"First Night in Hotel w/ our 2.5 month old"
The hotel was very clean, and we received a free breakfast with our stay. A hot breakfast! I was very concerned about the cleanliness of the hotel because we were taking our 2.5 month old daughter for 2 nights while we attended a wedding rehearsal and wedding. My mom stayed in the hotel with our daughter, and we were very very pleased with how clean […] our hotel room was. "It was OK..."
When we got to our room the door was not shut and come to find out the door was not easy to shut. You had to pull and pull hard to get it to catch. Kind of a pain. I was thinking our room was somewhat of a deal but I would have paid a little more to have a refrigerator. Shouldn't all hotel rooms have a refrigerator? "Close to Major Roads, but with fantastic views sur"
The Holiday Inn Express - Kent Island is an extremely clean and convenient place to stay while passing thru or staying at Kent Island. It's proximity to Interstate 50 makes getting in and out of the hotel a breeze. Situated in walking distance to "The Narrows" the water front views behind and around the hotel are breath taking. A short walk to the "Narrows" […] will reward you with more spectacular views and numerous place to dine. The "Narrows" is a waterway that seperates Kent Island form the Eastern Shore. The visitor may see Sail Boats, Fishing Trawlers, or High preformance Race Boats. They will most certainly see an abundance of wildlife as well. While enjoying this beauty the visitor can relax at one of the many outside bars / restaurants. Seafood is the obvious choice, but the discerning patron can also find a handcut steak if so desired. "Holiday Inn Express- Kent Narrows"
Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Better than average complimentary breakfast. GREAT seafood restaurants with in walking distance with views of Chesapeake Bay! Would recommend this hotel in a minute!!

"holiday inn kent"
This was a very nice hotel but I was disappointed that the jets in the bathtub did not work.
"Excellent Location"
This hotel is located on the lovely Kent island with access to a pier at the back of the hotel. Its close to Washington to be able to commute and there is an outlet mall only a few miles down the road. The room was quite large with all mod cons. My one complaint would be that the fridge in the room was noisy and had to be switched off.
our room was nice but smelled very musty. when we got home our clothes and suit cases smelled musty. our friends rooms were nice and did not smell. I guess I should have asked to be moved but didn't.......

"Clean and comfortable"
This hotel is in a beautiful location and was very clean and comfortable. It looks like it is a little older than some others but was still worth staying at. The breakfast and snacks offered are delish too. I would definitely stay here again!

"Thin walls"
My friend and I were talking at a normal conversational level when the man next to us banged on the wall for us to quiet. We lowered our voice to just above a whisper and he banged again. The next day, the man, who was an extended stay customer, complained to the hotel staff. My friend and I were given two options...talk in another room provided and […] sleep in our original room or just switch rooms altogether. "Go somewhere else."
The hallway smelled like cleaning products, while my room smelled like my cat's litter box (ammonia). The elevator was not working when we checked in (and our room was on the 3rd floor). The AC unit had two options - BURNING or FREEZING. The breakfast was horrible! The hotel is literally on the on/off ramp to the highway. Poor location. Poor hotel. […] Go somewhere else. Læs mere
"Great room"
The room is clean and cozy. The key to the room is not working properly and the door had to be slammed in order to lock it. Reported to the front desk but no improvement.
