Very nice room. We did keep having an issue with the key card and had to replace it twice. The toilet also stopped up but over all...we will stay here again.

the room was clean and a full size kitchen was real nice, the location was close to everything, restaurants and Walmart...the staff was very friendly. Enjoy the stay my husband and I will be in Corpus in June and we will be staying here again.

Geart place to stay for a night or a week.Every type of shopping nearby.The rate was great as was the staff.

A non-smoking room was ordered, even though one party does smoke. The entire hotel smelled as if it had been a full smoking hotel for the last 20 years and converted into having nonsmoking rooms. They try to hide this with air fresheners. It's horrid to sleep in as the bedding smells worse than the rooms. We had the windows open to try and help but […] it did not much. Love the space and kitchen. Room is clean and nice size . The location is in a quite place and not far away from everything we want to see. But you get no room cleaning service unless you stay more than a week. And no breakfast during weekend.

The beds were harder than the floor and you were given one pitiful pillow per person! The kitchen is a great idea but not worth losing rest fro!

We stayed for a holiday weekend so did not get a chance to take advantage of some of the amenities of extended stay guests such as housekeeping. I was surprised to learn (on the second and final day we were there) that there is no hotel room maintenance, like fresh towels or a made bed except for once a week. On the day we were returning home, we couldn't […] shower (no clean towels) and our trash can was full. I understand extended stay hotels work differently, but there was no information in the room regarding the maintenance schedule or where we would dispose of our trash bin. The bed was firm and uncomfortable. My husband and I have bad backs and woke up with really sore backs each morning. Thank goodness the stay was only two days! They did provide most of what is needed for a full working kitchen, like a pan, some utensils, dishwashign liquid and dishes, but they did not provide any sponges or towels to wash the dishes, we had to use the large kitchen towels they provided. They did provide an extra table and chair for dining which made things much easier for my family to sit around and have breakfast. The best part of our stay was the service. Despite all of the chaos that occurred when I was checking in, the girl at the front was sweet and courteous. She managed all of her insane tasks (she was the only one at the front with a line of people) and customer problems at once and with a smile on her face. She was great and made our stay pleasant as pretty much the only face of the hotel (no signs of help around but front desk people here and there). Læs mere

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Everything in the room worked well. It is in a very good location with nearby restaurants, malls, and different stores. This hotel is a very good value for the money when looking for an extended stay type hotel.

Good basic everyday hotel. Not fancy but clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I chose the ESD because it's close to family members I was visiting and I appreciate the convenience of the kitchette, especialy during holiday travel. Supplies in the kitchenette were on the skimpy side - one tablespoon, one teaspoon, one butter knife, one knife that *might* have cut something more solid than butter. Room was reasonably clean. A/C […] system appeared damaged - I was told that it had been converted to a digital wall thermostat after I went to the desk to inquire. Might have been nice if I hadn't had to ask about it....Location is convenient ot shopping & dining. About a half hour away from North Padre Island, slightly closer to Corpus Christi Beach. Læs mere

Overall this was a good buy. Had that at home feel. Very comfortable bed. Nice kitchen with large refrigerator and full stove. Very convenient to mall and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and polite. My only issue was that the "breakfast" mentioned in the ad here on this site, was simply bagels, muffins, and coffee that is only served Monday-Friday. I was very, very happy with the quality of the room for such a great price! The only thing is, is I thought housekeeping came everyday to give us new towels or whatever we used and they didn't but we called the Front Desk and they sent up new towels immediately so, no biggie! I will definitely stay there the next time I go back to CC!

Bathroom had mold around tub and at bottom of shower curtain. Asked for 2 additional pillows, never received them. No breakfast provided / nothing at all as per the info given.

Overall was satisfied , staff was polite, room was clean, would have liked daily housekeeping and in room toiltries. hotel seemed somewhat dated.

I was looking for a pet-friendly hotel and this fit the bill nicely. They were very friendly and the pet fee was half what I expected. They also allowed a second dog, despite the website indicating that only 1 dog was allowed. They put us on the 1st floor, so that was convenient. The room was clean and spacious, but the hotel is older and so it does […] have a worn-out appearance. This is not the Ritz, but it's clean and roomy for the money and very convenient to shops, restaurants, etc. They do not have breakfast but the kitchenette has everything you need to handle a meal. Extended stay is a great place to stay for the price bar none! I like the rooms at this location for the size and location. I did find a few things to be honest about, but nothing that would keep me from coming back. Iike things clean, I can say that the once a week room service did make me feel unsettled. I found a hair on my towel and a sock under […] the bed as we settled in the room. I brought to there attention and they fixed everything right away! The location was good, and close to everything. Hotel was in a good part of town close to strip malls and not too far from South Padre Island Drive and the beach. Front desk staff was very helpful in getting us directions and assisting in the navigation of the area, even suggesting restaurants. Hotel guests above us were loud through first night but after we called the front desk to bring it to their […] attention and their subsequent curtesy call to our neighbors, they stopped. We needed a quick get-a-way for our sanity and so glad we found Extended Stay Deluxe Corpus Christi - Staples which we didn't know existed and was very satisfied and happy we chose to stay there. Our first night was very frustrating; after having been on the road for four hours we arrived at the hotel only to be given a room that had not been cleaned. The bed still had the used sheets and blankets; the iron and ironing board were on the floor, etc. And we had payed for a room with a kitchenette, and that one did not have one. We were then given […] a larger room (comfortable & clean) but it did not have a DVD player like the one we payed for should have had. We asked for a DVD player, and received the player with the wires only to find that the television in this room did have the outlets needed for attaching a player.
