I don't know why a hotel of this quality is sitting in the middle of undeserving Blairsville, GA. I have family in the area, but there are no obvious attractions in the town that would attract any great amount of tourism. I am perplexed how a hotel of this quality is built up in a what's practically a ghost town. We were staying at the hotel the night before a trail running race. We had to get up very early in the morning well before the breakfast cafe was going to open. The staff of the hotel set out some supplies for us so that we would still be able to get coffee, hot water, oatmeal etc. before leaving for our event. Above and beyond!

The Hotel was somewhat hard to find. We didn't have a microwave in our room for the popcorn we were going to eat. Our bed was lumped and soft and we both woke up with backaches. The room was clean though.

My grandchildren and I enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. The employees were all very helpful.

We stayed at the Express while visiting Helen during Oktoberfest. I knew it was going to be a rough stay when upon checking in I learned the two rooms I reserved were on separate floors and not even close in proximity. I made the reservations 2 months in advance, come on now there's no excuse for that. I was, thankfully, able to swindle us into rooms […] on the same floor, but not near each other. Isn't that one of the reasons we make early reservations in the first place? Anyhow, the rooms seemed tidy and there were security cameras everywhere so I guess we were supposed to feel safe. My in-laws room seemed just fine, but the room I stayed in had a broken remote, lights weren't working, and the bathroom air vent was broken. The room (112) had a foul smell to it as well. place was dirty, looked dirty. The owner called to tell me I'd left a small pillow and he could ship it for $25, give me a break! I would never stay there ever again and I am in a position to recommend this hotel to many friends but won't. Break in to many trucks on the parking lot the night before we left. My fiancee and I stayed only stayed overnight, however the room was nice and overall peaceful. I would deffinately stay again.

Very clean comfortable room. High-pressure, hot shower. Indoor pool was nice in the fall. Somewhat difficult to find as it is far back from the road. (up a hill, behind trees).

A comfortable and inexpensive place to stay....the no smoking rooms are segregated behind closed glass doors at the end of the corridor...a major plus for us. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room and bathroom was very clean.

Room was clean, the bed was one of the best in a hotel setting that I ever had in my room, slept like a baby which is pretty unusual on the first night. We were in town for a friends 50th wedding anniversary, and it was a short walk from the hotel with it being held in the new Union County Chamber Building. Great place to stay! Beautiful golf course behind the hotel! We made pictures of the fall foliage from there. Very clean, great staff, good breakfast! Close to reataurants! Would definitly stay there again if in the area!

The only issue that I have is the Check-in time. it is clearly stated that the check in time is 3:00pm. We arrived and tried to check in at 2:35. I was told that I would have to wait until 3:00. It is not like we were trying to check in a couple of hours early, only 25 min. I think management should be more flexible. We really enjoyed our romantic weekend getaway. The hotel was updated, clean and comfortable. My only dissapointment was that there wasn't a hot tub to go along with the indoor pool. Hotel staff was very nice as well.

The staff was most kind- suggesting restaurants and directions, and very hospitable. The room was clean and so comfortable, smelled nice, and had super-comfy bedding.

The hotel was very homey and clean. The office staff members were polite and helpful. The continental breakfast was good. The room was clean and it was nice to have a small fridge available. However, it was a little loud cycling on and off all night. The air conditioning did not cool off our room as much as we would have liked. The indoor pool was clean […] and well maintained. We were put in a smoking room as there was not a non-smoking room available with 2 beds. On expedia I wasn't given a choice as to non-smoking or smoking room. The room REALLY smelled of smoke. My sister and I went out and bought a room deodorizer for our 3 day stay. It helped a little. I have stayed in motels before in a smoking room and they had already […] had it deodorized so as new as this motel is I am surprised it smelled of smoke so bad. The rooms were kept very nice and everything else was just great. The breakfast was very good and the staff was wonderful. THE HOTEL WAS ALMOST NEW LOOKING. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD WITH EGGS AND BACON WITH JUICE AND COFFEE.THE ONLY THING THAT COULD BE IMPROVED WAS THE CARPET HAD A FEW STAINS.COULD BE STEAM CLEANED. I'M DIABETIC AND THERE WAS A SMALL FRIG TO KEEP MY INSULIN IN,THERE WAS NO MICROWAVE OVEN.OVER ALL I RATE IT VERY GOOD.

the other reviews were correct, this hotel is very modern, extremely clean, flat TV and WIFI in rooms, great beds and pillows, fridge in room, quiet rooms, heated indoor pool, nice breakfast, decent coffee, central to the city and highways, would definitely stay here again. HIE in Blairsville, Ga was our home for a short stay. Good size room, nicely decorated with large bathroom. Bathroom needed a fan but the shower was awesome (very important to my husband). Loved our stay.

The receptionist was exeptionally nice and the hotel very clean. The breakfast wasn't the greatest. The eggs tasted like powder eggs. I would give the hotel an A, but the kitchen crew a C on mannerism. My understanding was that breakfast lasted until 9:00a.m., but when my husband and I arrived around 8:30a.m.; we felt like we were imposing. There was […] no bacon or sausage left. One of the ladies from the kitchen stated the meat was frozen and she would have to defrost to cook and it would be sausage only. we stayed 6 nights at this hotel & the sheets on the bed were not changed during the entire stay, one day we had no bath mat & they did not pick up the dirty towels but left clean ones, the staff were very friendly, the bed was very comfortable, had a lot to choose from for breakfast, we would stay here again.

The hotel was clean and in a safe neighborhood. The staff was very friendly, and the room was very spacious. We only had a couple of small problems. First, the AC did not cool the room to my liking. It wasn't that hot in there but I wish the AC could have cooled the room better. Second, the ice machine was a few doors down from us in the hallway. You […] could hear the loud noise every time some got ice out of the machine. There were several rec league baseball players' families staying there so the machine was being used often in the early am while we were trying to sleep. I think the machine should be moved to a location that will not interfere with the sleep of the guests. We were in town for a family event and several of our group stayed at this hotel. It could use some updating, especially the carpet, but overall it was a clean and comfortable hotel. The worst part was that cigarette smoke came through the bottom of the door at night. We had to put a towel under the door. It was a "no smoking" hall. There was no microwave in the room, which was a real inconvenience and the window was filled with old condensation between the glass so you could not see out very well.
