Smukt gammelt hotel med høj komfort. En fornøjelse at bo der.

Manglende rengøring af vand- og vinglas, hver dag. Personale iøvrigt, særdelses serviceminded. Morgenbuffet helt i top.

Hotellet er placeret i en ældre bygning bygning lige overfor hovedbanegården hvor lufthavnsbussen også stopper super god placering... indretningen er smagfuld holdt i den gamle stil. Vi boede på et standard dobbelt værelse. Faciliteter på værelset: - TV med mange kanaler (også købekanaler) - Elkedel - Internet (gratis) Eneste ulempe ved værelser var […] at vinduerne ikke kunne åbnes særligt meget så der blev meget varmt på værelset.h Morgenmaden var ok, men der var plads til forbedringer. Charmerende gammel bygning i Jugendstil med højt til loftet og atmosfære. Perfekt beliggenhed lige over for hovedbanegården og busholdepladsen (hvor også bussen fra lufthavnen ankommer). Venlig og hjælpsom betjening. Selv om der er en del trafikstøj, blandt andet fra sporvogne, som hviner i skinnerne rundt om hjørnet, oplevede vi ikke støjen som noget […] væsentligt problem - måske fordi vi var heldige at have værelse på 4. etage. Vi kunne godt sove med vinduet åbent, hvilket absolut er en nødvendighed på varme sommerdage som dem, hvor vi besøgte Helsinki. Pænt og velindrettet badeværelse - med dagslys! Udluftningen var ikke optimal, men det er et gennemgående problem på de fleste hoteller. Kan anbefales. Læs mere

The hotel was choosen to be close to the central station, which it was! I also prioritized price and services like breakfast and internet, which also was very nice. But the general maintanace of the hotel was very poor! Ie, my heater was stuck on max heat, so the temperature in the room was over 30 degrees, but that was solved with opening one windows […] all the time. Traffic noise wasn't a problem with the outside windows closed. Læs mere

Centrally located, just opposite the railway station, this is a fine building but it needs a refurbishment. There are rather seedy nightclubs either side of the hotel and I could hear the music from one of them until the early hours of the morning.

beautiful hotel, very helpful staff. they had gluten free bread and muffin for breakfast. we couldnt be more satisfied with our stay.

Visible from the Finnair bus stop at the main train station, so no cab needed. An old-time, old world hotel, with lots of stone, velvet, and dark wood. Our room was comfortable and had real personality and charm. Bed was super cozy and comfy. Great breakfast buffet.

-Nice hotel in the center of Helsinki. Old School Lobby, Restaurant and Rooms. They could do some shape up regarding the cleaning. Very pleasent staff that speaks English very well.

One of the nicest hotels in Helsinki

Our first time in Helsinki and this was a great hotel. Right downtown by the train station, served a wonderful breakfast each day, and very comfortable rooms. Will stay there again in the future.

The hotel is excellently located just opposite the main train station and around the corner from the 615 bus to the airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful, both at the reception and at the breakfast room. We stayed in one of the standard rooms, which was very clean and nicely appointed. Only the lobby shows signs of some wear and tear, but […] nothing major. The internet is fast and always on, and the shower has sufficient water pressure and enough hot water for a refreshing shower. Would highly recommend the hotel for a few days' stay, although for a longer stay, you should probably upgrade to a larger room. Læs mere

Internet connection was not working, had to consult the staff many times regarding it. Breakfast could have had a wider selection (I read other reviews before and had higher expectations). Excellent location, you couldn't find a more central location if you tried.

Excellent location right in the center of Helsinki, across the street from the main train station. Great breakfast in the morning. Super friendly staff. The single room (and bathroom especially) is small but that's to be expected in most of Europe. The walls are thin and it's somewhat noisy but it didn't bother me. Located directly across from the train station, this hotel is in a fantastic location. Most of the things one wants to see or visit in Helsinki are no more than a 20-minute walk away. The windows were great buffers that allowed us a restful night amid the bustle below our window. There was no air conditioning, but the fan was perfectly adequate in the […] mild Helsinki summer. Great shopping and restaurants are less than two blocks away. Market Square is very close. Breakfast was incredible. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Læs mere

right in front of the central train station and 5 min from Kampi bus station, nice rooms, charming old hotel, good breakfast buffet, good restaurant, a but noisy with the street in front but nothing to complain

Perfect Location for Helsinki and for the trains. Plenty bars and restaurants nearby. Only downside is lack of air-con which is not normally a problem but in high summer the rooms do get rather hot.

Excellent location just opposite the railway station, supermarket nearby. Single room very small, but well equipped – free cable internet, mini-bar, tea-coffee facility. All hotel equipment old and under-maintained. Hot buffet breakfast, but pure quality..

Beautiful old building, nice hotel, clean and comfy rooms, great breakfast, very convenient location. Stayed here for 4 nights, and will definitely stay here again if I return to Helsinki.

This is the best location for the hotel in Helsinki. I truly enjoyed my stay there.

