Vi syntes rigtig godt om vores ophold på Harmattan. Vi boede der i 7 nætter, og der var rent og pænt og hyggeligt. Der var dog temmelig lydt og morgenmaden var lidt ensformig, men der var god kaffe og altid friskpresset appelsinjuice, så det var til at leve med. Værtsparret var søde og hjælpsomme. Stedet var dog ret svært at finde første gang, og taxaer kan ikke køre i de smalle gader, så et bedre og mere detaljeret kort på hjemmesiden vil gavne de kommende gæster. Adressen svarer nemlig ikke til det der står på skiltene, hvis der da stod noget man kunne forstå. Værten havde et lille kort der viste vej fra Djeema el Fna. Det ville være godt at vise.

Når man ankom til Riaden, var det som at træde ud af det kaotiske Marakesh, og ind i en drømme verden - det eneste man kunne høre var små fugles sang og vinden i blomsterne. Morgenmaden var god og mere end tilstrækkelig - god kaffe og mynte the, til en billig penge.

Riad Seduction er en hotelmægler i Marrakech. Vi blev venligt modtaget af mægleren og ført af de små gader til Riad Les lauriers Blancs ved Bab Dukala, hvor vi skulle bo. Det havde vi aldrig fundet selv. Les Lauriers Blancs er et meget hyggeligt og romantisk sted med en højt serviceniveau, udmærkede værelser, god mad og en tagterrasse der er virkelig hyggelig. "Udemærket ophold"
Generelt set et helt ok hotel. Dejligt ved poolen, bortset fra at denne ikke var opvarmet (synes der står opvarmet på deres hjemmeside) og den var derfor ikke til at bade i. Værelset ok, bortset fra at nøgler ikke virkede hver anden gang og safetyboksen heller ikke virkede. Minibaren kølede ikke ordentligt. Man skal være opmærksom på at alt koster ekstra […] - en ret stor ekstraregning ifa skat og afgift. Det koster at benytte legepladsen - eksempelvis 100MAD for 10 minutter på trampolin. Rstauranterne på hotellet er enormt dyre og forholdsvis ligegyldig mad - og det er virkelig irriterende når man har børn med. Og det er ærgerligt at man ikke kan købe noget let mad uden det koster en krig. Skal man nyde en øl, sodavnavd eller juice ved poolen er det meget dyrt. Har man børn med er det klart at anbefale at bo udenfor Medinaen og der er et helt ok hotel at bo på. Læs mere
"You get what you pay for!"
This hotel was wonderful. Excellent service in the reception and staff, however, the same cannot be said for the staff around the pool area where you had to wait and wait before getting served. Also, the choice of food could be better and perhaps a tad more international. But all in all, for what I paid this hotel is by far one of the best deals ever. "Overpriced and Rundown"
After arriving from a long flight and booking and paying in full on hotels.com the reception then went on to charge me an "Extra Tax" despite my booking including taxes. This was first of many hidden charges at the hotel. Including overpriced drinks, expensive and bland food at the restaurants and charges for the Hotel Sauna. The room heater was broken […] and bathroom sink filled with ants. Run down and tired hotel. Not worth the bargain price Hotels.com charge as you will pay several times more once you are there. "Average hotel with a lot of potential"
The staff here are very nice. They smile at you, take care of your requests, except for the front staff who need a loooot of training as some of them lack the smile and the Moroccan hospitality: some of them act like they are doing you a favor when you ask for something..loose the Moroccan attitude of service and substitute it with the Moroccan attitude […] of hospitality and fun. A comfortable hotel with excellent facilities (especially the swimming pool) and conveniently located to explore Marrakech. Exquisite gardens full of scent particularly at night. Also an opportunity to hear Morrocan music in the Berber Tent "bar" during the evening...first class ! Our only grumble...we would have liked to have had a tea making facility […] in our room. "Good value for the money"
I stayed there for a few days in August 2011. The outside portion of the hotel is fabulous. However, the room is nowhere near what I was expecting for a 5 stars hotel. More like a 3 stars. Breakfast was great and room service decent. Staff good.

