Room was cramped and small with two beds, kitchen area small with no utensils or plates (maybe you have to request or pay extra? - Not sure), but had full-size refrigerator and stove. Shower did not have much pressure, but was clean. Carpet was old and stained. Front desk people were friendly. This hotel is mainly geared to long term guests - hence the name. I was only there for two nights. The room was comfortable enough; there were no amenities (shampoo,lotion, etc), but there was a notice that one could get them at the front desk if needed. The location was perfect for my needs. The hotel is next to the 210 freeway, so it was a bit noisy. […] However, the windows did open to get some fresh air and closed if the noise was too much. Checked in late & staff was friendly even after a long day on their part. Hotel is just off of 210 so e z to find from the Santa A. exit. Does have the 210 in its back door so suggest if a lite sleepr try t o get a room not on the back side. Othewise 100% satified with facility. Restr and shopping mall 4 minutes away via car.

Very poorly managed hotel. Front desk doesn't even pick up the call. AT&T based iphone had pathetic receiption. Warm water comes at will. Demotivated empliyee and stinking floor.

The room was dirty. Garbage in the garbage can. A cup and fork under the bed. No soap in the room. The hall way smelt like marijuana.

Room needs to properly cleaned dust is everywhere, linens were smelly and pillows are not comfortable at all. Overall stay here if you are saving buck otherwise look for something better.

The Extended Stay America was an excellent value. I've stayed at many hotels in the area and this is the one that I plan on returning to.

This was the worst time I ever had at a hotel. First the satelite went out for over 2 hours and the TV was so old it didn't have any connection to hook up a DVD player or anything.

In our the room, instead of a smoke detector, we had wires hanging out of the ceiling. There was also a low rumble that cycled every 10-15 seconds. We could not identify it and it was annoying. On a positive note, when we first checked in, a handicapped room was all that was available. They were able to move us to a regular room the next day.

If you're going to stay here, have low expectations, and you won't be disappointed. When there already isn't a complimentary breakfast, only front desk service until 11PM, you're paying for wifi, and you get to empty your trash and walk into a bathroom that hasn't been cleaned properly in weeks, there are better places to stay for the price I paid.

Badly stained carpet, poor maintenance in bathroom. Not worth the money because there were five other hotels (Marriott or Hilton) on the same block for $5 more.

This hotel is located in a nice area of L.A. (Arcadia) and conveniently located near the freeway. The manager on duty when we arrived was nice and did all he could . . . but he was no match for all of the foibles of the cleaning staff. First, our room (#104) smelled like someone had left out a damp dish rag/sponge for weeks. The smell was so powerful […] we asked for another room. All he had was a king-sized bed or a smoking room. We took the former and asked for two rollaway beds for our two kids. The second room also smelled, but this smell was not overpowering so we took that room. The manager on duty found two rollaway beds--neither of which looked very nice but one literally looked like it was from about 1970 and had threads falling off of it. (Wish I had taken a picture of it.) My boys decided to sleep on the floor instead. At the same time we were getting into our second room, another family had also arrived and they were going into their room across the hall from us. They were shocked to see that the room had not been cleaned at all, so they had to return to the front desk to see if there was another room available (it was around 9:30 p.m.). The manager said there was only a smoking room available, so they took that. Poor things . . . I can only imagine how badly that room smelled. We were on the side of the hotel next to the freeway and, despite having double windows (literally two windows, not double-paned glass), we could still hear quite a bit of freeway noise. I do a lot of traveling and am not that picky but this one took the cake. It's easily the worst experience I've had in the past five years. The only redeeming part was that the manager did his best to try to accommodate us, though there was no offer of a free stay in the future or a discount or refund on this one. There may be families that had better experiences at this hotel, but ours was the pits. My recommendation: Spend the extra money and go to any one of the other nearby hotels. Læs mere

room was very dirty had a smell in room and toliet had black mold around the ring...also sink is very old the faucets and tarnished ,looks not sanitary....carpet has a musty smell to it...one spot was even wet....sheets felt dirty and very ussed...

