Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa - Petaling Jaya

It was uneventful and relaxing. Not crowded and the place was peaceful and relaxed despite the demonstrations that occured in KL nearby. Hotel is a little aged but I think the surrounding amenities were sufficient and satisfactory.

I am a regular guest at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa and so far I liked the service of the hotel very much. But the prices are raising continously and the services are slowly being reduced. This time, there was no access to the wireless network from the rooms available anymore, even though the network was still existing. The reason was, that they have […] LAN connections in the rooms! With more and more only wireless devices, this decision just does not make any sense to me. We wanted to go to the theme park so we stayed at this hotel. We were with our 7 years old and she was happy with both the theme park and the swimming pool there. The hotel has a good complimentary car park system. Once we validated our room key, we could it to enter and exit car park until we checked out. The service was good. Nothing to complain. […] The only 'minus' was that we stayed in a connecting room and The sound proof of the connecting door was so poor that we were awakened by the alarm clock next room at 5am! I've stayed at the Sunway Lagoon Resort several times in the past with my family, but usually we stayed in their normal Premier room. This time, we decided to pay a bit extra for the Club room. Except for the lounge with free happy hour, I honestly don't think it is worth the extra money. The Lounge is full of people and with crying kids--no really […] that special. And, the breakfast buffet is best taken down with everyone else on the first floor and not the lounge since you get better variety (the breakfast buffet is excellent). So, bottom line....just stay in the Premier room and add on the breakfast. Sunway Lagoon Resort is a good and convenient place if you are going to the water park. The only thing I would add is that they need to have Wi-Fi and more electrical outlets in the room. If you are with family and have a lot of gadgets to charge, bring a small power strip--the rooms only really have 2 outlets at the desk! Læs mere

Very comfortable hotel but water park could be a lot cleaner and does not compare with other international water parks. Park fees are not included in hotel rates unlike Atlantis for example. Charges in park for just about everything. Most of the rides were closed and inflatables were not needed. I have 3 kids and they had to take their shoes off on […] dirty ground in park. I have enjoyed my 4 days stay at Sunway Resort & Spa. The staff are friendly & serve with a warm smile. It has a relaxing atmosphere.

Good location and alot of eating shop. Big shopping centre and cinema is good. Overall, i must said is a good choice to stay at this hotel. 2 almost queen bed in a room but u have to request. But abit over price.

We loved our stay at Sunways Resort & Spa, the staff were so friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough to accomodate you. We arrived from Paris (13hr flight) around 8am in the morning with all our luggage and they were able to check us into our rooms, even though check-in is not until later in the afternoon - very much appreciated! The location […] of the hotel is awesome, has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. We were on our way back to Australia after a 2 month holiday in UK/Europe and just wanted somewhere to chill out. This place has it all - a huge shopping centre right next door (kept the girls happy), a day spa (Mandara Spa) at very reasonable prices with fantastic service, a theme park with rides, water slides etc right outside your back door! The food was fantastic, I've never seen such a massive buffet breakfast! But what we loved the most was the exceptional service! We will definitely be coming back and staying longer next time! Highly recommended !! Clean, very good service! The hotel room is very good, spacious,comfortable,clean! Location very convenient is a 1 stop family getaway for shopping , food & have fun!

While the hotel was good enough it lacked in service for a five star hotel. Bathroom was only shower/ bath and was very small, inadequate towels were supplied and room cleaning didn't take place till afternoon. Breakfast was ok only just and have had better as less rated hotels, There was far to many people for the size of the seating and food when […] we were there. We had to wait to be seated every morning. While waiting all the time for tea and coffee service. The location was close to sunway lagoon pools but we all got skin rash from swimming there as pools werent clean would definately not go there or recommend going there as some other families whom swam there had the same skin rash too. G8t hotel, friendly staff, suggest allowing 2 days for theme park, 1 day for shopping then move to a closer hotel in KL Central.

