The room was great. Had no 'odor' issues that others described. The carpet was damp, but considering that this hotel was in Florida, it was understandably due to the great deal of humidity. Even then, the hotel has a dehumidifier placed underneath the vanity, which was quite helpful. The Jameson Inn was clean, close to I10 and comfortable. We selected the Inn because it was the closest Hotel that had rooms left for the Oklahoma Florida State football game that was played in Tallahassee. The pillows could be better but the location and cost of the room was very reasonable.

not good for the price

I recommend spending about $10 extra dollars and choose a hotel such as Hampton Inn. Jameson Inn was ok (old furniture, tv, etc.) but the difference of spending an extra 10 bucks at a Hampton Inn is like night and day.

I can honestly say this was one of the cleanest Hotels we have ever stayed in. We normally stay in Hampton, Marriott or Holiday Inns. But I tell you from now on we will be checking if there are Jameson Inns. The cleaning staff was outstanding and really cared about the rooms. clean, comfortable rooms but had a problem with a/c units in two of the rooms and another room smelled like someone had smoked in it and the hotel tried to remove the smell.

Overall was average. Friendly staff. Room smelled very musty and old. Shower was small with no pressure and clogged drain. Bed was great. I only stayed 1 night, didnt need another.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was ok. The television in the room was fuzzy and difficult to see. The pool was tiny but the kiddos enjoyed it. The workout room was dirty, no clock, no volume on the tv, the treadmill was very old and had no timer which makes it impossible to get a decent workout. I have been to Lake City many times, and I never picked this hotel to stay in, This will be my go to place . The place was clean, the room was great, the bed was very clean and comfertable. The staff was nice and pleasent.

The room was great, the service was great. The food each morning that was free in the kitchen area of the downstairs waiting room was great. Everying thing you can think of and it was FREE. The security is great, you have to enter through the always attended lobby area. No creeps can hang out. Right off I-75 in Lake City. Close to everything in the […] area. We went to the Suwannee River Jam in April and that was super and a good distance from the motel, not too much gas. Bed are average for motel bed as they go. I am a spoiled sleeper and I had to get a foam topper to sleep well. I am 68 and ache and hurt so don't think if you like a firm bed you won't be please. I am a Tempupedic lady, and had surgery around the first of April. Good Place we have stay lots of times. Never a bad experience. Læs mere

I was extrmely disapointed with your Hotel. First the beds were like a rock. Second the toilet in my room was blocked and when I called the front desk about it I was told that the plunger was being used in another room and that I waould be called when it was returned to the front desk so I could come and get it. i waited for a couple of hours and when […] I called again I was told that they were trying to contact the occupants that had the plunger to get it back but have not gotten in contact with them yet. That night I had to get dressed twice to go down to the first floor to use the Lobby bathroom. When i mentioned it I got a apology that was not sincere. I have not been treated this badly in many years. I have a job in that area and need to stay for the next couple of months. I will not go back there! I feel that I was taken advantage of and wasted my money. Læs mere

A great value. Very clean hotel and the staff was great. Easy on and off the expressway and lots of restaurant choices close by. We will definitely recommend this hotel

The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and neat however the room lacked any night lighting in the bathroom, lacked an accurate guide to the local area as well as a map of the local area, there was no TV channel guide, the Chamber of Commerce guide was out of date

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel., We spend 2 nights. The front desk personnel were very helpful and accommodating. I would stay there again.

This hotel caters to smokers. The rooms are mixed in the floor. The hallways smell very strongly. The bed sheets are full of cigaret holes, even in a non smoking room. Breakfast is very limited. Bathrooms are overdue for a renovation. With so much mold one can make a mushroom party.

rooms were very clean, as described in other reviews. morning breakfast was fun, coffee was not good, but homemade waffles made my day. hotel staff not so friendly. pillows had a slight smell, linens were clean, but i suppose it was the pillow itself that had a slight smell. overall, i would recommend this hotel highly

We were on the top floor and the second floor was the smoking floor, so our room smelled like smoke. Stunk really bad. When I called the front desk about it they just sprayed some air freshener in the hall. Didn't help much. I would stay in a different hotel next time. It is a busy intersection, and a lot of hotels to choose from.

The room was very clean and hotel was very close to everything. The rate was GREAT which made it easier to deal with the fact that the TV when turned on sounded like it had rocks rolling around inside of it and that the beds and bathroom were small. The hotel was very accessible to I75/I10. There were numerous restaurants to eat from and the lobby was pleasing. The beds were very firm and the rooms were long and not wide. There was a wet carpet smell in the room. I am not sure if we would stay again, because we saw other options that looked fresher.

We spent one night at the Jameson Inn in Lake City. The hotel is well maintained and looks nice when you walk in. The lobby smelled like bleach (which is good because it means something was cleaned but is not an "inviting" smell). The room was fine - comfortable bed. Adequately cleaned. Updated. Looked nice. No coffee maker in the room, unfortunately. […] Bathroom had some mold stains on the grout (but no active mold). The free breakfast was not very impressive. Cold cereal. Watery orange juice. Coffee. Baked goods. No hot waffles. The front desk staff was the biggest negative. When we walked in the clerk was eating lunch at the desk - on the phone with another customer (which was no problem of course), but never so mach as glanced up at us. Nothing. No smile. No acknowledgment that we existed. I waited 10 minutes for her to complete the call, following which she looked up and said 'Yeah'??. The next morning a different front desk clerk did not say "Hello" or "Good morning" when I walked through. I spoke first and she did say 'Hi" at that point. I thought this was a really nice hotel for the price. The rooms were modern and very clean. The bed was comfortable, but pillows were way to puffy. The breakfast was pretty skimpy (biscuits, gravy, some cereal, couple packs of instant oatmeal, some fruit, milk and juice...that about covers it). Great deal for the room

This is our 4th time staying here. We have tried staying at other hotels in the area, and were very dissatisfied. This hotel is only about a half a block off the "main drag", and about 2 blocks off of I-75 but is well worth the price. The quality of the breakfast buffet needs improvemet. It is close to several restaurants and fast food places as well […] as shopping. Walmart is about a mile away. The staff is friendly and eager to please. We will be back and would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Lake City Florida Læs mere

We were on the top floor and the floor below us was the smoking floor. Naturally our room stunk like smoke. I called the front desk to tell them and all they did was spray something in the hallway. I would never stay here again.

Due to the two night stay minimum in Gainesville for game day, we decided to stay in Lake City. This was an excellent choice. Would do it again.

Even though the hotel was surrounded by alot of other hotels, the pool area was very private and relaxing.

It is ok for the money I pay. thanks
