I stayed here five dys for work purpose. This is not a good business hotel compared to many other hotels in Hong Kong. The staff in the cafe and bar were very slow, the staff at the front desk were not very friendly nor efficient, they did not answer the phone several times when I called from my room. One day my room was not cleaned, I called front […] desk to ask for cleaning, they came and spent 3 minutes and left again, they only changed towels and made the bed. The lobby was always filled with suitcases - obviously the hotel did not have a stoarge room big enough. The area does not have very many shops close by appealing to Europeans. The pool was on one of the lower floors, so since Hong Kong is a skyskraber city the sunrays were blocked by the neighbor buildings. I think the hotel was very under staffed the week I stayed there. Hopefully they will improve. I have stayed in ten different 4-5 star hotels in Hong Kong all impeccable. This hotel cannot match any of the others - I would not give this hotel 4 stars due to not only bad service, but lack of service. Læs mere

Nice hotel, friendly / helpful staff, surrounding not great on one side (other side OK) but short walk to Wan Chai MTR... good amenities.

Nice hotel and reasonable prices for HK. Location was a little strange, best described as being in the bathroom district with lots of shops selling tiles, taps, baths etc... Only a short walk to the main bars in Wan Chai. Overall good, would consider staying again.

We stayed for five nights on the Premier Floor with club acces. This was well serviced with a great bar for happy hour and afternoon teas. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The buffet breakfasts were exceptional with very polite staff. Our rooms were well maintained and regularly serviced by very nice staff. I spent one night here whilst in HK on business. The hotel itself is OK. Service very good. Breakfast very good. No views as surrounded by taller buildings but I could see a glimpse of the harbour from my room on one of the upper floors. Area is good for exploring. Good location and good price. My only complaint would be that I booked my room on line and it stated "Free Internet" - when I checked out they charged me 140 HK dollars for one night of internet. I reminded them that the room said "free internet" and their answer was - "the free internet is only in the lobby" - misleading I think. FYI 140HK is $20  […] USD Læs mere

Front of house staff really not very approachable. It's really good when staff greet you when you enter and leave the hotel each day - particularly when you're staying a while. In the eight days I was there I had a great check in experience, but thereafter I may as well have been invisible to foyer staff. No one opened a door, no one spoke to me unless […] I spoke first. Great location, Wan Chai in HK, very close to the Island Line, in an interesting neighborhood. Room are admittedly a bit on the small side, but for HK, an excellent value and well worth considering.

It is a hotel close to everything. You can find eateries ranging from very cheap to five-stars within walking distances. You can walk to shopping districts like Causeway Bay in 10 minutes, or catch the MTR to Admiralty or Central in 5 to 10 minutes. Wanchai (where the hotel is) is mainly a residential area but it links between the business area(Central) […] and the shopping precinct(Causeway Bay) by buses, trams and the renowned MTR. It is extremely convenient for those who want to get some bargains yet want to stay away from the crowds when they go back to the hotel for a rest. The rooms are a bit small, but are well equipped. Good rate for Hong Kong. Good location in Wan Chai (Hong Kong Island). Service is pretty good and efficient. Restaurant is a bit expensive but this is HK... I recommend the place.

An excellent centrally located hotel. Stayed here dozens of times now. They appear to make little revonations and improvements here and there to keep it nice. A busy neighbourhood with tons of pedestrian traffic which tells you that you are near the centre of something. Wanchai metro station only a 5 min walk or less away/

Great location near the Convention Center. Connected to the Free Hotel Shuttle to the HK Station, very convenient. Will visit again.

The Hotel Staff was nice and friendly. The room was very small as compared to other Novotels I have stayed in. The Italian restaurant is very nice, loved their Pizza. Though the breakfast buffet does not have much options if you happen to be on the non meat eating side.

This is a friendly, comfortable, very well-located hotel - but you do need to remember that Hong Kong hotel rooms can be very small...and this is no exception!

I booked an Executive Premier Floor Room. However, the room was very small and would be too small for two people (I did hear one couple ask for a larger room as the one they had been allocated would not accommodate their luggage). The room did have free internet access, free newspaper and access to the Premier Lounge on the top floor where breakfast, […] afternoon tea and evening cocktails were served, all included in the room price, . The Concierge Desk on the ground floor is near the rear entrance where I think most of the coach parties must arrive. This means one has to sort out one's own taxi (most drivers do not speak English) at the front entrance. The Italian restaurant on the 1st floor was good as was the coffee shop on the ground floor. The high speed Airport Express to Hong Kong Island and shuttle service to and from the hotel worked well. Læs mere

Have stayed here about six times in the last 10 years. I have always had good experiences here. And, the staff (front desk to the housekeepers) are very friendly which is not that common in Hong Kong! About three blocks to the Wan Chai metro station. Visiting the HK Expo and stayed at the hotel with convenient location walking distance to the site and other facilities around Lockhart Road. Hotel was ok, but rather unmanned at night times. The hotel ambience was ok but the room was small and very minimally furnished. Location was convenient. The hotel shuttle from the airport was horrendously expensive at 140 RMB each person and the shuttle bus went to several hotels so it took a long time to get to our hotel - which was last. So don't take the shuttle if staying at this hotel.

The hotel is well-located in the heart of Wan Chai and is a short walk away from Causeway Bay. I was upgraded to a junior suite which certainly made the stay much more pleasant. The suite had many extras which helped to make the short stay very memorable. The TV in the main room didn't work properly on the remote control but I overcame these issues […] through the buttons on the TV. The room was clean and well appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were efficient without being obtrusive. I had breakfast at the restaurant, which while not being particularly cheap (Hong Kong prices I guess# was tasty with a large selection #Dim Sum as well as western food). The hotel location is not near any typical tourist attraction but it is close to all the public transportation. Hotel is surrounded by all type of stores and eateries but is mostly catering to the local. It is a small hotel but is clean and comfortable, little pricy I think because of the convenience location.
