Super beliggenhed, hyggeligt, men noget usikker service på hotellet :)

Hotellet er beliggende således man har en god udsigt til Lake Tahoe. Vores værelse no. 22 indeholdt 2 separate soveværelser, opholdsstue med køkken, og pænt badeværelse. Fantastisk udsigt fra terrassen ved værelset. Personalet er meget venlige og service er god. Om aften brugte vi de opstillet grill, til vores mad som vi spise sammen med andre af hotellets gæster, og sad ved de opstillet bænke og stole, efterfølgende blev der tændt bål - god måde at komme i kontakt med andre gæster og hyggeligt. Vi havde et fantastisk ophold, og kan stærkt anbefale hotellet - spørg efter værelserne fra 20 og op de ligger bedst placeret.

I give it 2 for friendly staff, I think for the price this hotel is not worth it. When we entered our room the room was not cleaned and there were stuff from previous guests in the room (bottle of wine, bag of snacks, etc.) we asked to go to another room and we got another room, however this room looked like not being completely cleaned either and there […] were hairs in the bathtub. In addition number of parking spots does not seem to be proportional to the number of rooms as we had to park (with their permission) in the handicap parking. Læs mere
"Very clean, comfortable, well located hotel"
For the price, I can't imagine a better place to stay for a ski weekend. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and casinos, 5 minute drive to Heavenly. The breakfast was lackluster, but that's my only complaint.

"Poor management"
I had made a mistake and booked my stay for the wrong date. The date i org. booked it for pass and i didnt knw it until i got a request to rate my stay there at the hotel. I never checked in or was even near Tahoe. Called the front desk,and explained to them the situation, I live out of state Arkansas and am visiting family in Cali then taking my own […] family for the holiday to Tahoe. 3kids whom never seen snow and just go enjoy a 2 days gettaway. I ask for some type of refund, or at least add the money they took and add it to my real check in date. they said they couldn't do anything and will only give me a 100 discount but not during the holiday. in which are the only days i will be in Tahoe,m so basically they knew i wasn't going to be around anyways so they offered a bogus discount cuz they knew i could never use it. Its the Holidays and they couldn't even see it in there heart and help me out. So eventually i had to,lose 300$ and book with another hotel. Læs mere
"Needs room for breakfast eating area not adequate"
Nice hotel on main road but we were unaffected as right at back of hotel, clean and comfortable, ideal for skiing as right by lifts etc. Next to shopping area and not too far to drive to lake. 2 minutes from Nevada border.

"Good location but not worth the money"
For the price you pay @ this hotel...you would be better off paying a few more bucks and upgrading to a Mariott or Harrahs. The room was too small [compared to what was depicted in the pictures!!!!] and there was absolutely no privacy thanks to transparent white curtains!!! We had to make do by covering up the windows with a blanket. The staff was superficially […] courteous . But the place is conveniently located. Læs mere

"Holiday Inn Express was close to stateline."
The Holiday Inn Express was nothing fancy, but it was clean, comfortable (with the exception of the pillows), and ideally located. They had a nice breakfast, too.
"Plesant Stay"
There is nothing extraordinary about the hotel. Good service and quiet rooms - worth the price i paid. The front desk people are nice. The breakfast was not great.

hotel is located conveniently close to the heavenly gondola. breakfast is included and has a fairly good selection, including an automatic pancake machine! staff is very friendly and helpful. didn't use it, but has an indoor spa. i think we got one of the larger rooms and it was great for the price! very satisfied with this stay.

Great hotel with good breakfast. Only downfall~Hot tub/spa is only accessible by walking outside. Not too fun in the winter.

We stayed here in a pinch on a trip to South Lake. I think you know what to expect when you stay at a chain like this, but we were actually pretty impressed. Good and quick breakfast provided before a day of skiing is a plus. Recently renovated bathrooms and a great hot tub.

We loved this hotel. Close to everything, very clean and comfortable. Impressed with breakfast. (most places just have only breads, this place serves eggs bacon oatmeal)

"Great Place to stay."
We spent two days in early August in South Lake Tahoe and it was the best part of our 10 day Northern Californis road-trip. We upgraded to a larger room with two queen beds and the room was huge and had plenty of room to spread our 5 large luggages. Only thing I didn't like was the TV. It was and old TV and the remote didn't work. It didn't matter much […] to us anyway because we were enjoying the lake and the mountains all day and spent a few minutes in the heated pool before hitting the sheets. Beach, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Entire Lake Tahoe area has very limitted parking and most places charge a lot. It is better to walk. Læs mere
"Great Hotel in South Lake Tahoe"
We arrived at the hotel approximately 6:30 pm and were immediately greeted and given our room key. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room is very clean, and the refridgerator and microwave came in handy. All the employees were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very close to all shops and casinos. Overall had a great stay and will definetly stay there again.

Based on the price we could have paid $10 more a night and stayed in a resort style hotel so i did not feel this was a great value. At a lower price point it would be a better value
