Friendly staff, shuttle to sea tac train free :) used laundry service, very good facilities.

The room was really clean and the space was not cramped but the towels were rough and the bed extremely hard. It was like sleeping on 2 box springs. I don't understand why some hotels won't buy nicer towels or better mattresses.

"You get what you pay for."
It was a place to sleep and shower. You get what you pay for. I kept getting kicked off the "free" internet. And the bed had the hardest mattress I ever slept on in my life. Walls were thin- noisy on Saturday night. Room was clean, but very dated. On the other hand, it was clean and I felt safe, and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. No cigarette […] smell or musty air detected (THANK YOU!!!) Amenities were slim- only soap, had to request hair dryer, etc. You could pretty much get what you needed if you asked. I said I would recommend this to others- but only to people on a budget seeking a very basic place to just sleep and shower.... and those who can handle the world's hardest mattress. Læs mere
"Good for the price"
Hotel decent for the price and staff @ front desk very friendly..............would stay again! Bathroom appeared to be newly reno'd
The room was badly in need of re-furbishing, there was a hole in the mattress with a spring exposed, the kitchinette counter was stained and dirty, the wall and door had who knows what type of some filth on it. The motel mad hookers in and out all the time I was there. I would not recommend this motel to anybody. I cut my stay short.

The Crossland isn't a bad place to stay. In fact this is the second time I've stayed here on business. The room was clean, and it's nice to have a kitchen. Perhaps this would be better if you plan on staying longer than a day. Only 2 cons I can really think of: The beds weren't super comfy and the TV was a bit small. "No sleep"
Couldn't sleep a bit. Hotel has absolutely zero insulation or any soundproofing. I heard every car that drove by and could hear all the surrounding rooms tv's. The bed was ridiculously loud, almost like a plastic mat. Would NOT recommend this to anyone.

We didnt have very much money when we needed to go to Seattle and I found this nice motel in an easy to get to spot. The employees were very friendly and the room was clean and in a very safe area of tacoma.

The room was in great condition except the cookware was unuseable. I anticipated making my family pancakes in the morning with the cookware that was supposably included with the room. The pans were in horrible condition and there was no cooking utensils.

To start are stay, we reserved and paid for a room for a pet. They asked us what kind of dog we had and informed them it was a long hair Chihuahua. They found a room for us that was pet friendly and charged our credit card for that room. Upon arrival which was at 6:15 we were charged an extra $25/night for the dog. It was after 6 so it was too late […] to cancel the reservation. We had no choice but to pay an extra $56. The room was terrible. If there was enough room on the floor, it would of been better to sleep on the floor. The floor would of been softer than the bed we slept on and at midnight we woke up to the neighbors fighting and breaking stuff in the room next to us. The room was sound prof. We did not here the neighbors or the freeway. The bed was hard and not very comfortable. The room was ok but very small. Guest service was great. Bed could use more pillows and better blankets.

I think I might have been more satisfied if the room was cleaner. There were a pile of dead bugs on the table in the room, it was not vacuumed, the bathroom floor was dirty and the garbage not emptied. I was too tired to move so I just went to sleep.

"Surprise! A kitchenette!"
This was a pretty nice place to stay. The bathroom was nice with a large shower. There was even a place to sit to make shaving easier for the ladies or if you have trouble standing. The room was of a decent size and the beds were comfortable. What I didn't realize when making the reservation was we had a kitchenette in our room. "crossland in Tacoma. not so hot"
The carpet looked extremely icky...didn't want to walk on it in my stocking feet, let alone bare feet. Shower and sinks and toilet were clean, however. Bedspread? Not so sure. Just to be safe, I stayed far away from it. the mattresses were extremely hard...uncomfortably so. But the staff was nice and location was good.

"It's Like Sleeping On Concrete"
I wasn't horribly disappointed in this hotel at first, the room was clean enough, only smelled a little, and I liked that the rooms had kitchenettes. All was fine until it was time to go to bed. In fact, I've been trying to sleep for the past hour and a half but I may as well be sleeping on the floor. I've never been in a harder, more uncomfortable […] bed in my life. Well thank you hotel.com but my hotel choice was poor. I doubted that it would actually be what it was rated which was 2 stars. I thought it would be better. The room had dirty battered funiture, the mattress was hard, the floor carpet was wet, the room have a fowl smell and had to leave windows open to air out. Busy noise neighborhood. We had an ok stay, the beds are really hard, and the pillows flat. Our only real complain was that because we had booked through hotels.com, we could not get reciept.

room smelled, toilet handle came off after flushing, chair was broken, animal hair was everywhere, phone broken so couldnt call for maintenance had to walk back to main office to complain and was told nothing could be done til next day
"Cheap but you get what you pay for"
Hotel was secure, with key cards required to enter stairwells. Biggest complaint was a very smelly bathroom and some sort of mold or such that I was highly allergic to.

"Budget Plus"
Hotel was fine for our needs. 2 Star hotel with no frills. No housekeeping available, except once a week. Only enough coffee for 1 day, but towels for two. Just an average hotel, but the price was right.

Hotel was centrally located in the state and near the interstate and a major side road. We stayed at other hotels near an interstate that were not as noisy. Neat and clean. Major problem needed another mirror. The only mirror was in the bathroom. The price is cheap and so are the beds. The beds are hard like plywood and foam and squeak with EVERY turn or movement that you make on them.

Very disappointed in cleanliness and security of this hotel. I booked three rooms for friends and I to attend a conference. Found q-tips on the floor, foot prints on the bathroom floor; torn carpet, etc. Each room had problems.

I was traveling on a tight budget and decided to go with the cheapest in the area. Hotel was very no frills but was clean enough for me. had 2 queens but were hard as the floor and loud (sqweaky at every move). was clean and everything worked as it should have. neighborhood was not recommendable, but you get what you pay for! it was close to my destination and easy access to i-5 or i would have stayed elsewhere for more money.
"Great Hotel"
I checked in past closing hours and checked out after the 11AM deadline, and was not fined any money. In fact, the staff was kind and courteous to my visiting schedule and accommodated it the best they could. The rooms are also very livable, as this is an extended stay hotel, so it was exactly the kind of place I would stay again.
