Et perfekt valg af hotel, for mit mål at forkæle en teenage pige der aldrig har rejst. Et rigtig lille stykke England med blomster og dybe sofaer, og hyggelige værelser. En perfekt område med kanaler og små parker, og kort gå afstand til til undergrundsstationen med direkte linje til centrum af London med seværdigheder og shopping muliheder.

Dejligt hotel i engelsk stil 2 minutters gang fra undergrundsbanen. Undgå dog at få værelse på 4. etage eller i underetagen. De dejlige omgivelser bliver her forstyrret af brummende ventilation eller lyde fra undergrundbanen, der kører lige under hotellet.

Loved the hotel. Clean comfortable room. Very polite and helpful staff with all the touches of home including a friendly kitty. Great location.

My girlfriend and I stayed for one night on a thursday, anyway, our room was fine except a bit small probably due to the fact the hotel was once a boarding school. The free internet was pretty bad and kept cutting off. The free sparkling and still water was a nice touch. The staff were all lovely but overall it was a nice place but the room was a tad […] too small and I think it was a bit expensive but that could have been just me! Læs mere

I felt that the quality of the hotel was not as good as two years ago whe I last stayed there. The location reletive to the underground is excellent and if you are visiting the city it is good, however it is not conducive to business travellers. The wifi never worked once in the two nights I stayed there with no reason or wanting to repair the issue. […] I ended up having to work from a Starbucks as a result. Læs mere

I highly recommend this very comfortable small hotel in a residential neighborhood. The rooms are a bit small, but lacked for nothing. And the location is ideal, just across the street from the Warwick Avenue tube on the Bakerloo line, and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

The hotel is in the quiet neighborhood of Little Italy with a tube station just forty steps away. The hotel is not on the canal and the view is very nondescript. They are going through a remodel but very quite at night. The additional bed requested was a bit hard for the third person. Stayed over for NYE with my husband and teenage daughter. We all loved this hotel. It is exceptionally well situated for the tube (Warwick Ave) which takes no time into the centre of London. The room we had was lovely and the hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. We liked this hotel so much that we have booked to stay again on the 12th Jan.

Nice hotel, very comfortable bed and bedding. Quite small room, but that was the smallest category. Quiet area, but you need to take the underground to down town London.

We were a little skeptical of the hotel upon arrival because there was scaffolding enveloping the entire building. We were not told about this prior to arrival. It turned out to be painting of the exterior in process, so there was no unpleasant noise, which we were relieved to find out. Our ground floor room still had a nice view outside, but rooms […] above ours were obscured by scaffolding. We would not have been happy had our view been blocked. Ask ahead of your visit! The room was charming and well equipped with everything we needed. The updated bath was very pretty and the room was more sizable than we expected. (Ours was a 'suite.') The hotel was VERY convenient to the tube, near the beautiful canal and just a short walk or ride from everything we needed. The staff could have been more knowledgable and speedier when asked for things, but they were polite, friendly and professional. Loved everything about our 7-day stay at The Colonnade in London, UK. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. Room was great! Location was superb!

The service offered by The Collonade was quite good - it is too bad that the room in general didn't actually achieve the same high standards. - The room I was in is fairly small and laid out a bit poorly. They could have easily moved or done away with the extra chair and magazine table in the room. There wasn't really enough room to keep the suitcase […] open at all times so I chose to put the suitcase on top of the small table on which the hotel had put a few magazines. - The bathroom was very small and the shower stall one of the smallest I've seen. I had to contort my arm to turn on the water because the taps were behind the shower door. Additionally, in my room you had to climb about 8 stairs to get to the bathroom. - The air conditioning refused to cool. It recirculated air with no problem, but cool was beyond it. - The television reception had problems for much of the time I was there, leaving me with the BBC and 2 or 3 other channels. This was fixed soon after I mentioend the problem, but I would have hoped that all TV reception would have been checked, as I was told that other rooms had similar problems during the week of my stay. - The cleaning staff was effective, but they forgot to leave more washcloths/face cloths when they took my used ones for cleaning. - A light fixture in my ceiling fell during the first night I was there. To the front desk's credit, they were able to fix it the next day. - The staff was always polite and prompt in their attention to me. - The free wifi is easily enough to browse the web and do email, but not enough to stream more than about 10 minutes of video. - The staff was generous and curteous in fetching ice for me - but it is too bad that the buckets they used were metal, so they sweated all over the nice desk in the room and left a puddle behind. Great little place out of the way but close to everything.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms and cleanliness level, after a few bad experiences in London - not via hotels.com. Plus the hotel was in a pretty neighbourhood called Little Venice. Rates were good but maybe because they were upgrading the building at the time. Hope they remain reasonable. I would definitely go back.