Very relaxing stay following a few nights in a Riad in the Medina. Fantastic pool and environment. A little mix up with the bill, some con artist putting a dinner on our room number, but all dealt with on the spot at check out. From the moment we arrived at this hotel we knew we'd made the right choice. Having visited Marrakech before and stayed in a Riad we were looking this time for a relaxing hotel with a nice pool area and grounds and a good breakfast and this place ticked all the boxes! Rooms were spacious and clean. No balconies - ground floor rooms did generally get […] a terraced area - but sliding doors to allow plenty of air in and sit with a drink looking out at pool and gardens. Mini bar contained water and a few other soft drinks. We never bought anything from there but the small fridge came in handy. Flat screen TV had the standard BBC World News, CNBC, Bloomberg and also a Polish music channel, Viva Breakfast was of decent quality. Plenty of choice of pastries, cheeses and fresh fruit with a few hot bits like beef sausages and sauteed potatoes. Omelettes made to order were tasty - the lady serving was efficient rather than friendly but I did get a smile and a 'bon appetit' by day four!!! Also being served were some fantastic fruit juices dreamt up by a Michelin starred chef - our favourite was the Mango, Chilli and Lime! Location decent, in the hotel zone, a 25 minute walk to either Place Jemaa El Fna or the heart of the new town, 5 minutes by taxi for about £2 by day or £3.50 by night. 10 minute walk to Comptoir restaurant (excellent) or Silver nightclub (OK), 5 minutes to Caruso (well priced cafe) We didn't drink in the hotel bar or nightclub during our stay. We felt the prices were higher than they needed to be but ladies night on Tuesdays would lessen this somewhat if you're a couple We did eat in the restaurant by the pool on a couple of occasions. Even though the prices here were higher than many in Marrakech we didn't feel they were unwarranted. The burger for under a tenner was a good size and of good quality and the pizzas for about 7 quid were very good. "Excellent location to enjoy this fascinating city."
The location of the hotel is ideal - in a very quiet, recently built, safe area with all the local amenities we needed. There are shops, cafes, restaurants and banks within a few minutes walk. The tourist bus picks up right outside and the Medina and town square (a must see) are a straight forward 15 min walk. A taxi will cost 20DM (about £1.70), always […] arrange with the hotel guys as they tell the drivers the price and it is handy to have the exact money. The hotel grounds are fantastic - the gardens beautiful with lovely aromas. The pool area is very good with all facilities very well maintained. The room is good, with very good service. The hotel works very hard to ensure you have a good holiday and seemed always willing to help with anything. The city is incrediable to visit - the historic, cultural and geographical mix in something I have never witnessed before and found totally fasinating. "Amazing pool"
We loved lying next to the pool on those 33 degree days. Hotel restaurant was a little expensive (£50 for 2 courses for 2 ppl and a beer). If you don't want to eat in the square, just turn to the right out of the hotel and go straight ahead. there are a few cheap but good restaurants there.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights for a short break to ascape to the cold UK winter. Maybe was the good weather 26C mid of february,I cannot fault this hotel! Booked this hotel thinking we were assured of Le Meridien quality , we were dissapointed. The hotel has a very worn and dated look. The bedroom in perticular was poor ( eventhough we opted for a de luxe) with a general feel of a hotel stuck in an eightys time warp. In a really nice area but still near to the Medina (only a short 3 Euro taxi ride or a leisurely stroll). An older hotel but with very large comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens and swimming pool area - flat screen tv and WIFI in rooms. Botles of water provided nightly. Bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, roses, chocolates in room. Good hot and cold […] selection at buffet breakfast. Hotel decorated for Christmas (which was unexpected). Only downside was limited restaurant food selection in the evenings. All the staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. "Meridien Marrakech- tired but with nice gardens"
Firstly, this hotel is categorically not 5 Stars. On the plus side the rooms are quite big, the gardens and pool are very nice and well looked after. Sadly the service and conditions of the rooms falls well short. Our room would like nice in a photo but it had been painted sloppily, black mould in bathroom and scratched Walls and furniture. I couldn't […] care less about this except when it is a Meridien 5 star it just isn't acceptable Breakfast was a real farce. Lots of hopeless staff who barely speak English or French. Buffet looks nice but all cooked food, especially eggs, were of a very low standard. Powdered scrambled eggs are not good enough. Insult to injury is the utterly absurd pricing. You can charge more than a 5 star London hotel for drinks if you serve them with a five star service but not when you don't. It is kind of non-sensical to also ask 120 dirhams for a burger and 90 dirhams for an ice cream. Finally any 5 star hotel who does not ask you how your stay was at check out deserves 0 for service. "Well worth a visit"
Great value for money, caring staff. My wife and I stayed on the 19th Sept 09 with our oneyear old son. This hotel offers good value for money. They provided us with a travel cot for our son (lit looked like a laundrey basket we were a bit concerned at first but it was clean and comfortable for him he loved it actually. The room was clean and comfortable. […] with a 32" LCD TV. very friendly staff. you can walk into the city if you like or get a cab which should cost arounf 20 dirhams. Food was great buffet style in the evening or you can book other resteraunts. The grounds are big, well maintained and superb. Nice fitness center and tennis courts. You will not be disapointed. I do not know why we got bad service from the hotel but we may not have been "white" to be able to get what we paid for. We got a room that was cold, without view and toilets that did not work. We had to complain 3 times before we got the room we paid for and that was a bad start start on our holiday in Marrakech. The hotel staff where not helpfull […] and unplesent. "Veldig behagelig - bor der gjerne neste gang!"
Det kan være deilig å komme seg ut fra det hektiske livet inne i Medinaen, derfor er dette hotellet, litt utenfor, et svært godt boalternativ. Deilig frokost, veldig fint bassengområde og en grei spasertur inn til sentrum (eller en kort og rimelig taxitur unna). Anbefales!

