"Attractively comfortable and friendly"
We will definitely stay there again when we're in the area; we were very happy with our room and the breakfast was satisfying.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was great for the price. The shower needed a little attention, but overall a good experience.

Found hotel easy enough with GPS. Hotel was clean room was enough for what I needed for the night, Some satins on carpet but overall I enjoyed the hotel and the breakfast was good too

"Perfect for a Quick Stop"
We were driving on I77 from Tampa to Pittsburgh and needed a good stopping place for the night. This hotel was perfect being close to the highway and surrounded by tons of eating places. Breakfast opened at 6 am, which was perfect for getting an early start, and they even had make-your-own waffles. I would definitely stay their again!

The Sleep Inn Statesville is a very good place to stay if you are traveling on I-40 or I-77 and need to get off the road for awhile. It is easy to get to with plenty of facilities in the area. I usually avoid 2 star hotels, but, based on the other revies, I booked it. I was totally satisfied. There was a Chili's next door and a Walmart only 1/2 mile away. The only problem was finding the turn into the hotel.

"Enjoyed stay!"
Did not get a chance to check the pool, but everything else was really nice. Our room and housekeeping was great. The dip at the beginning of the driveway was a learn on the first try experience. Lots of variety for the free continental breakfast. Hotel was clean. Had a really good deal with no hassle.

I was surprised at how clean and nice this hotel was. It has a small indoor pool which my kids used twice, and a nice breakfast in the morning. We would definately recommend this hotel and will stay again.

There was confusion at the front desk. I showed her my charge card and she said it did not match (charge shown). I gave her my visa, she said it showed the charge on a Mastercard with a different number. She charged my Visa. She misunderstood that the MC was from you. This was later corrected in a speedy fashion.

Enjoyed an excellent stay at the Sleep Inn. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Very reasonably priced and convienently located. Anyone wanting a higher quality place to stay should plan on paying double the price. Highly recommend.

"a fine hotel with great location and staff"
The hotel is located in a good area surrounded by restaurants and stores. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean but could use some updating. Our air conditioner didn't work, but everything else was fine. Free breakfast in the morning.

Over all fine for the price but the hotel is showing signs of age and wear. Does come with continental breakfast, a great plus for a quick start in the morning. We stayed one night while driving from Ontario to Florida.

Ask me about the next place we staed. (North Charleston Inn). Was dirty, didn't get room we reserved, not recommended in any respect. Stay away.!!!
"Odors"
If at all possible, stay off the fourth floor, the smoking rooms, and go outside to smoke. The odor that hits you when the elevator door opens is unbelievable!

When we got in our room the toilet was clogged. I called and told the clerk at the desk. She said come get a plunger. I don think so.

The Motel is located in an area accessible to the mall and other points of interest. Have stayed in this motel before...

Location right off the Highway is convenient. Also walking distance to Restaurants and Shopping too. We have stayed here several times the past two yrs, but the musty orders and smell of Cigarette Smoke in "NON SMOKING" rooms is just too much to tolerate anymore. Price right, but Musty Smell and Cigarettes need to be addressed.

We were very pleased with the location and accessibility of the Sleep Inn. Easy to reach from the interstate and many services in the surrounding area. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

i was traveling from atlanta,Ga morgantown,Wv and i had to take a break in the middle and i was only gonna stay foe 8 hours but really it was worth every dollar i spent,clean quiet rooms,nice breakfast,free parking,friendly staff,great location near resturants and finally an incredible price.

Hotel was convenient off the highway. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was decent and even had waffle makers. Everyone was able to fill up before heading on the road again. Staff was friendly.

For the price and based on some of these reviews we were hesitant but desperate for convience and budget friendly last minute beds. The entrance is a little rough on the car but the hotel itself made up for it. Breakfast is great, they let us stay in the pool until 11 since we got there so late, and the room and showed was clean. "Good hotel but with noisy air conditioner"
Reasonably priced, nice room, but conditioner is quite noisy. Also condencate from upper level conditioners falls on windowsill creating perminent noise

The location of the hotel makes getting into the main highway difficult, especially if trying to turn left. However, you can take a detour to another road that ends at a stoplight. Otherwise, this is a fine hotel.

Your first impression anywhere is the staff at the front desk. When we arrived on late Monday afternoon the young woman behind the desk was surly at best. Very spacious room, very quiet. Very, very quiet. Convenient, and nice. For the price, I highly recommend. Well worth it.
"Convenient to I-40 and I-77"
I am familiar with the Statesville area, so knew right where this hotel was. It is convenient to both I-40 and I-77. Getting in and out of the hotel may be a little difficult depending on the time of day. I don't recommend trying to turn left leaving the hotel. Shopping (WalMart, Cato, Burkes, similar) and dining from fast food to casual sit-down […] restaurants are all convenient. Room was comfortable and clean. From other reviews I knew that the hotel had been renovated within the last few years. This was mostly seamless, however, there were certain aspects, such as room layout (no closet, pocket door to bathroom, shower only) that showed the hotel was probably built more than a few years ago. Hotel is on a hill away from the main flow of traffic, so there was not much road noise. I was there through the week, so there were not many travelers, but overall the hotel was quiet. The breakfast area looked very nice, however, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to sample the breakfast selections. "Nice and clean"
For a short, one-night stay, the hotel was very suitable. The room was clean and the property was well-maintained. I was allowed an early check-in and late check-out. All-in-all, a great experience.
