"hotel in lincoln near u of nebraska"
We needed a room near the university and this was available. Very courteous and friendly. The day staff person Rhonda was exceptionally nice and helpful.
"Convenient for Occasion"
We stayed here during our visit to the University. The location was very conveniently located to UNL. However, the neighborhood behind the hotel was a bit iffy for my daughter and I. The hotel itself was okay. During our stay, the pool was closed, which was a disappointment as we were not notified of its closure before booking. The room was also okay. […] The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. It was hard to keep a comfortable temperature in the room as the heater was broken. The bathrooms need some remodeling, the steam from showering has started to leave rust on the metal and peel off the wallpaper. What made the stay bearable was the staff and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, our stay was okay, next time, we will try and find a different place first. Læs mere
"Near Fairgrounds and Cornhusker Stadium"
This is an older motel in an older part of town. Easy on and off I-80. Desk staff was very professional. Breakfast staff friendly. Good machine pancakes instead of usual Belgian waffles. Water stains on ceiling of clean room. Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling. This appears to be a minority operated business. Hooray for them.
"Holiday Inn Express--not what you'd expect!"
The hotel room was decent enough but the pool area (the #1 reason for getting this hotel!) was DISGUSTING!!! It didn't smell like normal pool/chlorine, it smelled like rotten mold and mildew. The swimming pool was so murky you couldn't see the bottom. And the hot tub!!! It looked as if a tour bus group had used it as a urinal! The water was clear but […] very YELLOW. My family went ahead and used the pool against my wishes, but I refused to even put my feet in. I've worked in a hotel with pool and hot tub and if ours had been in this condition they would've been completely drained and scrubbed! Also there were no towels so I had to go back to our room to get towels, only to find 3 towels in the room when our reservation was for 4 people. The call buttons on the phone didn't work so I had to call the hotel from an outside line. However, the clerk was VERY nice and had more towels to us in probably less than 2 minutes! We won't be staying there again, and I must say it's definitely not the normal quality I've come to expect from Holiday Inn. Læs mere

"Not for me & Overpriced"
Do not recommend this hotel. The bathroom was in terrible shape. The toilet seat was just hanging on with half of the bolts missing. The sink stopper was broken so you were unable to put water in the sink. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee, cream or sugar. The drapes in the bedroom were filthy. We called the front desk for a wake up […] call. They called 10 minutes late and we were in a rush all day because of it. In the morning we turned on the heat because the room was cold. A terrible smell resulted and the fire alarm went off. Noone responded to the alarm. Not up to the Holiday Inn Express Rep. Would not stay here again. Læs mere
This hotel was in a prime loation for us. We attended a sporting activity and it provided a shuttle. This was great! We did find that the pool area was a little disappointig. The water was merky and the hot tub was not very hot and pumping out cold water.

"Lincoln NE"
Front office lady was not the most friendly! Went to the pool to see about the hot tub and it was ICE COLD. The pool was warm but looked dirty! Told the front desk that the hot tube was ICE COLD and she was going to get someone on it right away! Went down later and still nothing done. Next morning still not fix and no signage show out of order or when […] it would be fix! Good thing it was only one night stay!!! Læs mere

"an Average hotel"
I could hear lots of noise from people above and around us. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was convenient for us to go to the University. It is an average hotel.
Very disappointed that Swimming pool was under construction. This is why we choose hotel for activities then no one at Hotel.com knew that pool was closeed!!! Kids were disappointed!!

The hotel did not have my name as a reservation upon my arrival. I showed them my printed out reservation that I had made, so they did give me a room, but not at the rate that was quoted on the internet site. I've never had a problems making reservations per the internet. The room was not a problem and the hot buffet breakfast was very good.

Thin walls and loud heater went on and off all night. Wouldn't stay there again.
"Good Stay"
This was a great stay. We were passing through on our way back from Minnesota. It was worth leaving the highway a little bit in order to get a good nights sleep. We stayed at the settle in for half the price on the way out and the stay was miserable. You pay for what you get
"Basic Accomodations"
Breakfast was OK - a few warm items. Definitely a step up from a continental breakfast but not a true "buffet". As far as I could tell, there was only one ice machine for the entire hotel, which ran out of ice twice during our 2 day stay. Bought a bag of ice at the gas station next door. Also a full service supermarket and several fast food restaurants […] within 100 yards of hotel. The radio part of the alarm clock didn't work - front desk provided me with a brand new clock radio. Children were allowed to run up and down the halls screaming. I finally opened my door and got a parent's attention and it settled down a little.Very clean and comfortable room but nothing outstanding about the stay. Læs mere
"Average Hotel"
The beds were the hardest I've slept on in sometime. The A/C was on a thermostat that turned off and on all night. Morning staff in breakfast area were not very welcoming.
