Vi følte os godt tilpas på dette hotel. Der er unge engagerede medarbejdere overalt. Lidt skuffende at der ikke er fri adgang til Internettet med det prisniveau hotellet har. Endelig et hotel hvor der sker noget i lobbyen om aftenen.

I've stayed at this W a few times and find it to be comfortable, quiet and easy to access. I like the quirky amenities offered at W at this hotel is no exception. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel lobby is unique and interesting. I had several issues during my stay - the mini-bar wouldn't open (apparently they were having problems with the automatic opening of the bars) but didn't tell me when I checked in. I then tried pulling on the doors, etc. , called and they told me they were having technical difficultuies and would need to send an engineer. They didn't come so had to […] call again - finally it opened. Also, had trouble connecitng to the Internet. I always stay at the W Hotel whenever I head into the city for an evening. It's the nicest downtown hotel I've seen and while expensive, it's never outrageous. If you check in late, you usually get upgraded.

It was nice to be pampered. From the moment I got there, everything about the hotel just seems luxurious.The Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The best part is the location. I was in town for a function within one block, it was nice just to be able to walk there. I want to find anther reason to come back!

I was disappointed in the San Francisco W. Rooms were very small and although the attempt at achieving the modern style was appreciated, many of the comforts of the room were lost trying to achieve the look.

We were disappointed in our stay at the W..perhaps had higher hopes.. Still amazed that hotels can charge $15. per day for Wi Fi. We were able to negotiate a better rate; in that way the manager was helpful. Hotel is hard to find. One black "W" sticking out of the corner of the building might be chic but not practical. Entrance to parking is even worse and the cost per day is $50 plus tax. Got one bar of soap over 3 night stay. Elevator requires door card/key which may be for security but is a pain when you are holding anything. Room is certainly tastefully […] decorated if somewhat smaller than the suburban place we stayed previously. Glass bathroom door offers little privacy. The fact that it slides means that using the toilet during the night wakes up everyone in the room - again chic but not practical. Water gets good and hot but shower flow is really slow. Bed was very comfortable. Television offered lots of choices. Room service was good. Food was hot and delivery prompt and friendly. Bellhop was also helpful. Firehouse next door can disturb sleep, but being across from Moscone Center is convenient. In house restaurant was very good. Concierge's recommendation for Tadich Grill was a good one. Læs mere

Overall we had a fabulous time at the W. Everyone was overly helpful, the service level was wonderful! The only issue we had was there was mold in grout surrounding the shower tiles. That was a bit off-putting. If not for that one minor detail, this would be a 5+ rating!

In room food service is pricey. Take advantage on hotel complimentary car shuttle service, we reserved the car 3 times and that probably saved us at least $100 in cab fare!

I have stayed at many W hotels, but the service at the W San Francisco is some of the best that I have ever received. From when I checked in and was helped by Cora who was fantastic, to the Director of Style Nicole, who was very helpful in making recommendations of places to go and provided the highest level of customer service one could ask for.

I was so excited to stay at the W Hotel in SF. I had an event at the MoMa, which was next door - so the location was perfect. I have been to SF a few times, and once I got to the W SF I was immediately thrown off. The entrance is tiny, and it's off of a very busy street (not with shops or anything.. like a really busy driving street). The surroundings […] were not quaint and cozy, which is what I thought I was getting myself into. The shopping was still a few blocks away (on the map it looked closer). The front staff is nice, the elevators smell awful, strong and stipper-esque. My room was cooly decorated and had a great "city" view. The amenities were nice (Bliss). The pool is rather tiny and just so-so. The Bliss spa is way over-priced. The atmosphere at night was extremely disappointing. Lots of young, tourists, loud house-music, overrated bar and the prices were laughable. The brunch the next morning at TRACE was so bad. The service was good, but the food was so lackluster and disappointing. I will never stay at the W SF again. I had such high hopes. It was trendy and borderline trashy (best way to describe it). The hotel was nice and in a good location however i was a little disappointed with the set up of the bar and the restaurant as i thought from the pictures these were in seperate locations but instead they were all on one floor that appeared too squashed. I wasnt too happy with our view which was of a building site and also they dont offer free internet […] to hotel guests which i think is rediculous. There were also a lot of famalies staying which i though was a little odd as it doesnt give the impression of a family hotel (perhaps it is). having stayed at the W three times in the last month AND as a Starwood Preferred Guest member it seems odd that the check in process is still so onerous. coming off a 11 hour flight the last thing you want is to be kept waiting at reception. the hotel staff was super friendly. we arrived around noon and check in wasn't until 3pm. instead of just holding our luggage for us until check in time like most hotels, the staff member upgraded our room and gave us a room that was available immediately!
