Rigtig godt og lækkert hotel. Centralt beliggende. 10 minutters gang fra Twintowers. God morgenmad med stort udvalg. Alt i alt et rigtig godt hotel. Vil klart bo her igen.

The hotels are great. But the service of the staff really disappointing Can you imagine that you are the only one checking in and you hands are full of luggage , the staff can push the trolley and simply ignore you with your hand filled with luggage . It is simply unaccectable . Than you have the securities guards acting like they are kings , tell us […] that we cannot park our cars at the lobby. But the matter of fact is I am inside the car the whole time. It did not obstruct to any traffic. That place is good to park 6 cars. The attitude for the staff sucks big time . Læs mere

Having stayed at this hotel several times over the past 18 months it's interesting to see the progress from 'Newly launched with very few guests' to 'Fully operational at full to capacity'. When arriving by car you are greeted and the luggage dispensed with before heading up to the first floor lobby for check-in. There should be more people on hand […] to do this as the arrival area can be very busy at times, this is your first impression of the hotel and so efficiency and appearance count for a lot. This is also true when heading out the hotel and requesting a taxi, there's often some discussion and a wait before one is summoned form the street. Check-in and front desk staff are polite and welcoming, the signature 'hot cookie' is a nice touch. Special requests are dealt with if possible although an early check-in charge of MYR100 seems a little avaricious! Later in the week the hotel was fully booked and at busy times there could have been more front of desk staff available to deal with the many guests. The rooms are modern, clean and very well equipped. AV connections for audio and HDMI to the television, wired and wireless internet. Glass-walled bathroom (with electric blind for privacy) makes the bathroom feel more spacious and avoids the 'small box feeling'. House Keeping keep the rooms very clean and are always on-hand to provide extra amenities and towels if requested. Makan Kitchen provides a vast breakfast choice of Chinese, Malaysian and Indian foods, friendly staff and great views of the surrounding area from the hotel's 11th floor. My only criticism is that coffee refill service could be more prompt! The hotel's bar is well stocked and smoking is allowed (a selection of cigars is available!) The lobby lounge provides drinks and entertainment with a covers band playing (a little too loudly) each evening. Overall the hotel has maintained it's high standard from it's launch to present date. great view of the Petronas Towers. nice, new hotel with excellent buffet breakfast. room was very confortable and nice bathroom. Very quiet and dark for sleeping. Room service was quick. only complaint was that I was late checking in (11:30 pm) and coming in from the taxi, it was a bit confusing with the lobby on a different floor than street level. […] i guess since i checked in so late, there was no doorman to guide my sleepy carcass to the front desk. other than that, it was a great hotel. Stayed there for a weekend trip to KL. Hotel is within walking distance to the twin towers. The rooms are really nice and spacious, the breakfast is absolutely AMAZING -- have stayed in many different hotels around the world and I have literally never har anything like that!!

Only issue is the pool area is in the shade for most of the time due to the high rise buildings around it so wouldnt be suitable for guests wishing to spend a day at the pool. Fantastic bakery - delicious food and very reasonable. Warm baked cookies on arrival lovely touch.

This hotel was brilliant! Being welcomed with a freshly baked cookie and the staff being very knowledgeable really helped after a long journey. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need. My family stayed in DoubleTree for 3 nights. The hotel is very pleasant and the staff are friendly. We love the shuttle service to nearby shopping malls and the variety of food offered by the buffet breakfast, as well as working out in the gym with a good view of the pool. The best one in KL even if it is a little far from the city center

I must say I was a very happy camper when I stayed here. The hotel is pretty new, very clean, and service staff pretty attentive (especially the concierge service). It is about a 10-minute walk from KLCC, but it wasn't an issue for my travelling party. The rooms we stayed in was very clean and large. Comfortable beds. Since it's a Doubletree hotel, […] there was a Pillow menu, which in my book is pretty awesome. :) There is also free wi-fi in the lounge area, so props. The hotel is new and it is very nice. The service is excellent and eventhough we don't have free breakfast, the room service breakfast is not so expensive and it's worth the price! The room is clean and the toilet is nice. The hotel is convenient because it is near the LRT station. Fantastic hotel and very friendly and assisting staff. Great dining options which included italian, japanese and indian. Foodcourt on very bottom level. 3 minute walk to metro and market. 10 minute walk to petronas. Definately would stay at doubletree by hilton again!