Reserved a room with 2 beds, got a room that looked like it had a queen size bed that was removed and two single mattresses side by side with no room in between the two beds. The AC barely worked and dripped water all night and day for the 4 days we were there. I pointed it out to the staff and nothing happened. There were contractors working outside […] of the window of our room most of the time we were there. Got wrong directions to the movie theatre from the staff and didn't have much luck getting suggestions on places to each/go out to from the staff. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice, close to Warick subway stop. The area around the hotel is called Little Venice and is nice little neighborhood. Læs mere

Excellent hotel in London. Price was excellent for the quality of the hotel. Located in a quiet residential area - good for sleeping. Several pubs located nearby if that is what you want. Also good selection of restuarants - Gordon Ramsey's Warrington Restaurant is only a short walk. Also some good restaurants along the canals in Little Venice. We were […] greeted cheerily upon arrival and permitted to check in early after a long overnight flight...at no extra charge. Internet was also included gratis. Breakfast was expensive, but there are several good alternatives in nearby coffee shops. Hotel is only steps away from the Warwick Ave tubestop and taxi rank. Staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful in every aspect. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Læs mere

The location was nice, staff accommodating, but the shower was treacherous (very high off the ground and slick) and the bed was terrible. when you are in London, you expect small rooms (which we had a very small room) but you should at least have a more comfortable bed. This mattress was like sleeping in a taco and I would not recommend the hotel for […] that reason. Læs mere

The Colonnade Hotel is London was delightful. It is located in a quite residential neighborhood but just one block from a tube station. There are several lovely restaurants within walking distance, two along the Canal. I had a single room which was small but adequate for one person. I highly recommend this hotel.

The bathrooms had some loose grout and some peeling paint, the rest of the room was nice, the tv got almost no channels and was internet tv so most of the channels it did get went in and out. Good neighborhood, close to tube, little venice area is nice.

The colonnade hote has a very good location , but the only comment I have is the size of the rooms is too small .

We love the Colonnade hotel. The staff is very helpful and personal. Their guest relations manager, Minnie the cat, is adorable. (If you're allergic to cat you might have an issue staying at the hotel as she roams around the hotel). Our room, the Club room, is cosy, but not a lot of walking room. There are complimentary apples, bottle of water, and […] newspaper which is nice. The bathroom is adequate as certain things need to be touched up. The neighborhood is very quiet. Behind the hotel is a block of restaurants (Amoul's is a great place for organic breakfast). We also ate at the Summerhouse and the Warrington which are both a 10 mins walk away. Both have wonderful food. Cheesecake at the Summerhouse is to die for. Besides the wonderful restaurants in the area you have the canal in Little Venice which you can actually walk down to Paddington underground station for touristy areas and also the Heathrow Express is there which will save you tons of time (15 mins) to the airport (tad expensive at 18 Euros). The warwick underground is literally a 2 mins walk from the hotel. You can see it once you get out of the hotel. Love this hotel and the area. Læs mere

Conveniently located with a warm personal touch service.

Room was incredibly small. One could not stay here with another person and make it their central place to stay if they were in the room I was in. But it was nice.

Wonderful hotel, ideally located close to (absolutely gorgeous is springtime) little Venice and a metro line taking you downtown London is less than 15 minutes. Very friendly staff. We'll certainly return.

The Colonnade was the perfect hotel for us! We loved the neighborhood of Little Venice. It's off the beaten path of touristy sites, but being only a block from the Underground made it very easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. The room itself was truly elegant. We had a room with a queen bed, and there were also two chairs and a small table as well […] as a desk and a chair. There was still plenty of room to move around. The robe and slippers were a great touch, as was the bowl of apples (great when we got hungry late at night). There are some great restaurants nearby, including excellent Indian take-out at Bombay Cyclist, and good Thai, in a dining room above the local pub. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys getting away from the touristy areas and is comfortable using the Underground. Læs mere

I have stayed at the Colonnade two times and I would return for another and another. Located in the quiet and beautiful neighborhood of Little Venice, it is a beautiful hotel, inside and out, with service to match. The rooms are abundantly comfortable and eloquent in decoration. All of the fine amenities are there including a bowl of apples, a chocolate […] and bottle of water at night, and a newspaper delivered in a velvet bag in the morning. The staff is respectful, polite, and very responsive. This is a fabulous hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. By the way, there is an underground station 1 minute away and you can be anywhere in London in minutes. Læs mere

We got a great deal on this hotel and found it wonderful. It is only a short metro ride to the Buckingham area and other tourist attractions. Two blocks away is a restaurant called the Red Chili (or Pepper). They had the best Italian food we have ever eaten in our lives and the pizza is to die for!

