We found two bugs in our bed which we thought might be bedbugs and awoke with red bites on our legs. Also, the attendant woman at breakfast was not very courteous.
I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Express nationwide.

We took a four day trip to Cleveland. The hotel was ideal for what we did. It was convenient to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and The Zoo. The staff was very friendly and when asked for directions they were able to help.

It is a very nice hotel. It is a bit of walk inside the place but it's extremely nice and the breakfast was great.

This Holiday Inn Express seemed like it was probably the oldest, and most in need of renovation of any HIE that I've encountered. Certainly not bad, but definitely not as nice as I have come to expect. This one is ready for renovation.

nice little pool that they keep nice and warm. perfect for the 3yr old. may be a bit small for older kids or if heavily populated but perfect for us. nice staff. great breakfast. will stay again.

Location is great for pre/post airport travel as they offer a shuttle service. However, the hotel could stand a face lift. Dated room decorum can sometimes present a less than clean feel...worn is worn.

Overall : Just average. 2 star motel. Good things: Friendly staff. Plenty of parking spaces. Bad things: Reception area uninviting. Pillows very thick and uncomfortable. Burnt my hands using the hot water.

"Easy stay"
I stayed here while passing through town and was very pleased with the service, the complimentary breakfast and the cleanliness of the room.

Overall we had a good experience with this hotel. The breakfast was nice and changed daily. During the week there were evening snacks like fresh cookies, hot soup and even pizza in the lobby for guests. The pool was a little too warm for our liking, but it was clean and well kept. Our worst complaint was our bed situation. We had paid for and reserved […] Queen sized beds but only got Full sized beds. It just made sleeping cramped and uncomfortable. Also we had a slight problem with the in room refridgerator. At first it was much too cold and freezing all the food and drinks we had brought and then after calling maintenace it wasn't cooling at all. The fridge and microwave could definatley have used some updating. On the bright side the rooms were nice an clean, the air conditioning was truly a blessing in the scorching Cleveland heat, and the business room allowed us access to a computer to check on directions to different attractions and print them out. This hotel was very nice for the price and the amenities it included. I would recommend this hotel to others. Læs mere

"do not recommend"
Our hotel room had a strong smell of cigarettes, We called the front desk and they offered to "come spray the room" but it was late and we declined. The air conditioning technically worked but it was very muggy and never got very cool although we turned it down to as low a temperature as it would go. Between the smell and room temp it made sleeping […] difficult. There is really not much around the hotel and it is in a less than desirable part of town. The only plus would be its proximity to the airport. We'd stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Indiana earlier in the week and had been impressed with what a fantastic hotel it was, only to be sorely disappointed with this location. "Holiday Inn Express Brook Park Ohio"
The hotel and rooms were clean and looked very new. The free breakfast had enough variety for both of us. The hotel is located next to a residential neighborhood so there was a good place to walk after we had dinner across the street. The only negative of the hotel was the paperthin walls and ceiling. There was a fair amount of noise above us as well […] as bedside us. There was also a fair amount of road noise next to the hotel (not the hotel's fault). Room was great and staff was friendly. Was surprised with quality of breakfast. Breakfast was hot and fresh. There was also food in the evenings, which was unexpected.

I HAD AND ISSUE WITH THE COMMODE AND WAS SWITCHED TO ANOTHER ROOM, ONLY AFTER I WAS VERY VERY ADAMANT AND HAD TO PROVE TO THE MANAGER THAT MY COMMODE DID NOT FLUSH! AFTER HE LOOKED AT IT AND INSISTED THEY WERE ALL THAT WAY; AND I MEAN THIS COMMODE SWIRLED, BACKED UP, ALMOST OVERFLOWED, THEN SEEPED BACK TO NORMAL. BY THE WAY, THIS WAS DISCOVERED UPON […] MY INITIAL CHECK WHICH I ALWAYS DO AT ANY HOTEL I STAY AT. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THE COMMODE! I WAS CHECKING OPERATION OF THE COMMODE AND SHOWER, ETC. I HAD TO TAKE HIM MYSELF TO THEIR PUBLIC RESTROOM AND AN ADJACENT ROOM TO SHOW HIM THAT THE OTHER COMMODES WORKED JUST FINE IN ORDER TO CONVINCE HIM TO GIVE ME ANOTHER ROOM. "Close to Airport and NASA/Glenn"
This was a very comfortable hotel, in good shape. The pool was very warm and enjoyable on a cold rainy night. The breakfast lady was nice, kept it all stocked up and hot, let us know when she was closing up. Only problem was that the internet was down in the rooms and on the computer in the business center our entire stay. Last weekend we stayed at this hotel and this is our second time in two months. Everything was great again. The room clean and the bed comfortable. We didn't have breakfast for the lack of time on our part. The hotel employees are very friendly, nice and very helpful. The surrounding area is great, plenty of places to eat. Giant Eagle is close by for […] picking up extra items of food or snack, and the rooms have refrigerator and microwave. This is absolutely a great place to stay and great value for the money spent. "Good room for the money"
We had a king size room. Found the room to be clean and neat. Bed comfortable. Breakfast could have lasted longer, 9:30am ending on weekends to short as most people sleep in. Pool and spa clean. Only problem was TV could be updated. TV kept going snowy. Front desk could not correct the problem.

Our stay was very pleasant. We booked 3 rooms because we were traveling with family to attend a wedding in the area. The rooms were good and clean, the beds were comfortable. The pool/jacuzzi clean and very enjoyable. We didn't even use our laptop because we ended up using the computer from the business room to look up some addresses we forgot to do […] at home. The breakfast was great and very good selections both mornings. The exercise room was small but have all the equipment that our group needed. The staff was very friendly. All of us were very satisfied with our stay.We have to be in the area again in about a month for another wedding and we will be staying over here again. Læs mere