Had a great experience in the Hilton Double Tree this turn of the year. Due to construction work going on the pedestrian approach to the hotel from the station was not the best and is not recommended if you have luggage with you, but that shouldn't be the criteria for judging the hotel. The hotel was overall good but the management was over burdened […] with the holiday rush. The room of our choice was under repairs so had to accommodate with a smoking room with scented oil diffusers as courtesy. Since we were out most of the night and came back to sleep only for a few hours, we didn't mind that, especially since they gifted us a box of cookies at the end of the day! The rooms are provided with rain showers and no bath-tub, which to me is a much favourable option. Can't say much about the view outside the window but the hotel's proximity to KL city center was the key criteria for choosing it. Overall a good stay. Læs mere

it takes us more than 20 minutes to check in... which is pretty slow for a 4.5 stars hotel.. anyway, overall it's still a good hotel. It'll be better if it provides complimentary parking.. we'll have to pay RM10 bucks for parking...well, something to improve?

Hotel is good value, luxury enough (full glass walled bathroom with modesty electric blinds, reading lights, contemporary styling). Location on fringe of KL center, 4 minutes walk from metro station Ampang park (and thence to KL Sentral and Airport Express) and 10 minutes walk from Petronas Towers. Very convenient to everywhere you want to shop in KL and the customer services are awesome. Definitely a return hotel.

I WAS ON A HOLIDAY IN KUALA LUMPUR IN JULY 2011 AND AFTER MY 2 NIGHTS BOOKING AT A HOTEL HAD EXPIRED, I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO CHECK-OUT BY 2PM AS ALL ROOMS WERE FULLY BOOKED. 2 REASONS WERE THAT IT WAS ARABS HOLIDAY SEASON AND ARSENAL SOCCER GAME ON THAT WEEKEND. I THEN WALKED AND CHECKED AT ABOUT 20 HOTELS FOR A ROOM AND ALL WERE FULLY BOOKED. INCLUDING […] THE DOUBLE-TREE BY HILTON HOTEL GROUP. FINALLY TOTALLY EXHAUSTED AND WORRIED, I STOPPED BY AT A BAR FOR A BEER AND REALISED THAT IT HAD FREE WI-FI CONNECTION THERE. According to my cab driver, the hotel was only a year or two old. It was beautiful - sparkling new and the service from all the staff was excellent. I ate in two different restaurants on the property and they were both very good. The neighborhood is not particularly nice (and lots of construction going on next door), but the hotel was secure and just […] a block from the metro station. I walked around the hotel during the day and had no issues. Room was very comfortable with very high quality amenities. I was disappointed there wasn't a bathtub, only a shower. But the shower was good. I would absolutely stay here again. I'm not sure if I was the only person on the floor during my stay, but it was silent. Room is cleaner - compared to my previous stay - overall - impressive.

stayed 3 nights with my wife at the end of our 2 weeks holiday in s/e asia and this was by far the best hotel we stayed in ,check in was smooth and quick, a plus was the signature choc chip cookie,the room was ultra clean and while not overlarge it was big enough with a king size bed, plasma tv,lounge and a great view from 33rd floor, bathroom had an […] amazing rain shower which was brilliant, also crabtree & evelyn toiletries was a bonus, the hotel has a number of food and beverage outlets and breakfast is served in the makan kitchen with a comprehensive range of asian and western foods for breakfast, the best breakfast we had on our holiday, the staff are friendly,efficient and non intrusive,the location is ok with a light rail station opp and you are only 2 stops from petronis towers or $5-6aus by taxi into k/l central. i can thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again on our next trip. The Doubletree by Hilton at KL is good value for money. The hotel is contemporary in design and has all the facilities for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast is fabulous. The wide choice offered ensures that you can try a different item every morning. Tosca, the italian restaurant is excellent. Stayed for three nights in June. The Hotel is modern and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and it was close to all of the main sights (no more than $10 by taxi). My only critisism was that the bed was too hard for my taste.

The only problem that I have is the Location of hotel, you would need to take a CAB to KLCC. No way you are able to walk. the hotel is new. Prices of room is cheap... Good Steal

From the check in to the check out my experience was spectacular. This is definitely my new favorite in KL. I thoroughly enjoyed Aida the lounge singer. Her voice was quite relaxing after a long day of work. I found her to be very talented but personable with the guests listening. I could go to sleep to her singing everyday. The hotel is nice and it is a 10 minute walk from the famous towers. The pool is not heat controlled so its a bit cold. Rooms are nice but the views are not great, mainly buildings. We could not see Petronas from our building. Overall its nice and clean, good food options and nice people,

I had a wonderful stay. I had lost my ATM card, and the font desk was so helpful with me getting in contact with my bank to report it missing. I was very comfortable there and I enjoyed the food, live entertainment, and the accommodations.

