Super 8 Monroe - Monroe

We were disappointed with our overnight stay at this hotel. The room wasn't properly cleaned - the bathroom was dirty and we actually found a grease stain on the sheets of one bed and a pepperoni on the floor. Next time we will pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.

Dirty/Dark/Dingy...not worth the price

My stay was great I wich I could stay a lit long it wonderful place.

Spend a few extra dollars and stay at the Residence Inn about two miles west. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. The maid service was terrible. There were holes in the walls and electrical outlets with no face plates on them. The only good part was the jacuzzi tub.

The room was not as clean as I would have liked after driving 14 hours to get there. The bathroom toilet had urine all over the back of it an dstrands of hair littered across the floor. When I went to bed that night I noticed that the sheet did not fit the bed and kept coming off the matress during the night. I informed the fromt desk attendant the […] next day and she said she would have it taken care of...well she didn't and the same sheet was on the bed that night. On the third day I was there the room didn't receive any cleaning at all. I would NEVER stay at that hotel again. I guess you get what you pay for. Læs mere

We were visiting our daughter at Wingate College for family day. For the price and location we will stay again.

The room was very large, with the King size bed and sofa. I was disappointed there was no refrigerator in the room. The room itself was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

The hotel room itself was on the second floor. (There are no elevators.) The room was clean, however we discovered that the shower curtain had not been replaced. We had to ask for additional towels (we were supplied with two in a room that slept 4) and washcloths (none were supplied). The beds were very comfortable and the pool areas were very clean. […] Overall I would recommend this hotel. Every effort was made to ensure that we were satisfied with our stay. Læs mere

My overall experience with the hotel was excellant, but the FREE breadfast was amazing!

The Hotel was in a good location since I was in a wedding in Peachland. However thats pretty much where my enjoyment of the hotel stops. Our room keys didn't work twice and we had to report to the front desk to get new key cards. The breakfast was nothing short of a joke other then the coffee. The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. […] The room left a lot to be desired. When moving our mattress we found peanut shells behind the headboard that had been there who knows how long. I would not recommend this hotel to any friends or family. Læs mere

The woman who was working the evening shift at the reception desk was extremely helpful and friendly.

The Super 8 Monroe offers good value for the money. The lobby is nice and even has free computer use. The rooms are clean and it looks like the hotel is still working on upgrading these. The mattress was one of the best I've slept on at a hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Great room for the money!
