Extended Stay America Tacoma - South - Tacoma

Hotel was close to my venue and the highlight was I got to spend some time with my nephews and the perk was a chuck e cheese across the street and the mall . So great weekend. Staff excellent towels were missing called front desk manager himself brought them up.

Overall very happy with my stay I was a little put off by parking locations, but not too bad. Also would have like a 24 hr front desk person for contact with problems/questions. I would stay there again.

This hotel is good for the price and it is sufficient. However the amenities are minimum: bathroom shower-head very old and makes noise; there is no business center; but wireless is sound. This hotel might want to think about getting a shuttle for those who need to go out in the Tacoma area and have no transportation (though the bus station is very […] conveniently located nearby). I'm surprised this location doesn't have a better rating. Customer Service is great. Nice location. Very clean. Upon reading reviews I already knew sign entrance wouldn't be clear, beds would firm which they surprisingly were but not uncomfortable. And no daily house keeping tho I understand because its got a full kitchen daily cleaning wouldn't make […] sense. It's one of the nicer places in the area. This hotel used the cheapest materials in the construction of the facility. As a result there were problems with the plumbing and fit & finish of the room. Only stay here if you need a low cost room and don't care abut anything else. Sorry to be so blunt.

The light fixture in my room did not work. Also a bit curious was housekeeping does not come by daily. They don't have toiletries stocked in the rooms and the you need to use the after hours phone if you check-in after 11:00p. It was fine otherwise. You pretty much get what you pay for and it was a convenient location for my needs.

One of the better hotels in this area for this price range (probably beats every hotel in Fife). Easy walk to a couple of restaurants and the mall. Clean hotel, but they charge for Internet and daily cleaning if you want it (they will clean once a week otherwise). First, the floor may be softer than the bed. Second, they could at least pretend to have cleaned and maybe used a little bleach. Considering the conditions, the staff was nice. The only staff I saw was the front desk. Probably why nothing seemed to have been cleaned properly. On the bright side, it is right across from the Tacoma mall and next door […] to best buy. Down 38th St on the opposite side of the mall is a Happy Teriyaki in a plaza, AMAZING food!!! I have lived in the area prior to this visit. I don't think anything in Tacoma is a "nice" area. It was difficult to find the driveway off of the main road. A sign is needed to mark the motel entrance off of 48th street.

The room was large with a full size refrigerator and stove top among other items. It was difficult to determine the entrance to the hotel from the main road and my bed was extremely firm. Other than that, my stay was pleasant as was the hotel and staff.

As the title indicates, the mattresses are slabs. A lttle difficult to get to as it is on a hill and the driveway is not well marked.

Pros: has a small kitchenette for cooking, quiet, comfortable bed, internet access (for a fee), right next to Tacoma mall. Cons: no fan in bathroom.

ハイウエィーのそばに有りながら、静かに宿泊出来ました。キッチンも清潔で使い易かったです。Tacoma Mall がすぐ前に有り、フォードマーケットも近くて便利でした。