I found the hotel room to be modern and clean. It looks like a new hotel. I was disappointed with the tours and restaurants. The location is just outside the CBD but I think you will find your stay here very comfortable.

Overall, I'd return to DoubleTree by Hilton KL. Reception was most helpful in getting me room with a decent view. Most rooms look into a neighbouring building, unless you're on the executive floor. My only complaint is there're too many workers standing around gossiping. The receptionists seem to be the only ones behaving professionally. I even had […] to tell the person at the Business Centre to ask her collagues (fr other depts) to keep the noise down. Housekeeping can be a little careless too - coffee sachets not replaced, etc. Overall, I'd still recommend the hotel even though the cookie gimmick's a little odd (not to mention fattening). Excellent hotel at a very good price. Much better value than high priced hotels in Singapore. My deluxe room got upgraded to executive. Modern, spacious, light, comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location, one stop on LRT from KLCC/towers (RM1 = GBP 0.20). Taxis always available outside. Good breakfast buffet, decent bar prices in happy […] hour. Only minor problem I had was with laundry service but I got a 50% discount. Some new construction nearby (noise, tower cranes etc) but did not really intrude. Will definitely stay there again. Excellent value for money with first class service and facilities. The breakfast was superb and very accommodating for all tastes- both western and local cuisine. I would have preferred a room with a better view but overall it was an excellent venue.

I ran a couple of business meetings at this hotel so worked and stayed here for a few days. The meeting facilities are top rate, as are the hotel facilities. The bedrooms are well appointed and relatively new - and for the price, good value. My biggest issue with this hotel, is the sub par cleaning. The bathrooms already have blackish mold at the […] sink and bath areas, which is quite bad for a new hotel. I cannot imagine how it will look like if I were to return a year from now. Excellent hotel and will be even better once its adjacent shopping mall is completed. This hotel was great from the staff to the buffet breakfast it was a fantastic stay for us, can't wait to return.

Staff were excellent in most areas however suggest the frontline staff were excessive in numbers and on occassions ineffective when making specific decisions to queries by those staying at the hotel. We had difficulty requesting and getting action on replacement items used each day ie. tea bags, bathroom toiletries etc. The staff at the restaurants […] (The Kitchen, Toscas) were superb and made our stay worthwhile. Most amazing hotel we've ever stayed in! We arrived at 9.30am thinking we would have to wait until 3pm but they showed us to our room straight away, warm cookie in tow! Very friendly and helpful staff and beautiful room. Great location, short walk to the train station.

Very well appointed and comfortable hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms were clean, comfotatable and spacious. Excellent choice of dining within the hotel. Only one metro stop away from the twin towers. The concierge organised city tours and taxis efficiently - even a 5am run to the airport

Excellent brand new hotel, highly recommended. Pool area and breakfast were both outstanding.

Everything was perfect...room service, breakfast and location was just right...next to station (Ampang Park) and close to KLCC. Was also close to KLCC park and as a runner that was great. Everyone was pleasant and the hotel top class. I managed to book early and got great deal for breakfast and room...highly recommended

The staff at Double Tree at KL were very polite and professional. The break-fast had a wide veriety of food, all cooked to perfection. The Doubletree by Hilton is conveniently located just outside of the main city centre, so you can avoid all the famous Kuala Lumpur traffic snarls. Rooms are spacious and well lit, and the glass wall at the bathroom makes it feel a lot bigger than it actually is. Privacy isn't compromised as there are electric blinds. The service is top-notch and […] the room service delicious and classy. They roll a table into your room, complete with table settings, a nice tablecloth, a vase of flowers and even a breadbasket. The only minus point is that the surrounding area is mostly residential/commercial with only one old-fashioned shopping centre directly across the road. I ordered a smoking room. But I was brought to a non-smoking room. I phoned the front desk more than 3 times and told me I needed to change to a smoking room. It took more than 2 hours for them to send me a bell boy with the key to the new room. That was very very frustrating. I left my finished meal outside of the room's door at about 5pm.
