Matteras was very hard. Walls very thin and lots of noisy guests. After two nights my sons couch was looking very promising

The beds were really hard and uncomfortable
"Overall good, hard beds"
This was convenient for our location, and the accommodations were what you'd expect from this level hotel. The beds seemed unusually hard, and the front desk said they were updating by this summer (none too soon). Nonetheless, everything was comfortable and the price was right. We'll stay here again.

"Good Location"
Hotel is right across the freeway ramp from several eateries and a WalMart. Stay away from the nearby Cracker Barrel if you'd like to avoid a heart attack from clogged arteries. Family run motel, and they all work hard keeping the place clean. Decent continental breakfast, including waffle-maker.

"Nice Hotel for our needs"
We needed a nearby hotel for running the Hobble Creek half marathon in Mapleton Ut and this hotel fit our needs. The gentleman at the desk was more than kind and the room was clean and featured the usual amenities such as a hair dryer for my wife,a digital alarm, a small fridge and even 4 pillows for the bed. The temperature in the room was self adjustable […] and the price was fair. We slept well and got a wake up call as requested. The front desk even gave us additional time to clean up after the race(extended the checkout time). I found this hotel better than average. Læs mere
"Days Inn in Springville, UT - adequate"
No better or worse than most. People were nice. I could not get a late check-out for later than noon (normal is 11). The address on Hotels.com is completely wrong. It's too bad they don't supply the number of the motel so you can call and find it. Next to a Cracker Barrel that was nice, if you like that sort of restaurant. Otherwise, not near much, […] except a Wallmart. Town is small, though, and the motel is convenient to other locations and very near Provo. Læs mere

"Motel in Springville, UT"
Room was okay - not much storage for clothing. Excellent access to interstate. Cracker Barrel Restaurant right across the parking lot. Swimming pool and hot tub were good. Complimentary breakfast was subpar but coffee was not bad. Would stay there again.

The room was fairly clean, but by the condition of the furniture in the Lobby, it made me wonder if they just remake the bed after the last guest, or actually wash the sheets. The bed was very comfortable, and I was extremely tired, so I hoped for the latter. The walls are thin, so the first noise anyone makes is the end of sleep. Breakfast was acceptable. The hotel was ok for the price. You get what you pay for at this hotel. Everything was just ok, nothing exciting.
"It's an average hotel"
We've stayed here before and will again. This time though it seems the sheets had not been rinsed before they were dried or something because when we woke up, there was something sticky on all our pajamas.
"No service"
We were told and had it confirmed on the phone that there was a spa there that we would be able to use. There was a digital billboard on the way to the hotel that promised a spa. However when we got there, they told us the spa was only avail in the summer. Very helpful in cold Utah. Additionally there was a snowstorm when we were there and no one shoveled […] the parking lot. standard motel, breakfast was a complete joke, i wasn't expecting much but, what we got was amazingly ridiculous!
"conveniently located between SLC and the NP"
we stayed at the hotel to get a head start to the Arches and Canyon Land after arriving at SLC airport late. It worked out well since it is only an hour from SLC on I-15 and close to highway 6.

The one good thing about the hotel was that it was convenient to where we were going and wal-mart. The lobby stunk of incense, the room stunk of soured water. The phone didn't work. It didn't hold 5 people like it was advertised so when we went to the desk to get another bed of some sort they charged us more per night. The hotel was a decent value. The check-in was less than pleasant. We got to the hotel about 8:30 pm and were tired. We could barely understand the registration clerk through his very heavy Indian accent.

The room was very hot, took awhile to cool down. The room was comfortable and very clean!! The continental breakfast was disappointing. Only white bread, plain bagels, cereal, coffee with plain creamer. Would have enjoyed a little variety in the breads and flavored creamers are a must these days. The foods were very limited in choices and quantity.

"Outdoor pool"
I was disappointed that your pool was outdoors. Because of thunder storms, I wasn't able to use the pool.
"Not worth the money"
The service was not very good. The room was really stinky and didn't feel clean because of that. The toilet had problems flushing. It says they have a breakfast but it was a joke, no choices.

"Everything great but the towels"
The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, breakfast was nice, price was great - but what's with those towels? We got two very small, very thin (but clean) towels. Towels that worn need to be replaced.
"Stayed the wrong time of year"
It was not clear when looking at the overview that the pool was a seasonal outdoor pool. You had to look into the details in order to see that, which we did not do. Unfortunately we selected the hotel because it said it had a pool but it was closed for the season. It needs to show in the summary of amenities that the pool is a seasonal outdoor pool. We experienced no problems with the service, cleanliness or condition of the room. The only inconveniences were; the lack of an ice machine and vending machines on the second floor, and being "shorted" a towel one day.

"Great location for travel"
This hotel is just off the freeway and close to several fast food restaurants and also a Cracker Barrel. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. Will use again when passing thru the area.
