Godt og rart hotel. Ingen særlig luksus og lidt afsides beliggenhed. Til gengæld pænt og rent, god service, samt gratis wi-fi på hotellet. Tog fra lufthavnen går lige til døren - bogstaveligt talt. Meget fine sporvognsforbindelser til centrum, men absolut også overkommelig gåafstand.

Små (rene) værelser og begrænset morgenmad, men opvejes af super beliggenhed og god service!

Hotellet er af ældre dato, men er i fin stand med hyggelige mere moderne værelser. Værelserne er ikke de største, men der er hvad man har brug for. Personalet er rigtig søde og vil gerne hjælpe med både det ene og det andet. Hotellet ligger super centralt med sporvognen kørende lige ude på vejen (Dette kan høres når de bimler og bamler med klokken, men ikke noget der der irriterer, mere som en hyggelig lyd à la "nu kommer sporvognen igen".) Hotellet ligger super centralt, lige ved Union Square. I området ligger der mange små caféer, dinere, butikker osv og 300 meter nede af gaden ligger der en metro station (en Bart) hvor man kan tage toget til yderområderne. På samme sted er der et hav af busser som kører alle steder hen i byen. To af SF´s tre sporvogne har også endestation lige nede af gaden. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt hotel. Vi var i SF et par dage inden vi rejste videre syd på. Hotellet var helt ideelt. Både pga at det var hyggeligt, med i høj grad også pga beliggenheden. Det var nemt at komme ud at spise, nemt at komme i butikker og shoppe og nemt at komme til både tog, busser og sporvogn. Helt klart et hotel vi vil anbefale og et vi gerne ville bo på igen hvis vi skulle tilbage til SF.

"Not Happy!"
I have stayed in other Holiday Inns Express but none like this one it was completely overpriced, the neighborhood was scary (but not dangerous, I think?) The fridge in the room was not working the toilet was not cleaned prior to our arrival. No restaurants available in the Hotel, we could not make any local calls because phone was locked?? "Great service, convenient location, but bad neighb"
The hotel is clean, updated, and the service was good. It is a very convenient location for working in Alameda or Oakland. The only negative is that the neighborhood is scary and seems to be a bit unsafe
"An amazing one night stay"
I had to postpone my Valentine's night out with my husband because I was sick with a cold. The next weekend we tried again, It was a great night even though I didn't get the Jacuzzi bath that I had my heart set on. Over all I enjoy the one night stay and I am looking forward to another night stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

"Super convenient for OAK, clean, great breakfast"
...and evening reception too! close to airport, free shuttles, new and clean... we just needed to stay one night in oakland to get to the airport and this fit the bill perfectly. oh and they have fresh baked cookies!
"Nice Stay"
The staff was very nice, the room was a bit small w/two beds, but comfortable, and quiet. The BEST was their shuttle service - they not only picked us up from the airport, but to dinner, to car rental, to the game and to the grocery store - for free!!! "Great stay!"
In town for a football game for 3 nights - very convenient to airport, shopping, and Oracle and O.co stadiums. Nice clean room - large - friendly staff and great breakfast. Had no issues whatsoever and plan on staying there every time I visit Oakland for sporting events

"Holiday Inn Express Oakland Airport"
Not such a great neighborhood. I was asked for money twice at the local convince store. There was a fight one evening in the parking lot between staff and her spouse. It didn't quiet down until 2am. Breakfast bufet was the worse I have ever had and I travel a lot. No place around to go so your choices are limited. Won't stay here again. :-(

My wife and I loved the hotel. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We will be staying here again.

I had a pleasant stay. The hotel has free wi-fi and free parking. The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, a small sink outside the bathroom. Everything about the hotel was great.

"Banging Doors"
Doors kept banging shut all the time which was very disturbing. I think it would be a good idea to put hinges to let the doors close slowly but yet close on thier own without banging shut. The same way with my bathroom door, unless you held onto it, it would bang shut.
"Great Hotel/Great Location"
Hotel is right next to the airport with a shuttle service to anywhere within a 3 mile radius. Rooms are big and quiet. Great breakfast selection. Free happy hour in the lobby in the evenings. Great customer service from all the staff. Hope to visit again.

