Extended Stay America - Dallas - Las Colinas - Green Park Dr - Irving

I appreciated the management team. My room was too far away from the main floor. The room had an aroma unfamiliar to me. The accommodations were very good. The location was excellent.

Carpet in property is tired and dirty. Not a good impression to get getting off the elevator. Furniture is tired in rooms as well.

Only had coffee in the morning no breakfast. My room was dirty when I checked in. The iron was covered in some melted plastic. There were little bugs all over the room for the first few days. The first floor window did not lock. And there were long black hairs in the towels and tub. Drawers all had dirt in them or trash and even after they cleaned they […] left the trash can full. The staff was great. The hotel looks good on the outside. The rooms are past time to be upgraded. The bathroom cabinets were terribly scratched up and worn. There were rust stains in the bathtub and the tile needed new grouting done. The recliner in the room was cracked and worn our badly. The beds were clean. Time for a major upgrade!

Room was clean. Access to and from highway was convenient simply a good experience.

The room was spacious, however, there were no soaps, shampoos, etc. In the room. I found a kids toy next to my bed, which tells me they didn't clean well. The mattress and pillows were old and uncomfortable and the blanket bed cover was old and almost disintegrating as pieces were falling off it as I used it. The hallways and room smelled bad. There were 3 doors and the locks were broken on 2. The entry ways were dirty and in very poor repair. The kitchen had no dishes or bowls and only utensils for 1. There was trash around the entrances to the building. The TV was snowy. The staff was friendly. The hours for the breakfast were too late for me on Friday […] and nonexistent on the weekend. Upon entering building the smell takes one back to India. The smell of curry was overwhelming. will not be back..

1. Management does not replenish breakfast and tries to cut corners by closing 30 min earlier than stated time 2. Rooms are generally unclean 3. Poor coordination between house keeping and front desk 4. Half the stuff is falling apart TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT - PLEASE AVOID

check in was SLOW! After a slow check in she didn't tell us what building we were in and we didn't know there were 2 buildings.. So after a wild goose chase we went back and asked and they told us we were in the buliding next door.. When we get to the other building our keys wouldn't open the door to the building.. So we had to walk back across the […] parking lot to get the keys redone.. When I got to my room, my non smoking room reaked of smoke.. So I had to walk back across the parking lot and get another room assigned to me.. As I left main building before walking back across parking lot to my new room, I check my key at the outside door and it didn't work either.. SO I went back inside and had to get rekeyed again.. Finally walked back across parking lot to my new room and it was fine.. Rooms could use updating or in particular the cabinets could use refinishing.. But room was comfortable and staff was nice.. Check in was difficult for some reason? Took three phone calls to ?? with questions. Asked for a first floor room (traveling with a pet). Given a 3rd floor room at the opposite end of the hall from the elevator. Longest possible walk to pet area which wasn't marked. Reserved a Non-smoking. Room smelled of smoke & an ash tray was in the kitchen cabinet. […] Our key timed out 35 minutes early while we were packing the car, locking us out of our room while we were trying to load the car in the rain. Had to walk to the office in the next building to get a new key & rush to make check-out deadline. Left a 1/2 a refrigerator of food & drink we were so rushed. Not impressed with the staff, the "service" or the room. Did not receive any additional towels for our 3 day stay. We will not stay here again. Rates were reasonable, but we will pay more elsewhere to hopefully get better service. Læs mere

Rooms and carpets badly need updating. Cracked tiles in bathrooms to huge chips and stains in bathtub. Smelly corridors. The reservation form that I signed at the reception had a phrase "run of the mill". I am not sure if it described the type of horrible room I was allotted or that I was only an occasional guest to Extended stay deluxe.

Light bulb missing from bed lamp. Dvd player unable to play movies due to antique Tv without proper jack. rented some movie to view when we saw a dvd player that appeared to be connected to the tv. But was disappointed and regerted renting the movies when I discovered the problem. Front desk was notified to see if they could change the tv to one that […] could connect with the dvd player. Very nice hotel. Only problem room was for 6 people they would only give out towels for four people. Leaving us two towels short. Othewise a very nice hotel.

Everything was nice. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The amenities were great. The $4.99 internet activation fee was totally wrong. The Clerk allowed access for free, but the connections was slow. The continental breakfast was minimal and lacking. The other guests staying in the building I was in had NO respect for their surroundings. Yelling […] up and down the hallway to each other and speaking very loudly as they walked the hallway. Other than the foolish fee for internet access and the breakfast and noise, it was a pleasant stay. Læs mere

We only stayed one night and found the amount of space a lot nicer than staying at a standard hotel. I'd definitely stay at an Extended Stay again if the price was right.
