Marlin Hotel - Miami Beach

Very unique hotel, but the technology in the room wasn't working.motnthat had been fixed they would have gotten more 5s in my review. Staff was extremely helpful and made great restaurant recommendations.

Clean rooms with lots of cool features such as iPad controlled lights, TV, curtains. Has a recording studio on the ground floor so were woken up on the first night by noise and had to move rooms. Other than that enjoyed the stay and staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent location on collins avenue, just 1 block from the beach front

A wonderful hotel with amazing service! We felt as though we have found a "home away from home". A heartfelt thank you to Alex who went out of his way to make everything perfect for our 2 day stay. We hope to be back to visit soon.

Awesome hotel! The staff is very accommodating and will help you to find the hot spots area south beach! Very clean, tech savvy rooms. The whole room is operated by iPads which they give you ate check-in. Seriously one of the most different, cool boutique hotels I've ever stayed in! Will be back!!

When booking my trip I was debating between one of the larger hotels and a smaller boutique style hotel. I decided on the smaller quaint Marlin. Just steps from the beach and close to great shopping and restaurants. The staff was amazing...very friendly and were always available to offer suggestions of places to check out in the city. In the rooms..everything […] is controlled by an ipad. Drapes, TV, lights etc. The Marlin also has a state of the art recording studio which has been frequented by some of the largest names in music. The rooms at The Marlin Hotel are very unique and trendy. The location is great if you are looking to party. I was very impressed with the use of technology in the room and the bed was heavenly. There is definitely a rock and roll vibe about the place.

From the moment my husband and I arrived at the Marlin hotel, it felt like a home away from home. The lobby decor is contemporary, warm, and inviting. We were immediately greeted and welcomed. The staff even took the time to sit down with us and help plan our stay in Miami. Our room was perfect! The size of the room (Studio D) was very comfortable for […] the two of us and immaculate. It was maintained throughout our entire stay. The iPad control system was efficient and pretty cool! The hotel is also secure. Visitors must have a code to enter. I recommend this hotel mainly for couples since there is a recording studio downstairs and the occasional loud music at night could wake little ones. It didn't, however, bother us. I would definitely recommend staying at The Marlin! My sister and I stayed there for the weekend and were blown away. The location was perfect, the service was great and the room was amazing. The only thing you need to know if you are driving is that the valet parking isn't available yet so you have to park across the street. Very clean hotel, they made sure to go the extra mile in maintaining the rooms. And the rooms are very comfortable, the bed is great, and the setup is very chique. The staff was extremely helpful staff, they honored all of my requests, including letting me check out much later in the day. A few criticisms: no irons in the room, that was difficult. […] Also, it is definitely not a party hotel. need to punch a code to get inside the lobby. And I was hoping for a lounge of some sort in the lobby to grab a drink at night, but no-one inhabited the lobby the entire weekend. modern, high-class lookin hotel inside. everything can be controlled from the use of an ipad which is pretty cool. the staff was awesome and helpful. they were able to help me make use of my stay in miami beach & gave advice as to which spots were the best to go to. the only negative i have to stay (which is not really a big deal) was that some features […] of the ipad did not work such as changing the TV channels and opening/closing the drapes. this didn't really bother me as much since i was still able to change channels & open/close the drapes with their original controls. despite this, i will definately stay here again whenever i come back to miami beach :) Læs mere

This is a hip, contemporary Euro style hotel in an art deco building. The hotel is small (3 floors) and owned by a record impresario, and the hotel reflects this fact. One enters into a public area decorated with music-related books and art that opens onto a dining room and bar. Behind this is the South Beach Recording Studio. The hotel reception office […] is on the 2nd floor and is lined with the CD covers of the music that has been recorded or mixed. My guest room had a enormous bed and large sectional sofa from which one could watch the super large, wall-mounted TV screen. I was given an I-Pad on arrival which controlled the lighting, A/C, TV, curtains etc. Toilet and shower were modern, exceptional and clean as a whistle. Neighborhood is alive at night with lots of restaurants & clubs. Hotel is 2 blocks from the beach. Very South Beach. Læs mere

Hotellrommet var helt fantastisk. Den beste hotellsenga jeg noengang har sovet i. Det er ikke utsikt fra rommet, men det savnet vi ikke et sekund. Her er det nok å nyte den rolige atmosfæren. Rommets fasiliteter styres av iPad, og man satte stemning på lys og lyd etter eget ønske. De ansatte levert et meget høyt servicenivå, og fikk oss til å føle oss […] som spesielle gjester. Det var ikke åpen restaurant på hotellet, men det fikk vi vite var underveis. Det var imidlertid mer enn nok av restauranter å velge iblant i nærområdet. Nærme det meste, uten bråk og feststøy. Mi esposa y Yo difrutamos unos agradables dias en el marlin, un Hotel muy nuevo, con unos cuartos formidables muy tecnologicos y modernos, muy buena atencion , sobre todo de Alex! ( lo cual agradecemos) a diferencia de otros hoteles no tiene servicios adicionales esto es picina, servicio de playa o un gran lobby para desayunar etc etc pero tiene unos […] cuartos muy muiy buenos una ubicacion formidable, la zona muy buena un parqueo publico cruzando la calle la playa a un bloke, la cafeteria en la esquina para desayunar etc todo esta a mano, Recomiendo este Hotel lo mejor que me toco visitar en hoteles boutique Læs mere