What a delightful "old world" character hotel. One expects to see Hercule Poirot emerging from one of the rooms. Our room was very nicely appointed. The breakfast was superb with a buffet of hot and cold items, juices, various coffees and tea. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This was our second time to stay there. We chose it because we enjoyed it the first time we stayed there in January 2010. It had been recommended by friends. The breakfdast bar is Excellent, my husband especially enjoyed it. The location is central to downtown and to transportation. The bus to and from the airport stops across the street from the hotel […] - very convenient. Our only complaint is that the hotel has no air-conditioning (small fans in the rooms) and it was in the 80's with high humidity during our stay this time (July 2010). If we have the opportunity to return to Helsinki we would stay there again except in July or August. Læs mere

The Seurahuone Hotel location was great- at central rail and transport center and within walking distance of historical areas. Nice room, very good buffet breakfast, helpful Engish speaking staff. Since we arrived during an unusual heat wave, the lack of air conditioning was a minus. We could keep the windows open and were provided with a fan.

Directly across from the train station and the major tram stop in town, the hotel is superbly situated for exploring Helsinki. The quality of the rooms is excellent as is the service -- and the breakfast is incredible.

Had a very nice stay at the Seurahuone Hotel in Helsinki. Extremely centrally located, very nice staff, beautiful old building. Minor inconveniences are: the rooms get quite hot in the summer although there is a fan in the room (quite noisy), the breakfast leaves a bit to be desired in terms of choice.

A grand old building kept very nicely; our room was clean with art nouveau hangings. Quiet halls. An ample breakfast offered in a lovely dining room. Very conveniently located across the street from the Central Rail Station. The hot summer days made us wistful for air conditioning. And a nearby night club provided us with unwanted pulsating bass too […] late at night. Nevertheless, we rebooked for another stay and would recommend Hotelli Seurahuone Helsinki. Læs mere

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location was fantastic, near the railway station so very accessible from the airport and walking distance to the sights and lots of nice restaurants and bars. Breakfast was very good and the hotel decor is beautiful.

Great location, good breakfast, tea-maker in the room, free Internet.

We couldn't quite understand how the hotel worked with so few staff. During six days very busy days there was only one person (Manager?) manning the Reception Desk and apart from two mornings one very helpful young man seemed to be trying to run the dining room single handedly. It which would have benefitted from cloths for the tables. The choice […] and quality of food offered for breakfast by the invisible kitchen staff was excellent. However the refreshment tray in the room was not kept stocked, we were constantly running out of tea bags, sugar and powdered milk, and my wife had to request a shower cap. Our stay began with the "red carpet" entrance leading into a lovely lobby with a very helpful desk clerk. Old world charm exuded from the rich, dark wood, to the beautiful crystal chandeliers in the restaurant off the lobby. Our room was large, comfortable, with European bedding, and a modern bathroom. The only "confusing" thing was the shower without […] a curtain, but with a small clear shield that, no matter how hard we tried not to, we got water on the floor!! But, the overall experience out weighed the shower. The breakfast offered a good variety of American and Finnish foods to choose from, all delicious. The location across the street from the train station, and a short walk to the bus station was perfect. And, we were in walking distance to the harbor where there is a large market place, the downtown area with major stores, lovely boutiques, Tax Free Finnish goods, restaurants of all cultures, museums and other national sites. We have been to Helsinki several times, and wish we had found this hotel sooner. We definitely will be back. Læs mere

tosi onnistunut valinta, huone vertaansa vailla, siisti ja hyvä palvelu

Hotellin paras anti on sen sijainti. Palvelu pelaa, meillä esimerkiksi hiustenkuivaaja oli rikki, onneksi saimme käyttää toisen vapaana olleen huoneen kuivaavaa ja päivällä oman huoneen kuivaaja korjattiin. Aamupala on kovin tyypillinen, ei yllätyksiä. Huoneessa ei ole tilaa esimerkiksi keittää kahvia, vaikka välineet ovatkin kaapissa. Kaipasin myös […] hotellikansiota pöydälle, mieluummin luen sieltä palveluista kuin tv-ruudulta. Kylpyhuoneen pöytätasojen kuluneisuus ja huoneen ahtaus, kuivaajan toimimattomuus alussa verottivat pisteitä, palvelu ja sijainti tasapainottivat, joten lopulta jäätiin plussan puolelle. Harmitti se, että varasin ja maksoin netin kautta hotellin, joten bonukset jäivät saamatta, siitä ei kerrottu missään!!! Læs mere

Erittäin siisti ja kiva, persoonallinen hotelli. Hyvä aamupala, tosin niinkin pieni juttu kuin tanskalainen voi pisti silmään. Kotimaista voisi suosia ja isommissa pakkauksissa. Huoneemme oli viidennessä kerroksessa eli oikeastaan kuudennessa koska toinen kerros oli ensimmäinen kerros ja hissi oli suuren osan ajasta rikki, aika monta porrasta. Kaikki sujui hyvin, paitsi että hissi reistasi. Piti kävellä viidenteen kerrokseen; ei hyvä. Aamiaisen laatu lienee mennyt hiukan alaspäin. Ennen aikaan valikoima oli suurempi. Ravintolan ruokalista oli oudon lyhyt. Muuten kaikesta kymmenen pinnaa!