The hotel staff always had a smile on there face and was very helpful when we asked for help. The room was very nice and clean. It was quiet at night so that we could sleep. We really enjoyed our stay, while visiting family. Would highly recommend staying here. Will stay again myself.

Overall, I had a nice stay. The staff was friendly. It took longer than I would have liked to check in, but that was only because a new employee was being trained. The room was clean, but the furniture was a bit worn and could use replacing. The bed was a bit hard as well.

From check-in to check-out I feel as if my needs were the staff's concern. I appreciated that though I was in a smoking room, it smelled wonderful when we entered our room. We had a comfortable stay. If we are in the area again, we will very likely stay again.

After checking in. We went to our rooms to discover that it had no been cleaned. Dishes and towels all over the place. We immediately went back to the desk and they quickly gave us a new clean room. The bed was very hard, almost like sleeping on the box spring and the pillows were flat as a pancake. Nice to see a full size refrigerator in the room. […] Regular TV not flat screen, was fuzzy and hard to watch. Læs mere

Very disapointed with my stay which I found surprizing since my stays in San Antoino TX and Wakegan CH where very excellent. Listed below are just some reasons: 1. I booked a smoking and was given a non-smoking rm. 2. I was disapointed that no pool was present. 3. The room needs to get with the times and offer a better television viewing experence […] like upgrade to flat screen and offer an DVD. 4. The bed where very old and showed visible signs of wear. decent place, no major flaws. Very clean and cozy. I noticed there were a lot of dogs there a lot of guests brought their pets with them. Very quiet surrounding area with nothing around for about a mile or so..

I will only sleep in Exstened Stay

affordable. clean. nice area. There' was a lot of restaurants near by, hotel is right next to free way so there is freeway noise but it was nice experience. we would definetly stay there again.

This hotel is horrible. I only picked this hotel for the kitchen which was also not as expected. The fridge barely worked and is very loud wnen its turned on. The sheets were clearly not changed from the previous guests as I found hair and a used tissue in them!! The comforter smelled gross and had a stickey feel to it. The towels were paper thin and […] I was told that I couldn't be given any extra towels that I'd have to wait until the next morning. The toilet was backed up and when I called for maitenece the front desk told me that I had to come downstairs and get a plunger??? So not only will they not fix it, they wont even bring it up for me? The internet barely worked and cost me 6 bucks, even though even the more upscale hotels offer complimetary internet that actually works. The bed is rock hard and the pillows are thin as the pillow case. This hotel isn't even worth the cheap price I paid. Læs mere

We had never been to LA or the surrounding cities, and the hotel staff was willing to tell us the sites that were really worth seeing... and in an order that we could "save time"" and not be on the interstate all day!

A very good basic hotel, they always let me check in before noon. There are a lot of good place to eat near the hotel.

Walking to major street called "Restaurant Lane" with tons of restaurants and shopping. 5 minutes to shopping mall. Next to 210 freeway so very easy to go anywhere without passing thru downtown LA. With full kitchen we can make our breakfast and warm leftover dinner from restaurant for next day meal. Too bad they still charge for internet. If we stay […] weeks or months, it could add up. Location has easy access from/to all 4 directions and there are a wide range of restaurants close by. Room had exactly 2 of each table item and very minimum of cooking tools, pots, etc. Arrangement of room is good for working stay for 1 and eating for 2.

The hotel is filthy. I have now stayed here for 3 days and the stains on the elevator floor have not been mopped. Black stains. Footprints. Hotel carpet is dirty. Dishes in the room are all dirty. Sheets and towels and bathroom dirty. They don't vacuum and there are things in the hallway falling apart. The front desk is not helpful and made a mistake […] with our credit card which they blamed on us, and as of this morning they don't have any change for the laundry room... they "might" have some this afternoon, though. I am in the process of moving to the area and the one thing this hotel has done for me is to motivate me to get the heck out of their hotel as fast as I can. Læs mere

I needed a place just for the night so that I could spend Thanksgiving with my family - without actually spending the NIGHT with my family. Extended Stay provided the convenience I wanted and the price I was comfortable with paying. The kitchen was nice (though I didn't really need it). The bed was pretty uncomfortable, though.
