My daughter and I stayed for one night. We were upgraded to a junior suite which meant that we had a sofa area. The room was fine with free underground parking and the continental breakfast was good with bacon, eggs, and assortment of muffins, bagels and cereals. Starbucks is adjacent to the parking lot which is nice. Immediate neighborhood is not too […] nice but its close to everything. Overall, good value. Læs mere

We arrived early only to our surprise the room would not be ready until 3:00 pm, after traveling all night. The manager was onsite when I was complaining, he did nothing to accomodate my family, he simply said there's nothing I can do and left as so. I had to make reservations elsewhere in order to take a shower and rest. The rooms were musty and some […] areas not clean at all. Will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone! Læs mere

Nice large comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The glass elevator scared the living daylights out of my son and I the first time we rode it. It goes up to the floor, stops, then bounces 3-4 times to settle level with the floor. It's safe, but nice to have the warning.

I stayed here one night before I had to take off from LAX. The hotel is slightly dated, however it is well maintained, very clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. It's about a 10-15 minute ride to LAX (requires taking the freeway, which I was surprised to find out - I didn't check the exact location before). That being said, there was no traffic […] even at 7.30 a.m. on a Friday. I could hear street noise from our room, but it wasn't too bad, also could hear neighbor on balcony from time to time when he was out smoking. All in all for the price it was a good deal. The only thing wrong was the surrounding neighborhood is pretty sketchy but your right by the highway and the rooms are clean and staff was friendly..it's not a resort but it's clean and serves its purpose if your looking for a quick cheap weekend trip.

We arrived at the Baymont Inn at about 8 o'clock after coming back from Universal Studios. The staff was very friendly and got us checked in right away. We got to our rooms and I was delighted to see how clean the room was and that they had a microwave, refrigerator and enough towels in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets […] were very clean and looked brand new. Our window was facing some houses in the back, which was really no problem. The only thing that I didn't like was the carpet that looked like it had never been washed or replaced. So I tried to wear flip flops the entire time in there. I would have rather walked barefoot outside than on the carpet. I didn't like that the vending machines didn't have any snacks, there were just drinks. So make sure that you bring enough snacks, but if you get hungry there is a starbucks right next door. We also asked the staff for places to eat near by, we were looking for something fast food-ish, but the list they gave didn't have that just real restaurants and diners. So, we had to drive around looking for some quick food. The breakfast in the morning was really good. I think they had waffles, but we arrived downstairs late so we didn't get them. I ate sausage, eggs and a bagel and some apple juice. But they also have choices of toast, oatmeal, cereal and more. Very good options with fruit too. The parking was ok, but no security which worried me, but everything worked out great. The elevators have keys. Also, I have to say this for anyone that is handicapped, because my mom was is handicapped and the toilet seats are very low and the walk to and from the elevators are quite a long distance so keep that in mind. In summary, the hotel was quiet, clean for the most part (except for the carpet) and I would definitely recommend this hotel. Læs mere

everything was A ok but i was not please with the hotel wireless internet service they stold my wife info on her laptop all of her infor was wipe clean. thats is the only reason i would not stay there again or recomend anyone to stay there using there notbook the hotel manangment should look into it service with the company it used

We just stayed one night (between connections at LAX). We were pleased with the service, especially the desk clerk who was very friendly and helpful (the shuttle drivers were also very pleasant). She upgraded our reservation without us asking. The free airport shuttle runs approximately on the hour, which resulted in us having to wait about 30 minutes […] for the pick-up, but no big deal. Return to LAX went exactly as scheduled (less than 15 minutes - on a Sunday morning). The room was clean and comfortable and had all the accessories we expect. The morning breakfast offered a large variety of choices - better than most "free breakfasts". We found a great Peruvian restaurant within walking distance (about 5 blocks) from the Baymont - El Pollo Inka.Not fancy, but VERY good food and very reasonable prices. My biggest complaint was the service, our door did not lock as we were leaving for a wedding we were in town for we waited 20 min and after 2 phone calls somebody finally came up.we explained that we were going to a wedding and were already late. the service personnel said he couldn't fix it at that moment and that our belongings would be ok if we left […] the door open!! we had no choice to leave because we were already so late and were participating in the wedding. as we were leaving we noticed the same maintenance man and the receptionist socializing on the hawthorne blvd with someone in car. I think to see that was very upsetting. the area is questionable specially after speaking with relatives, so much that someone (security) is present in the lot at night, however this did make me feel slightly better. the breakfast ok for the price paid. would probably stay downtown next time because it is out of the way from all of the tourist areas. the room had an old musty smell and was outdated but was very clean. It was just right for our needs. The staff was very accommodating. Good Brealfast.

That was a a great stay at the hotel. Clean and well maintained hotel with ncie breakfast and warm and welcoming staff. The receptionist George was wonderful and upgraded a room for us without even asking for it. The only thing with the hotel is the nearby noisy drive through Starbucks place, they are starting early and their speaker is reallly loud […] to disturb a morning sleep :-( Læs mere

Baymont Inn have fantastic service and the breakfast was wonderful with a large variety of spread to choose from. Room was clean and the internet connection were good too. The only thing that may not be so good will be the location. It is about half an hour away from town area and the neighborhood doesn't have much thing. Old and dirty

When I checked into this hotel, I wasn't expecting much as it was at a great price and only a two star hotel. Its right next door to Starbucks which is also a major bonus ;) My room was super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The walls are thin and the refrigerator clicked non-stop, but other than that it was great! I would recommend this to family and friends when they come to visit!

