The carpet in room 113 was worn and needs to be replaced. Otherwise the room was great and spacious. Noticed in the pool area the tile surrounding the pool was very slick when it was wet. Should be replaced with a different tile. While in the pool on 2 separate occasions I witnessed 4 different people fall including myself due to the slick floor and […] one child ended up with a bloody lip while walking into the pool area. Whenever I stay somewhere I always try to find a Springhill Suites. I alway know what I'm getting. I have never had a bad experience. My only complaint was the time it took to get downtown. That had nothing to do with the hotel though. Kinda far out and traffic was bad some of the time. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast is always nice. It was a nice hotel, but we were disappointed that the pool was very small, the hot tub was being brought up to code, and the hotel was rather small (hallways, room, pool, etc). Breakfast was okay, but eggs were round premade patties, and there was no sausage, bacon, etc. For this price range, we have found other hotels in St Louis we like better.

We spent one night at this hotel in Chesterfield, Mo. The location was easy to find and close to a mall. The biggest negative about our room was the heating system. It was cold in our room even when we turned the heat up. We found one blanket that was meant to be used for the hide-a-bed that helped but the floor stayed very cold. The walls were thin […] and you could hear conversations and toilets flushing. Another negative was the breakfast which was "just OK." The juice was watered down and there was no bread for toasting, just bagels. If we were to stay in this area again I would look for a different hotel but if nothing else was available this one would be a "just OK" place. If you are looking for a clean room with a comfortable bed and you are not too particular about other things give it a try. Læs mere

This property is just OK for travelers, and is not worth the high price. My family and I booked a room with two queen beds and a pull-out sofa. The condition of the hotel seems outdated, and the outside appearance is also just decent. The beds were OK, but the curtains did a poor job of keeping the light out. The pull-out sofa bed was old and dirty, […] and barely sleepable. The bathroom was very small, with one small sink area outside the bathroom. There is a small fridge and small microwave in the room, with two pretty nice TVs. The breakfast is average at best. The location is only about 25 miles outside of St. Louis, which was convenient. Tis hotel is located directly off the interstate 20 min outside downtown St. Louis. I stay 20 min from downtown (my city) . The staff was friendly, & the room was large. The bed is plenty soft, & the alarm clock has an ipod dock. They had enough towels in stock. Oh, and walking across the carpet, without shoes, is an experience you will have to fell […] yourself. Room was very nice and clean. However, the refridgerator froze my drinks. There was a review that mentioned an odd placement for the TV. While I could see th TV from both rooms, it's a little tough from the bed room. A TV on the wall in the bedroom part would be perfect. Wasn't impressed with the restaraunt next to the hotel.

I book corporate travel, so I am rarely the one who is actually staying at the hotel. One of my business partners was having a birthday the next day and we wanted to do something special for him and the others staying overnight. I called the Front Desk and Stacy was so sweet and helpful. I ordered cupcakes for them and she made sure they were delivered […] to his room so that he would be surprised when they all returned from their business meeting. We had a great experience, from thhe time we checked in until the time we left. We had a special request for adjoining rooms booked on Expedia and we weren't sure if that would work out as the hotel was quite full. The continental bfast was great, hotel was clean, staff was great!

The second time I have stayed at this property and have found it to be comfortable, clean and affordable. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Continental breakfast was good. Overall, a fine place to stay.

Stayed for 4 days had a great time with family...Rooms were clean and up to date 2 Flat Screen TV's one in sittring area 1 in bedroom...Service & desk staff were terrific and would stay there again if in that area...

Nice hotel in a very convenient part of St. Louis. Had our grandchildren with us (ages 7 and 4) and we were able to entertain them in the pool. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of shopping and eating in the immediate area.

Stay was very uncomfortable. Room was very cold as AC thermostat appeared broken. Could not adjust Cooling and had to turn off AC Cooling and just use the fan. All four of us were cold and oncomfortable, I have stayed at several SpringHill hotels in the past and never experienced any issues. While the hotel was a nice enough, and the staff very helpful, two issues made the quality of the stay (two nights) less than we had hoped. First, when we arrived in the room after check-in, we noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. Since this is supposed to be a non-smoking property, it was an unwelcome surprise. The odor was very […] noticable in the shower curtain and the towels. Second, the breakfast was disappointing: the first morning was strange egg circles with gravy, but the biscuits were cold, and stacked with the other breads; the second day was the same mystery eggs with sausage patties. The other choices were the normal quick breakfast fare: self-made waffles, cold cereal and various breads. The one highlight of breakfast was the oatmeal. This hotel was great. Breakfast met all of our needs (healthy fruit and yogurt along with sausage and eggs for the kids). The fitness room had two treadmills and an elliptical machine along with free weights. There are two computers available. The hotel was in a great area and located fairly close to all of the attractions we visited in St. Louis.

When I booked this hotel I was under the impression that there was a DOOR that shut between the two rooms with beds. We stayed the night at Spring Hill Suites with our two young children. The hotel was immaculately clean and we were thrilled with the nice space in our studio room. We had a nice fridge, microwave and sink in the front room. It is nice that there is even a towel for dishes as well as some paper plates with utensils. We enjoyed biscuits and gravy, eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, fruit, etc. The staff was very nice and accommodating. There is a nice casual restaurant (sports bar and grill) next door that is an easy walk across the parking lot. Our only complaint is that the pool is rather small and the hot tub was closed while we were there. With both of our children in floaties, we felt like we took up most of the pool. The pool is indoors, but there is a nice outdoor area with lounge chairs if one wants to lay out and get some sun. This was a hotel with great comfort, relaxing decor, and a well manicured area of the city. It was a little bit of a drive for us to get to this hotel, but we chose it based on price and recommendations. The reviews were spot on. This was an awesome relaxing night's stay with some extra room to put the kids to bed and still sit down and unwind before […] bed.
