The reception staff were friendly enough and the beds were comfy enough, however, the neighborhood was a little shady. It seemed in the older area of Pasadena. The breakfast was actually good with plenty of choice, however, the clock radio was dusty as well as the TV was old. The biggest let down was the final day we stayed the cleaning staff never […] changed the bed linen from the night before even though we did not put the "conserve water" sign on the beds and they also did not clean the bathroom at all. This was the biggest let down of all. The very minimum function of a hotel is to clean the hotel room daily. Overall not bad, but the non-cleaning of the room was a bad move. Læs mere

This hotel worked out fine for us. Very close to the 210 highway. The hotel was quiet, even on a weekend, and the breakfast was plenitful. The lobby could use a sprucing up and smelled a little musty. The front desk service was excellent both days we were there. I would recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff. Beds very firm, missed having a table in the room. Doors hard to open. Easy to locate and conveniently located for the purpose we were there.

Great location in Pasadena. Very close to Playhouse District and Old Pasadena. Rooms were not as nice as I was hoping but they were very large with separate living room and bedroom. I would not stay there because I would like to be in walking distance of the Playhouse District, Paseo Colorado, and Old Pasadena to easily enjoy the ammenities of Pasa […] dena. Læs mere

Very easy to get to and from the 210 freeway.

It was alright, it would be what you expect. 2 start fairly okay, the location there is plenty of food, and a grocery store near by which is nice. Overall it's decent

The facilities of the hotel is a bit old. In my room, sometimes the lights went out in the bathroom. And my free internet didn't work because I have a MAC, and it seems the free wireless internet only works for PC's. But none of that really mattered because the service I got from the hotel staff was excellent. They where very friendly and helpful, I […] got to use one of their computers for internet access for example. And the cleaning ladies are happy to work there and they joke around and it creates a very nice atmosphere. They also do a fine job cleaning the rooms. Stayed in a king suite. Mattress was a challenge, fold-out sofa bed the worst of a bad idea. Doughy, non-nourishing breakfast. Location far east of downtown Pasadena but walkable to Gold Line. Refrigerator, no microwave. Hot water, TVs, phone, internet worked. Clean, towels and linens fine, housekeepers fulfilled request not to use odorous spray cleaners. […] Earned its 2 stars. Læs mere

The hotel was full because of some CA Bar Exam down the road the next day - I arrived at midnight and they gave me the last room in the hotel that had a busted AC instead of keeping a nicer room - remember this was ALREADY PAID FOR - but that apparently means nothing. The service was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. Its good for the price. The breakfast was yummy. I actually was impressed i really thought it was going to be a little bad for what I paid for, but I was wrong. If you like mexican food there is a little restaurant open til very late right in front of the hotel. I had no complaints.

If you are attending the TCAs and need an inexpensive place to stay that is close to the hotel this place works. I only had to stay one night. I did notice that you could hear when people walked by the window, especially if they wore heels. The clerk put me in a corner room so that may have helped with the noise level as well. The lot has covered parking, […] which is nice in the summer. The breakfast bar included juice, pastries, bagels, a waffle maker, cereal, coffee, fruit and hard-boiled eggs. beds very hard, cheap pillows, loud noises in the night,a fight went on between a boyfriend and a girlfriend that went on for 1/2 hour then another fight later in the evening,don't know why manager didn'tkick them out after the first fight. loud toilets, so loud you can hear your neighbors,

I'd choice Best Western next time too.

It looks great online, but is right on a busy highway, very loud, certainly NOT a 4 star. Open corridors, lots of people arriving late at night, so it's very noisy. I didn't feel particularly safe and content as a single woman in the area.

Was in town during a Hospital visit so didn't need a great room. This room was very good for the money and was what I expected. Parking was safe, which was an initial concern. Free breakfast in the morning was good. I would stay here again if I needed a quick overnight stay.

This hotel was the best I've stayed in this year for this price. I was greeted by Harry Monga and he made more sure everything was perfect without any special requests from me. The only thing I didn't like was a minor bit of construction going right outside of my room for a little while. After that everything was perfect

stayed at this hotel three times now.good location friendly helpful staff.We liked the size of the rooms comfy beds and good free breakfast.Well worth a visit

The hotel was nothing exceptional, but it served its purpose for my trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and was located only a few miles from where I was visiting (Pasadena City College). The surrounding area was relatively quiet and I felt safe in the area. They did have a very solid complimentary breakfast with a decent variety (pancakes, juices, […] rolls, cereal, fruit). What I didn't like..the room key did not work and I had to go back a couple of times to get it straightened out. There was a pool, but it was "very" small. The vending machine did not work. Overall - a good deal for the money if you are just looking for a quick place to spend the night. Læs mere

There were stains on the ottoman and the carpet needed to be cleaned. We prepaid the room so it was disappointing on a warm night to go into a hot room and have to run the air to make it a decent temperature. There was freeway and street noise without the a/c on. Staff was courteous. Breakfast was good.

The front desk staff was amazing & friendly. The room was good, but walls were thin & you could hear noise from the other rooms. In the morning, the cleaning staff was yelling across the balcony at each other. :(

My family and I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now. To be only a 2 star hotel, it is great. The rooms are extremely clean, and any requests are taken care of immediately. The price is good.

the only problem, we forgot peronal pillows in the room and they diappered when we called to have them sent to us.

This is the best value I have found in the area near caltech where my son goes to school. Perfect location and no problems parking and wi fi which u need nowadays. I have always stayed here till my son graduated.

This hotel is about three blocks from the freeway (I-210), which makes it very easy to get around. This was my fourth time there; driving 5 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area, I usually arrive about a half hour before check-in. The staff has never had any problems with allowing me to check in early, or with providing me with a room on a floor that […] I choose.
