"Traveling for work"
There aren't much in the way up upscale accommodations in Williamsport, PA and rooms are currently tough to come by due to the oil shale industry. This hotel was exactly what it needed to be. The rooms were modern and clean, the guy at the desk was warm, funny and helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory but I'd love to see a few healthier options thought […] I'm guessing most folks are happy with the sausage & eggs. My pillows on my bed were terrible - lumpy and one of the beds had sheets with pills - yuck. My room was close to the lobby and it was noisy. Would have preferred this hotel was in Williamsport rather than a 20 minute drive away. As far as I could tell - no bedbugs - and that makes it a winner these days. Our stay was nice. We did not get the adjoining rooms we had hoped for because they were all taken. We (myself and children) weren't able to use the hot tub in the evening because of the other guests drinking and monopolizing it. The toilets were VERY low and hard for my elderly mother to use. The hotel was in a great location. Within a half hour in all directions there was something to do. Convienent freeway access. I stayed in the king room w/ the whirlpool hottub. Very modern and clean! My only gripe was some of the staff wasn't the friendliest. But it wouldn't deter me from staying there again! Ill be back!

"Perfect place to stay for a night"
We booked this hotel so that we could attend a football game at Penn State. We didn't realize how far it was (over an hour) but since it was on the way back home to NJ, it worked out fine. Reasonably priced. Place was clean, very well kept. Breakfast was a very nice plus in the morning. free internet access. a really nice indoor pool, hot tub and gym, […] but we didn't use either of them this time. Would definitely stay there again. "Affordable Clean Room in Central PA"
I stayed here for a night with my family. We share a room with 2 queen beds. This room was very comfortable, clean and the shower was excellent. I think this is really all anyone is expecting when they stay at a interstate exit economy hotel. The only dawback was the breakfast. The "breakfast buffet," the eggs and cheese were egg and cheese substitute. […] The sausage was decent and well cooked but the biscuits looked stale and the gravy had an odd color. I would recommend choosing the cinnamon swirl buns only. The staff was nice and personable and answered all our questions. There aren't many dining options so make sure you eat before you get to the hotel if you expect to arrive after 9 pm. The Bonanza Steakhouse nearby closes at that time and the nearest option is an Applebees which is 5 miles away in lewisburg. All around this is a good place to stay if you are heading to a Penn State football game the following morning, which is what we did because it is only an hour and 10 mins outside State College. Although this hotel looks to have been recently updated, it literally took 5 minutes to get hot water. When we flushed the toilet or washed our hands there was a terrible, loud sound in the wall. You could not use the TV remote unless you were sitting up in bed and raising your hand/remote over your head to so that it could "connect" with the sensor […] on the TV. This was our first time here and we were pleased with our room. Only complaint was there were no towels or wash cloths left in the room the second night we were there we had to go ask for some. There could be a grab bar in the shower also, but otherwise the hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice heated pool and hot tub. We drove to Shade Mountain Winery […] in Middleburg on Saturday which was about a half hour away from the hotel. Nice quiet area and a Bonanza restaurant is right up the street from this hotel. "A great chain"
This one is like all the others we have stayed in this year. Clean, comfortable, well-appointed, excellent staff. Holiday Inn Express hotels seem to be sprouting everywhere and it's very nice to know that by choosing this chain you know exactly what to expect and you get good value.

Our stay was a last minute reservation due to a death in the family and they were more than accomidating to us as when we where leaving to go we had to add another person to the room. "Not a bad place to stay"
room did not include a refrigerator, front desk stated that only some rooms had them.
While the rating for this hotel was only 2.5 stars believe it should be higher! Our room was clean with good mattresses and well appointed. Service was good and had easy access to Route 80.
"Multiple rooms."
We rented 5 separate rooms. One of the rooms smelled so strongly of smoke that we had to have the room changed. It was a typical HI Express, nothing special but nothing terrible either.

"Not bad"
For a budget hotel just off the highway the New Columbia Holiday Inn Express was not bad. Bed was good, room was clean and the free breakfast, unlike many other chains, was not bad. I have stayed their twice while on Business in Lewisburg and plan to stay there again.
"HIE New Columbia - Little League World Series"
Hotel was good, people very friendly, good breakfast, great room, but thought the rate was steep for the distance back to South Williamsport. Rate was probably increased due to Little League World Series.

Hotel was nice and clean. Some renovations in progress. Breakfast was very good.
Room was a littly pricey, but it was nice and clean and quiet. Easy access to highways and is centrally located in area. The free breakfast is really great

"good hotel"
i chose this hotel because it was off the interstate, had a good rate, good reviews, and parking to fit a uhaul trailer. they had a good variety of food with their complementary breakfast, including hot foods like eggs and sausage which i had not seen before with any complementary breakfast at other hotels. bathroom was clean, room was clean..the only […] downside (probably on my part) was that it said some rooms had microwave/fridge and we thought our room would be one of them..oops i should've checked. but up the road was a bonanza steak house which was excellent Læs mere

Hotel is excellent value for the money. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the whirlpool tub, mini-fridge and microwave oven. Property location is very close to I-80 and US 15, so very convenient. Area around hotel sucks, but go 5 minutes south and you are in Lewisburg with many excellent restaurants, Bucknell University, etc.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was excellent and it had a quiet atmosphere. I did nothing but relax for the holiday week. Very nice hotel -- great indoor pool. Quiet, clean, and well maintained. Easy to access. Great breakfast selections. Would stay there again.
While the hotel is located adjacent to PA 15 and close to I-80, we heard no noise from traffic even though our room faced PA 15. Breakfast choices were average. The hotel is a few miles north of Lewisburg where the restaurant choices are greatly increased.

"Nice building in poor location"
Breakfast good. Clean spacious room. Too near road - noise until late then early in morning. Limited options nearby for dinner - you have to drive, only one restaurant near. Fitness room the size of a cupboard. (Don't use the treadmill unless you like shocks from static buildup.) "Exceptional service."
We received exceptional service from the front desk people. Shortly after our check in we noticed a buzzing sound from the in-room refrigerator. We were immeditately offered another room at no extra charge. "Clean, basic hotel"
The room was clean, staff was OK. Beds were AWFUL! but the quality of the included breakfast exceeded expectations and the location was perfect for us.