This Holiday Inn is older but was clean and comfortable. They provided free shuttle service and a complimentary breakfast. No restaurant in hotel. The neighborhood being at the airport was questionable.

Okay for a short stay or convenience to airport. I was there on business and it was certainly convenient. However, nothing really around the hotel and the area is not particulary desirable. I didn't even feel comfortable running outside during the day. Staff is very nice, breakfast is very average. Rooms are clean and you don't hear much of the airport […] noise which is good. "Good location to airport"
This is in a good location if you want to be close to Oakland. But you shouldn't expect anything special about where the airport is--there's nothing much to it. There aren't that many nice hotels to stay by the airport, frankly. And this hotel is a bit overpriced in my opinion. If you don't mind staying within 20 miles of the airport, there are plenty […] of other options just as good, but a lot cheaper. The hotel is clean and fairly new, so I was happy with it. "Bang for your buck"
our stay at this location was great. very friendly, clean & cozy. Breakfast is included. On our last day there breakfast ran out right before the deadline & they were nice enough to make more for the one's that didn't get any.

Cheerful, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast operation. They called me to tell me I had left a shirt behind, even before I got home and discovered I had forgotten it! We'll be back for sure!

My trip was due to a quick meeting in nearby Pleasanton but I wanted to stay near the airport. The shuttle service was quick and very courteous (they even brought me to the BART-rapid transit station as needed). Rooms were clean, beds, very very soft, staff friendly and quick to help in any way. I missed the complimentary breakfast, but noticed it looked […] very good. "Very convenient location!"
We love this hotel because its literally across the street from the Oakland airport. It's so easy to go pick up/drop off the rental car down the street (hotel has free shuttle service until 1am) and get on the freeway to wherever we need to go. There's also an In and Out conveniently located as you come off the freeway on your way back to the hotel. […] :) The front desk and cleaning staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. I was having trouble printing out my boarding passes in the business center, and the front desk staff logged in and printed them for me!! It was such a relief!! We usually go out to breakfast on vacations, but this time we finally tried the free breakfast in the lobby. It was simple but very good - sausage, bacon, eggs, bagels and the BEST cinnamon rolls ever! Definitely grab one of those the next time you pass through! Læs mere

Registrar was a bit scattered and had me come back to the desk 3 times to provide her with information (car?address-repeated 3 times?drivers license?) but she may have been tired. Room was quiet, adequately cleaned. Parking was a breeze. Very convenient to the airport. Neighborhood […] was a commercial avenue with other hotels, fast food restaurants, and deserted at night. It was the perfect place for us, we flew in a day early for a week in Napa Valley, we took a late flight from NYC and it was only 5 minutes from the rental car location. We were in and asleep in about 20 minutes and were able to leave rested for the trip to Napa Valley. "Great overnight stay before an early flight."
The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel is close to the airport and convenient, but quiet. It was an added bonus to park the car there and take the shuttle to the airport. We left before breakfast but the staff gave us some rolls and yogurt to take with us. Very nice service.

It was a perfect location to Oakland airport. We even went to the Marina and had dinner at Horesito's seafood and Steak house. It's an excellent resturant recommended by the hotel. I would stay again at this hotel. It was near the Hilton and was just as nice as any 4 star hotel in the area.

Came in from Southern California for business. This hotel is just off the airport and has a shuttle. Room was very nice, free beer and snacks in the evening and hot coffee at night. Breakfast was hot and fulfilling. Staff were very friendly and helpful in all manners. Look forward to staying at this property again.

Very comfortable. Clean. Great breakfast. Affordable and very covenient to the airport. Free shuttle to terminals. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a great hotel. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a good variety of food. Rooms were a good size and the staff were friendly and helpful. Particularly if you are arriving late or leaving early, this place is a solid choice.
