"I think all the 1 star reviews were VERY wrong!"
Just because this hotel is not the "Holiday Inn" does not mean it's a bad hotel.This hotel was very clean.It didn't stink.It was nice and quite.The employees were VERY nice.The sheets were VERY clean.The hot water heaters WORKED.I read all the other reviews after I already booked the room.I must say I was terrified to go to this hotel.After we all got […] there I thought WOW the REVIEWS were wrong about this place.My family of 4,my sisters family of 7 & and my mother and father were all very comfortable with our rooms.The T.V.'s worked just fine.I will have no problem returning to this hotel again.All the kids have tons of fun in the swimming pool.I never eat breakfast at hotels,but this time I did (i'm pregnant) they had bananas,coffee,donuts,ceral,milk...not a 5 star breakfast but it was enough for me.I'd say if you want a luxury hotel go somewhere else.But if you are a normal person then this place will suit you just fine.Not one thing wrong with this place,it's just not a place for suck up movie stars. "The Knights Inn in Brenham, Texas"
The hotel is listed as a 2 star hotel but I wouldn't give it 1 star. The linen is very old, the fixtures are falling off the wall and the mattress is old and sagging. Worst night ever at any hotel in Texas.

This hotel has been run down over the past year and may not be able to be slavaged.
Not exactly the Waldorf Astoria but had nice staff and was very nicely located for my purposes.

"Not the best place I've stayed!"
I got a room a this location because I was by myself and was getting my daughter, who was already in the area, ready for her first year of college. This is by far not the best place that I've stayed. The room was not as clean as I am used to and I did see a roach the first morning (I was there only two nights). I'm a veteran so I'm used to living in […] many different environments. It wasn't that bad of an experience, however, since I'm single and was alone. I would not dare place my daughter or mother at this place! It wasn't hard to find since I've been in the area before. I woke on my final morning to find guys outside drinking beer. Now I have no problem with drinking beer, but they were a bit loud and were right next to my room. The lobby smelled. Cars had been broken into at night. Found this out from the painter on property. No plug in bath tub. NO ICE. Faulty TV. Was told that they have always had trouble with this TV. No info in room about channels or what was available once we were able to get TV going. Same problem for TV every time we turned it off. Stayed one night […] and was glad to leave. Læs mere

Bugs in the bathroom, other peoples hairs in the shower...faucet in sink put water everywhere but the sink....ice machine did not work....I could go on and on...but I think you got the point
"needs improvement"
for the price this hotel was fine. the breakfast was not at all good...and i had to walk in the rain to get to the main office and breakfast area. the rooms were clean. the bathrooms need upgrade. i really liked the fact it was close to many restaurants and to walmart. overall this hotel ok just a few things need to be upgraded...

"Great for the price!"
Hotel was perfect for our needs of just a place to crash and convienent to our main meeting location. Room was clean shower was a little small but does the trick.

This hotel is in a convenient location to the college but is not one that you want to hang out at and go to the poolside for conversation. Decent room for the money.