地下鉄駅のすぐそばで、周辺観光に出向くのには立地は悪くない。（当然もっと近くて便利な場所もあったが） 部屋は少々暗く狭く、開放感のような気分は味わえないが、観光の基地として利用するなら充分である。（ただし今回自分はシングル旅行、カップルには少々物足りないかも） 空港からと市内から数度、タクシーで帰館したが、ホテルの知名度も浸透しているようで、すんなりと戻れた。 個人的には、日本人が好むような至れり尽くせりなサービスは苦手なので、程よい距離感は好印象。 ホテルをでたらすぐロンドンの遊び場～ではないので、旅なれた人向きのホテル。

Nous avions une chambre en sous sol, pas de lumière et il y avait des travaux sur la facade. donc nous avions une vue sur des travaux en sous-sol. En cette période ou peu de chambres sont occupées, il aurait fallu nous placer en étage avec une meilleure vue. Nous sommes déçu de cet hotel.

Nous sommes allées en famille, au mois de décembre faire du shopping, 2 adultes(moi et ma fille de 16 ans) et mon autre fille âgée de 11 ans. Je connais très bien Londres mais pas cet hôtel. C'était la première fois car j'avais envie de connaître ce quartier de Little Venice. Nous avions la suite James Wright, au 3e étage, donnant sur la rue (enfin […] la place en fait). La literie est très confortable, le lit d'appoint (sans supplément pour nous) était aussi très confortable. L'accueil était impeccable (eau, journal le matin, porteur, café, thé etc.) et les formalités très rapides dans un hall qui ne ressemble pas à un hall d'hôtel mais à celui de votre maison. On a l'impression d'entrer dans le salon. Un personnel de service prend vos bagages et vous accompagne à votre chambre. Le personnel est vraiment chaleureux (malgré les critiques que j'avais lues), disponible mais sans familiarité, on se sent "comme à la maison" disaient mes enfants avec le confort et le service évidemment d'un hôtel 4 étoiles! Excellente isolation pour pour la chambre sur la rue pour les gens sensibles au bruit, Chambre très bien chauffée. Linge de maison impeccable, ménage très bien fait (et j'ai regardé dans les coins!), produits de beauté dans la salle de bain renouvelés chaque jour. C'est un hôtel très cosy pour ceux qui cherchent du confort et qui aime l'ancien. Seule critique négative de notre part: le petit-déjeuner dans la salle glaciale et surtout l' English Breakfast est peu cher et très moyen en qualité. Prenez le continental Breakfast si vous devez le prendre à l'hôtel, sinon sortez le prendre dans un café-restaurant dans le quartier. Pourtant le personnel était encore très attentif et faisait tout pour qu'on se sente bien. Ma fille a eu un chocolat chaud offert (très bon d'ailleurs). Le quartier de Little Venice est magique, ne manquez pas de vous promener le long du canal. C'est très calme et reposant après avoir visité le centre de Londres. Hotellet er bra for en noe tilbaketrukket lokalisering ute av det sydende sentrum, som likevel er lett tilgjengelig. Imidlertid var vår opplevelse at pris ikke står i stil til kvalitet. Koselig, men meget lite dobbeltrom med et enda mindra taolett/bad. Sengen var etter vår smak direkte dårlig iom at den var meget hard og opplevdes ukomfortabel.

Et deiligt, lite hotell veldig sentralt. Men alikevel i ett roligt og behagelig strøk. Små og sjarmerende rom. Hyggelig betjening, ett sted jeg absolutt reiser tilbake til !

本当にここのHOTELを選んで良かったです！ 主要駅のPADDINGTONからも地下鉄で１つ目で駅から近く、TAXIでも７￡で行けます。 STAFFもとても優しく、郵便局に行きたいと言ったら、近くの個人店まで連れてってくれて、英語が完璧じゃない私の為に手配もすべてしてくれました。 とても静かな環境で、PRINCESSのような部屋で、日本人はいなくて、世界中数々の泊ったHOTELの中で一番です。 LONDONに来たらまたここを選ぶでしょう。 女の子や、カップルにお勧めします。

The Colonnade is a gem, located in a residential area in central London, near Warwick Avenue Station on the Bakerloo Line next to Paddington. Beautiful, historic building, spacious rooms (rare in London), excellent, personalised services and a great restaurant (Michelin recommended) on the premises. Hotellet ligger bra till nära Paddington. Servicen var bra men priset lite för högt. Några hundralappar lägre och det hade varit full pott.

Si l'accueil du personnel est un peu froid, l'hotel est très agréable. Les restaurants et cafés de la rue derrière l'hotel sont à recommander, tant pour les prix que pour la qualité de la nourriture. Le quartier est très agréable mais il ne faut pas craindre de marcher!