A wonderful place to stay all the nearby shopping area n lots of cafe/restaurant around. We have a lot of fun in theme park though some of the rides n wildlife attractions was under maintenance Hotel stay is fine it would be better if can offer wireless access though the hotel staff did offer broadban LAN n it would be great if they can accept debit […] card like other hotel stay Læs mere

we had great time as the hotel has a water park and attached to a shopping mall and has wide range of good restaurants. we did not need to leave the area. we will go back for sure.

Overall this is an excellent hotel. Breakfast excellent, facilities great. Water & theme park for the kids, shopping for mum. In the shopping centre there is also ten pin bowling, ice skating ring & rides for children. Good shopping for shoes, clothes at combarable Australian prices, Food options excellent. We had 2 nights at the pyramid tower & wished […] we had more. A little out of town, but taxi fare resonable ( although some drive a little scary) & train stationabout 10 mins drive & VERY cheap. Wonderful experience, there were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 chidren we had 2 excellent rooms, we were upgraded adding an extra dimension to the experience. The breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious, buffet style, eat as much as you like. We had a 2 night stopover and 3 night on return. The water park etc right next door was great fun for […] all of us, especially the kids. Alternately swimming in the Hotel pool after a long flight was bliss. The Pyramid Shopping Plaza next door has everything you might want although a little expensive compared to other shopping malls. The only downside if you can call it a downside is the distance from the airport and KL, this actually suited us as we wanted to catch our breath before continueing our journey. Absolutely brilliant hotel with everything you could wish for. We were upgraded both times we stayed. The hotel pool was fantastic for the kids. The fun park next door great for those over 115cms. This hotel is part of a very large shopping, entertainment and restaurant complex, and located approx 30 min from downtown KL. Taxi fares (public taxi) are very reasonable in KL. Excellent place to stay.

Warm, friendly and genuine. Everyone was helpful. We wanted to try the cakes at the bakery before dinner. The staff showed us to a table in the restaurant and served us without extra charge. Enjoyed the stay tremendously. PS - there are 2 entrances to the Sunway Lagoon - the one at the hotel gets very crowded quickly- about 100 people queuing! The hotel was 4 out of 5 stars. Based on the size of the room and the amenities, I would not rate this a 5-star hotel. The one issue we had was the reservation was made for two queen beds (which the front desk confirmed), when the room actually had two single beds. When I initially called the front desk to get a roll-away bed for our 5-year-old daughter, […] I was told I would be charged $30 extra per night. A stunning entrance to the hotel with welcoming staff, really felt special. Food excellent, pool service good and the cocktail lounge delightful to spend time in - very up market. The theme park was fun however it would have been very helpful to have been given more detailed information on the park and costs eg entry fees; that towels weren't supplied; […] that although lockers were available they were 'one use only' lockers which meant we had to pay each time we wanted to go to the locker for something; that we had to pay for use of tubes and cart them around with us. I guess naiively we assumed as guests some costs would have been included. Having said all that we enjoyed our stay very much. Our grandson is still talking about this 'palace' like hotel he stayed in and the fun he had at the park. We enjoyed the shoppping in the Plaza too. Læs mere

酒店鄰近有大型商場, 商場餐廳多, 商店多. 食和買都很方便. 鄰近又有sunway lagoon park, 這個park可以給你消磨一天的時間.

家族４人（子供６歳、４歳）でこのホテルに滞在しました。午後４時チェックインとなっていたんですが、午前10時半にホテルに到着しお願いすると、部屋を用意してくれました！ウォーターパーク、アミューズメントパーク、スクリームパーク、ワイルドライフパーク、エクストリームパークからなるサンウェイラグーンに隣接していて、３日間毎日通いましたが、遊びきれないくらい充実していました。ファミリープランで予約すると、このサンウェイラグーンへの入場券が１日分ついてきます。お得です。ショッピングモールもかなり大きくてまわりきれないほど。シャワーが滞在中に壊れてしまい修理をお願いしたことだけが不満といえば不満ですが、またとまりたいと子供も言っています。