Le jardin est toujours aussi beau, de jour comme de nuit, les bougies et lampes confèrent à cet hôtel un charme particulier; Les chambres sont spacieuses mais la salle de bains a vieilli au fil des ans. Dommage car SOFITEL est nettement plus proche de sa clientèle et reflète bien plus l'esprit à la française et à la marocaine ou la qualité de l'accueil […] est à 150 % . Avons remarqué que l'accueil est juste poli (réception, change, petit déjeuner). Dommage que le toilettes soient dans la salle de bains, ce qui est pénalisant. Un point en moins : la chambre allouée était située juste à côté de la buanderie du personnel de l'hôtel : bruits en soirée et début de nuit perçus PLUS le bruit des discussions du personnel. Vi bodde på hotellet i fyra nätter och var supernöjda. Det stora poolområdet är jättehärligt att hänga vid på dagarna och personalen är mycket serviceminded! Det finns tre restauranger, en italiensk, en marockansk och en crossover som serverar allt från pizza till caesarsallad och hamburgare. En oas att vila upp på efter en intensiv resa med buss och taxi i landet. Hotellet har allt man behöver för några lata dagar, bra pool, hyfsat god mat, välfungerande luftkonditionering och stora fräscha rum. Lyxkänsla. Para quem já conhece hoteis desta cadeia, considero um hotel de 4 estrelas. Bem localizado, numa zona tranquila dista cerca de 25 min a pé da Medina e dos Souks. Um pouco longe do centro. Bonitos jardins, bela piscina, pessoas simpáticas. Restaurantes bons, servem muito bem, mas cuidado... É mesmo muito caro!!! No seu todo, este hotel tem uma boa relação […] qualidade - preço. El hotel en gernal estupnedo, todo muy limpio, y los empleados muy atentos. El desayuno bastante completo lo unico malo que las habitaciones son un poco sosas, pero el baño es enorme.... La verdad muy satisfechos

Cet hôtel bien situé offre un accueil qui doit être améliorer en terme de convivialité, et de service en général. Il aurait fallu un peu plus de chaleur et d'attention de la part des équipes d'accueil. La piscine est assez agréable mais pas assez de parasols et de serviettes alors que l'affluence n'était pas a son apogée. Le petit déjeuner un peu limite […] en qualité: café imbuvable, thé à la menthe sans aucun goût etc ... Le restaurant marocain offre un cadre agréable mais le service n'est pas à la hauteur ni la qualité de la cuisine. Bref un effort doit être fait pour être un vrai 5 étoiles. Hotel très bien situé, à 20min à pied du centre de Marrakech, et cependant très au calme. Jardin magnifique avec végétation luxuriante et très bien entretenue. Personnel nombreux et souriant. Hotel très bien entretenu et très propre. Petit déjeuner excellent. Piscine propre avec service constant. Climatisation fonctionnelle, salle de bain spacieuse […] et propre.
