We stayed here for a bachelorette party - it is a beautiful hotel, rooms are ample in size and quality, but when ready for bed @ 2am, we could still hear the people next door partying. We turned on the TV to drown them out. I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue on a week night, but it was buzzing on a Saturday night.

Good location. Hotel staff nice. Restaurant was pricey and wait staff was rude. We found a moldy washcloth stuck between the sheets on one of the beds (as though it got stuck while in the laundry). I would stay there again.

I found the hotel very nice overall. The Raddison, which is a couple of blocks away has more amenities for the same price.

Only issue was checking in at 5:00pm and my room was yet to be ready for me to check in to. Waited about 15 minutes for the room to be cleaned....otherwise, my stay was great

Great hotel with a very helpful staff. Great location close to everything.

heat wasn't working, but they fixed it quite fast. our truck did not fit in the ramp so we had to park outside on a lot three blocks away. the good thing is that is was nice out. one nice part; it only cost us $3 instead of $11. no, we don't have a lift kit or anything, but the rack didn't fit by about an inch. i bet we could have made it, but why […] risk it? if it its winter we will drive our car. We got a great deal on Hotels.com for this hotel which included a very nice sit-down breakfast at the cafe in the hotel. The hotel itself is located in the middle of downtown Minneapolis with easy access to all kinds of things from shows to restaurants to pro basketball, baseball or football. The room itself was comfortable, but a bit "snug" and came […] with the usual amenities. Our only complaint with the hotel was some night-time noise - seems to be an issue anywhere we've stayed recently and in fact this was more tolerable than some others. Seems that people don't come to hotels to sleep! Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and the Crowne Plaza worked very well as a home base for us - and with a similar deal would not hesitate to return. Læs mere

Went on hotels.com and book room whats the point of 100.00 credit card deposit when i can put down 500.00 cash deposit and it better hotels in the same area tht will take cash deposit will never stay here again!!!

Paid discount price for this hotel and was not disappointed. Very nice, large room with high end bedding and friendly staff. Close to everything downtown.

Though it was a very nice stay our last night there they had a bunch of young kids or students check in let them run and scream through the halls, clog up the lobby and just all around didn't quiet them down just let them run out of control. Would think out of respect for other guest and complaints they had gotten that they would have took force and […] quieted them down but they did not. Læs mere

With lots of one-way streets, at night, I drove in downtown Minneapolis for nearly two hours to find the hotel. Being frustrated/grouchy/edgy, finally I called the hotel for directions. To my surprise, Anita, the hotel staff, was very kind/patient with me, not only gave me free upgrade to the top executive floor (17th), she even took me to my room in […] person. I got a great deal on this hotel...but it was during the MN high school basketball tourney, and the hotel was filled with very noisy high school students. Obviously not the hotel's fault, but it was a bit disruptive. The room was really nice, but the walls were thin and I could hear the conversation in the room next door until well after midnight. Great hotel and location. Wonderful service.

We are not satisfied because we need to pay the parking. Inside the room no refrigerator, no microwave, no free internet. I've been to other hotel around but they have everything and less charge for the room per night then in the morning we got the free breakfast. Clean and nice rooms in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can park your car for $11 per night (hotel rate.)

Nice hotel but no mini fridge, no pool, no hot tub. Not worth the price.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Check in was a breeze and they were very helpful with anwsering questions. When we called to see if they had a wine openeer they brought it up to our room! Would highly recomend

We checked into the hotel with no problems and enjoyed our nights stay. I did find it very inconvenient that there was not an ice machine on every floor- it was every other floor. The only problem we encountered was a VERY rude woman at the front desk named Catherine. We had a question on parking validation and as we were talking she RUDELY interrupted […] us in a very curt tone- " I asked what FLOOR you were parked on!" I was shocked by the overt nastiness and she could tell by the look on my face. She quickly sweetened up her tone but TOO late lady the damage was done. I had a very pleasant stay, aided by kind and helpful service staff and a very hardworking cleaning lady on my level. Only negative point is the lack of a bar fridge (extra USD25 charge). Breakfast was ok. Very convenient location if you're in downtown Minneapolis for business. Convention centre is only 10 minutes away. Lots of nice cafes bars and restaurants […] in the vicinity. It took me three hours to locate a coin laundry that looked safe, and get the stuff done. Could have been a breeze @ hotel--signage was still up, but no washy washy.

Great Hotel! Front Desk staff were the best at any place I've ever stayed at. My wife and I ran the Twin Cities Marathon. She was sick afterwards, and the front desk allowed us to extend our already extended late check out. On top of that, they offered her crackers, water, etc. Over the top service. We highly recommend Crowne Plaza Northstar.

We were away from home for seven nights. We stayed here the first night of our vacation while attending a few Twins games. This was by far the most comfortable room room we had. We also stayed in Carlton, Duluth and LaCrosse. Great front desk, relaxing lounge after the game and a wonderful nights sleep.

My family and I stayed here for a Twins game. We were close to shopping and within walking distance to Target field. The hotel was clean and comfortable and staff was great. Not a lot of family-friendly restaurants close but hotel has a restaurant and room service. It's close to the light rail and other public transportation. The parking ramp was cramped […] so not ideal if you need to use your car frequently during your stay. Overall, a very comfortable stay. Læs mere

We had a bachelorette party at the hotel, they were very accommodating. We didn’t have one problem at all!!

Hotel was clean, front desk personnel were nice (especially Anita!), room was nice, and surrounding area of hotel was perfect. Great stay.

The hotel was very convenient for the Twins/Tigers games we went to. The skywalks downtown were great Did not have to go outside to get any where The staff was friendly. The only negative was the breakfast that was part of the package. The extra 20.00 a night was not worth it. The prices were very high and the food was not that great.

The hotel front desk was difficult to find. The room was very clean & the bed was VERY comfortable!

The hotel is in walking distance from the Target Center, which is very convenient when attending an event there. The room was very modern and clean, and the bed is super comfortable. The pull-out couch, however, was awful. I had requested a room with 2 queen beds and got one with a king instead, but was compensated with a couple free drinks from the […] hotel bar. I did not like the fact that we had to pay for the parking. I understand parking may be hard to come by but if you are a guest at the hotel I feel parking should be free. If this is not possible perhaps hiding the charge into the hotel price may be a better way of doing it. Thanks

Nice hotel but the parking was a nightmare! The parking garage low clearence and very tight parking places!! Good luck with an SUV!!!

Room was nice and clean. Staff was great. But the walls were paper thin. You could hear everything in the hallways and there were a lot of party goers going well into the morning. If you are there to sleep, I do NOT recommend.

sucks to have to pay parking when you are staying at such an expensive hotel. Should be included in my opinion.

The Crowne Plaza Minneapolis Northstar accommodates a vast array of wants and needs. Located in the heart of downtown, shopping, dining, and entertainment are merely blocks away! The great discount I received through Hotels.com kept my wallet full and I was able to stay at the hotel an additional night!
