, helpful front desk, excellent breakfast table (extra cost), fine indoor parking (at a cost), an acceptable evening restaurant (mid-range prices), but a few blemishes spoil the picture a bit. I had initially ordered two nights, but en route I decided for an extra night and phoned the hotel. […] Front desk was very helpful, and it was arranged. It turned out, however, that they had put us on a floor with a bus-load of very noisy young Italians (as young people can be), and me and my wife (in our fifties) had to endure their shrieks and yelling until late in the evening. In my opinion, this was an act of poor judgement on behalf of the hotel. At check-out, I paid the bill with my credit card. Three days after my coming home, I received an invoice from the hotel, charging me the extra night (which they apparently forgot at check-out). Of course they will have their money, but the letter did NOT contain a covering letter with an apology or explanation, which - again - in my opinion constitutes poor judgement, if not plainly bad manners. Nonetheless, TRYP Munich is not a bad choice; the staff is accommodating and helpful, but management apparently have a few basics to learn. Læs mere

A very accommodating staff and a very clean room. I chose it for its location and it did not disappoint. It was the only hotel I stayed in which had coffee making facilities which does make a difference. Very chic and very modern but some way away from the sights- it took forty minutes to reach the centre.

Great hotel and will stay there again. Only criticism is, is that the breakfast was too expensive (15 Euro's). For that reason ate elsewhere for half the price, otherwise great place to stay.

Very nice Hotel situated within easyb walking distance of Rail Station. Easy access to city centre on tram. Nice coffee shop close to Hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful.

A really good hotel, very clean, spacious rooms and reasonably priced. Located 5-10 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof, it was easy to get to and also out to the sights. The staff were first class, very helpful and attentive. The only problem, and this was hopefully just a one-off, was that they had completely underestimated the staffing level required […] in the restaurant on the Sunday evening we stayed. We waited an age for our food and eventually gave up on the dessert. They did however listen to our grievance and gave a generous discount. A good clean hotel with excellent customer service, very helpful staff! The food in the restaurant is not brilliant but there's plenty of restaurants nearby and your very close to the centre and all the restaurants. Small Gym + sauna etc with treadmill which is great for a run in winter.Very pleased.

on picture shown twin and queen size beds- in reality there are two twin beds; there was no heating in main room; paid internet (some 13 E for two days), no breakfast, 4 tea bags + 2 coffee bags and only 2 sugars (everything of bad quality); poor info about surrounding zone (restaurants, shops)

Hotel was easy to find just ten minutes walk from the main train station. Hotel was clean but not overly impressive just good enough for somewhere comfortable to stay. WiFi was charged at 9 Euros for 24hr use, which is very expensive and might be better and cheaper to arrange data roaming with your cell phone provider.

Decent hotel near to the centre. Very close to the Hauptbahnhof cental station so excellent for accessing transport links. Reasonable price.

Hotel was very nice. Received a warm welcome. Situated well and very near the marinaplatz where the christmas markets were. Overall a very nice three day trip. The only let down is ask for a none smoking room before going leaving for your trip or on arrival if your a none smoker. Very pleased and very christmasy.

My wife and I used this hotel for a Christmas market mini break. It is conveniently situated just a two minute walk from Therieswise underground station. Octoberfest visitors would also find this location very convenient as it is located only a five minute walk from the event site. Check in was quick, friendly and efficient. our travelling companion […] had a problem with his bedroom as it reeked of tobacco, but he was quickly allocated an alternative. We didn't use the restaurant for either breakfast or dinner, but the lunchtime menu was great value at under 10 Euros. The bar was small and comfortable, while the room was clean, spacious and comfortable as well. As our room overlooked the main street, there was occasional noise from the passing traffic but this was only a minor irritation. Having read previous reviews I was slightly wary of booking this hotel but was very pleasantly surprised - the reception staff were very friendly on arrival and allowed us to check into our room several hours early. Our only complaint was we ate in the restaurant on our first evening and whilst the food was excellent the service was very slow. The rooms […] are not huge but are very clean and modern. All of the staff spoke good English (a great help) and were friendly and helpful. The place feels a bit 1980s but everything was in working order and was clean, so you can't really complain. Minor gripes with the shower which was a bit awkwardly positioned and fiddly to use, while the bathroom vents let in the smell of smokers in other rooms. You seem […] to get that everywhere in Germany though, so it's tough to criticize the hotel for it - everyone smokes everywhere, which is fine if you're a smoker... Not the greatest of locations. Very close to the main train station which is great, but the surrounding area is pretty rough. There are one or two nice places to eat if you don't mind a bit of a walk, but don't expect too much from the immediate surrounding area. You can get from the airport to the hotel door in about an hour, using the S-bahn and then walking the final ten minutes. Læs mere

Excellent hotel accomodation. Room spotless and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. We were in a room overlooking the courtyard so was very quiet. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. Only negative comment is that we were provided with one teabag between 2 and it wasn't restocked for our second night […] which was poor!! This Hotel is very close to the railway station, thus making it ideal to reach via the train from the airport. The staff were very helpful. We ate in the resteraunt and had an exceptionally good meal.

One stop from München main station. Only few mins walking from S bann station to hotel. Room is pretty clean. They also have €9.95 buffet at 12:00-14:00.

I was very disappointed with the hotel and stay overall. Firstly, having requested a triple room, I was surprised to find we had been squashed into a double room with a tiny camp bed pinned by the window. On complaining, the hotel then 'upgraded' us to a superior room which was slightly more spacious. Generally, the room was ok, but the cleaning was […] not of a good standard. We even arrived back one day to find the cleaning towels used by the staff left thrown on the floor. The free in-room wi-fi was not given to us since the hotel said we had been 'upgraded', and generally the cleanliness of the hotel in common areas was disappointing for a 4* hotel. Since this was just a short weekend stay during the Oktoberfest period, the location was pefect, but I would not consider this hotel under any other circumstances. Læs mere

This is a great place to stay especially for the Oktoberfest! Just blocks away from the big event and the parade on the second day passes right out fron of the hotel! The staff was super and helped with all our questions. Walking distance to just about everyting!

I needed a hotel near the Oktoberfest grounds--and this was super close! Unfortunately, it's not in a great part of the city and the cleanliness of the lobby (given my stay was during Oktoberfest) was non-existent. I walked through broken beer bottles to get to the registration desk to check-out early in the morning--the desk clerk did nothing about […] it as a waited for my taxi. I've seen TRYP Hotel before in other countries, but first time staying at one in Munich. Was there for what else? Octoberfest. The location was great. It was between the trainstation and Octoberfest fairgrounds. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was large. I would stay here again. But i would ask for a room near the elevator […] because we had the room way way in the back and it's a bit of a walk. Læs mere

Hotel is mainly suited to business travelers so there isn't anything overly outstanding about this hotel and is probably a little dated in comparison to other newly built versions of this chain (and others). Great staff. No free wifi. Most hotels give one bottle of water free in the room and they charge €7 for a bottle of Evian in the room. A real rip off.

This hotel has a great location, a block from the U bahn station and two or three blocks from the Strassenbahn and Hauptbahnhof. It would be nice if they would improve the wireless signal in the rooms, since I could only use wireless in the lobby. On the other hand, it was pleasant to sit there.

Clean modern hotel in a good location, handy for restaurants trains and local transport. Helpful staff, ecellent buffet lunch. The only downside was the lack of bedroom air conditioning on an unusually hot weekend in September