I stayed at another Baymount before and was happy, so I picked this one near LAX. The room and breakfast are all good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi worked fine too. The hotel pickup was within 20 minutes so that was good. However, the shuttle to airport is not 24-hour, and the first one is 7am. Being near LAX where many flights leaves […] before 8am, that was a major problem for a hotel that caters to flyers. They should start the shuttle at 4am or 5am, and run every 30 minutes until 9am, instead of every hour. Until then, if you have early flight out LAX, don't stay here. Læs mere

The staff was very good, the breakfast was good, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area looking for a clean hotel and a good value. Also, even with its proximity to LAX, I did not hear a single plane.

It was a pretty nice hotel. It had beautiful landscaping. It had an awesome breakfast. There were some ants in the bathroom of my room, but no biggie. We had requested a non smoking room, but they booked us with a smoking room and then they made us pay to upgrade to a two bed non smoking room, that isn't good business if you ask me.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good cont. breakfast. Not as close to the airport as I assumed.

My boyfriend used the business center to print out his boarding pass. Unfortunately, they had a printer issue, and he could not print out the boarding pass. As a result, he had to stand in line for 20 minutes at airport just to print out the boarding pass :-( No free wi-fi and No LCD TV in the room. This hotel was a little sketchy at first, but we were tired and had an early flight in the morning so we decided just to go ahead and see what it was like. The hotel is dated, but clean for the most part. Our beds were clean, the bathroom was clean and we slept peacefully! good for one night.

Wasn't happy with the room considering the price they charge for it. Between cobwebs and a leaky toilet it wasn't great.

My husband, 6 yr-old twins and I stayed one night at the Baymont. It was overall clean, room was a good size, and the pool was heated which pleased my children. The hotel is skimpy on the towels (2 bath towels, 2 hand-towels) though they knew there were 4 people in the room. The only thing I could really complain about is the dirty grout in the bathroom. […] Even at other 3-star hotels, the grout is always dirty. I like that customers must use their room card to access the elevator. It made me feel safer. The area isn't bad, but not great...older 1960s homes in the rear. It was exactly what we needed, somewhere close to LAX. It was nice and clean, nothing fancy. There has been some renovations but it looks well kept.

We really enjoyed our stay, the breakfest was great. The staff was very helpful.

The hotel was ok. Our room was clean although the bed was pretty hard. The pool is like a giant bathtub for small children to play in. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was pretty good except the use powdered eggs. Those were a little gross. All in all we had a decent stay just not sure we would go back.

the hotel is minutes away from LAx, very convenient to stores, with good neighborhood. Breakfast was light but perfect. Good for families, friends or groups travelling together. parking is never a problem.

We arrived at 12:30am and were too tired to check the room thouroughly. The bathroom shower was covered in mold, wallpaper peeling, everthing looked dingy. They really need to remodel this location.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. It was convenient to the places we wanted to visit - about 25 minutes to most of themajor sites on it's side of town. I especially was please with the staff - very courteous and responsive to needs. We will be staying there again when visit LA

Minutes from LAX, very convenient. Also minutes from South Central LA, but not in a bad area itself. Staff was courteous, friendly, and fulfilled our requests in a pretty timely fashion. The daily breakfast in the eatery was a definate Plus! Rooms not immaculate, but neat and clean, pretty standard. Hotel has a nice looking exterior however. The motel is very good,clean ang well maintained. The service was good, our bedroom was clean. The thing I did not like was that their computer at the lobby was not working, I needed to use it 24 hours prior to our departure to confirm our flight check in. The next morning our departure day came and asked the lobby attendant if they are going to fix […] the computer, and told me they called the repair person and it'll be there in about 20 minutes, but we don't have time to wait for that long because we had to go and eat lunch, so we ended up going to library to confirm our flight check in. I also needed to PRINT our boarding passes where the motel doesn't have printer. COMPUTER and PRINTER are a MUST in a motel/hotel because many occupants that are flying needed a computer and printer to confirm their flights. Also, the other thing I didn't like was on our side of our room (428) there was a person searching for aluminum cans and cardboard boxes in the dumpster and was crushing the aluminum cans right there on the pavement parking lot, which made ANNOYING NOISE. It was only around 7 or 8am at the time and we got disturbed. The motel manager MUST PROHIBIT those people CRUSHING CANS on the PAVEMENT and carboard boxes in the dumpsters atleast NOT until 10am, because they disturb the sleeping occupants in the rooms. Otherwise the motel is excellent and will stay at Baymont Inn again. Hopefully the motel prohibit those people in their dumpster from crushing aluminum cans on the pavement parking lot in the early mornings, and their computer must be working at all times and they must also get printer for the computer for their occupants. All motel or hotel must have very sound proof thick walls and DOUBLE GLASS paine windows. Peacefulness and quietness is very important to the restfullness of every occupant. My MOST complaints about motels or hotels are those unconsiderate & loudness and rudeness of other occupants. Their loud TV'S and their loud VOICES. Læs mere

So sure... there was a little fuzz and crumb-like action happening in the corners of the room, and there was something sticky on the bottom of the remote (ew) but there was absolutely NO sign of crawlies (and I check thouroughly!) and the bathrooms were spotless, and the rooms were quiet and the beds were surprisingly SUPER comfortable. OH and the Neighborhood […] was quiet and safe too! If you are used to the Hyatt- you'll be slumming it ---but Im a three star hotel regular and I felt so comfortable here I went back for a second night (I had only reserved one night---you know, just in case).
