Extended Stay America Atlanta - Clairmont - Atlanta

Very p;leased with facility for one-night stay. Would recommend to friends.Very reasonably priced..good location.

We had a non-smoking room. But it smelled like someone had smoked out the room before we got there. The room was clean. The TV was the smallest I've seen in a hotel. Overall it was motel quality. I don't know if we will ever stay Extended Stay America anymore. It was just not what we expected.

It was a fairly decent hotel and close to where I needed to be. There were restaurants, grocery and pharmacy close by. Staff was friendly. It was good for the purpose that I needed it for.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I enjoyed the fact that a policeman was at the hotel by midnight and was there until early in the a.m. and you had to have a key to enter the hotel after the front desk closed. Some might see the previous things listed as bad, but I understood it because it is an extended stay, which is not your average hotel. The hotel was conveniently located off 85, easy to find and affordable. What really sucked however was that we were notified that housekeeping was only available if you stay 7 days or more and even then you have to pay extra to have your room cleaned. The hotel is also pet friendly which I discovered when I moved the bed to make room for my 1 year old […] to play... There was a pet turd under the bed. Honestly it would be impossible for any of the staff to have known unless the moved it but I think in the future they should make sure to check when guests with pets leave. Overall it me our needs(a place to sleep,shower and cook if needed) but I cant say that I would ever stay there again unless EVERYWHERE else in the area at that price was totally booked... The third floor hall had a strong odor, probably from the old carpeting. In the room, the kitchen faucet dripped steadily and the bathroom fan rattled. The property is kept clean, but maintenance is needed. I expected an extended stay hotel to be nicer looking and have cleaner or newer carpeting.

This hotel was just fine for a one night visit. I was a little bothered by the smell of smoke when I walked in my nonsmoking room.

It was very comfortable and quiet. I defiantly recommend this hotel to other travlers.

Things were nice and clean. Everything worked, and no one bothered me. I enjoyed my experience!

We arrived late, and to our surprise, the keys were ready and waiting for us. The room was very clean and large. Very friendly staff and great customer service. We will stay again!

Service was a little slow but people were friendly which made up for it. great location!

I stayed one night in this hotel and found it to be just fine. The lobby was nice and the front desk attendant was very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was adequate as well. The only complaint I could possibly lodge is that the under-the-kitchen-sink garbage hadn't been emptied after the last tenant and was overflowing. But that's no big […] deal. Læs mere

We found the service to be very nice and the room was clean & comfortable,an enjoyable stay.

OK place to stay for a night - room was clean with extra kitchen and fridge. We have some problem with the noise during the night but for very cheap price i expected more troubles.

Need a spot to crash. This was one i chose. The beds were hard and the tv was mad small but the front desk lady was nice and it was really convenient. 1 guard who watched the hotel so I guess i felt safe

I am one who tries her best to balance what I hear about an establishment to my actual experience. After I drove to this Clairmont area, it appeared to be a pretty good area...lots of corporate offices and a few apartment complexes. Because it was so close to other nice hotels, I thought, "how far off could this be". When I checked in, I found out that […] my King bed reservation was no longer available after paying for this reservation in full / in advance. They could only offer dbl bed rooms. With great reluctancy and no choice at this point, I took it. After a long day at work, I decided to relax and watch t.v. I couldn't find my remote control. Something told me to look under the bed. Not only did I find the remote, I found garbage! I took a grocery store bag and in it I placed a big clothes hanger from a previous resident, along with a gob of plastic wrap, and several candy wrappers. I brought it down to the front desk and asked that housekeeping clean my room. I was initially told that they were done for the day and was asked if I could wait until tomorrow. I told her that I saw housekeeping on the other end of the hallway. She stated that she will ask her to come to my room when she is done. After returning to my room, I decided to ask if I could be changed to a room that she knows is clean. I wanted to call down to the front desk but decided not to. Why? Because when I picked up the phone, the phone receiver and base was covered with lipstick! I was grossed out! I took a picture of this and showed it to the front desk staff. She apologied and assured me that housekeeping was going to clean my room. Housekeeping did come and I stayed there to watch her clean and mop and vacumn! In addition to the uncleaniness, the furniture is old and tattered; one of the electrical outlets (at the head of my bed) had no cover on it; the heat on the room system was not working therefore, I had to sleep with sweat pants and a shirt on; there was a thick stain on the bathroom floor Læs mere

reserved a non-smoking room, got a smoking room. Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. No shampoo in the room. Hotel policy not to supply shampoo..

My room was nice, and a fairly decent size. I like that a ad a fully functioning kitchen, but the refrigerator never really got too cold. my yogurt & drinks were knid of on the warm side when I got to them. I requested an early checkin, and the older lady working the front desk didn't seem too pleased that I showed up to check-in @ 9am. I was able to […] get a room but it was onthe first floor(bottom) where all the construction workers kept walking across my window. The hotel is currently remodeling, so the entire front entrance is under construction & they have me up and down the ladder all day riht outside your window. I don't know that I would return to this location but probably another Extended Stay. Læs mere

Close to fast food chains, mc donalds, then the Kruger grocery store.

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and well equiped to stay days with a little kitchen. Its cheap and it dont have extras as champoo, or toothbrush, but it has soap for a shower.

With walls as thin as paper and a toilet that just runs and runs and runs, Extended Stay on Clairmont is EXACTLY why the "extended stay" type of hotels have a bad reputation. No front desk personnel to speak of. You have to pick up a phone and wait for them to show up. When I checked out I had to slide the key under a partition at the front desk window […] because there were no front desk people. The ONLY reason that I stayed there was because I was "trapped" in the neighborhood where I work by ice and snow. And the hotel is within walking distance of my workplace. But believe me, if I had to do it again, I would pay the additional money to stay somewhere nicer. Læs mere

Great

This is a fine place to stay if you just want a simple place for not a lot of money. Its not fancy, there aren't a lot of "extras" but its clean, and its a place to sleep. The staff was very polite and accommodating when we arrive a little early. I would stay here again.
