Everything was good for the money. The indoor pool is on the small side and the water was cloudy but otherwise nice stay.

I booked Sleep Inn for a Valentines Day getaway and and we stayed for two days and it was great! When we arrived they staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and well designed... The only thing I would have changed was the fact that the view from my window was someone's backyard. Overall if I needed another getaway I would stay here... It […] was exactly what I needed. room was clean upon checking in the evening Receptionist was friendly, However by morning the receptionist for that shift was very unprofessional she came banging on the door demanding that we leave because she said we only was to stay one night, I tried to show her my reciept from hotel .com saying that we paid in advanced for two nights and our check […] out time was the following day, I had to called hotel.com to have a them called her to get matter straight. when I went to use the phone in the hotel room to make sure she spoke to some one, the phone was broken, so I had to go down stairs, upon getting down stair she was on her cell phone I had to wait until she finish her personal call, she then told me it was an error that the maid made (passing the buck), I asked her to have the manger called me please it been three days still havn't heard from a manger. :-( Læs mere

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel... it was clean & comfortable & the staff was extremely pleasant.

I was looking for a simple, non-seedy place to stay on my way to Charlotte. This fit the bill, but my main complaint with this place was that there was only luke-warm water (at best!) in the shower. There were other maintenance issues like the bathroom door having a big empty hole where there used to be a handle, and a small hole where there used to […] be a peephole in the main door. Needed a place to crash after a day of driving North from Florida. As an overnight stop it was acceptable, but don't count on too many amenities. Basic accommodations, conveniently located off the highway, with very basic continental breakfast available in the morning.

Where do I even start to tell how awful this place was! There was a quarter and hair in the bed, obviously because they didn't change the sheets. The towels had hair on them. When asking for room service to bring new bed linens, the receptionist failed and upon going downstairs to get them ourselves, she was like "oh yeah, sheets".....yeah! The manager […] seemed nice and said she'd send us a gift cert for compensation but haven't seen that yet either...big surprise! There was a coffee maker but no coffee pot. Neighborhood is extremely scary and rough. The entire Hotel reeked of smoke. Costumer service was the WORST!!! Trust me....You'd get a better night sleep locked in your car! Læs mere

I was especially pleased with the room size, facilities and upgraded condition of the hotel. Bathroom even had granite tops! Breakfast was adequate though not expansive. WOuld recommend this place unconditionally.

The front desk staff was simply wonderful; quite attentive. The maid staff, as well, was quick to help us within thier means. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in..bravo. The pool on the other hand, really should have been cleaned. Breakfast was no more and no less than a basic hotel continental. Internet connection was slow […] but it was there. My husband and I stayed one night at Sleep Inn North Lake in Charlotte, NC and it was not pleasant at all. Upon arrival at check-in we were told that the room we booked online at hotels.com was not available and that all rooms were booked. However, the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful with the entire situation. We ended having to stay […] in a handicap room was told that was the last room available. The room smell of mildew and the bathroom was not clean at all. My husband actually find a piece of crumb that was soo old it was stuck to the certain. They had an in door pool that I would not let my dog get in if I had one. The housekeeping crew seem very loud and ghetto yelling out profanity as she was leaving at the end of her shift. I suggest to spend the extra money to stay at much nicer hotel if you are planning to stay more than one night Læs mere

Only complaint was the pool area could have been nicer. Front desk girls were very nice. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

Not too bad of a neighborhood, decent amenities, continental breakfast was a joke, though. Hotel staff was decent and helpful and the room was clean. For how cheap it was, I would definitely stay here again.

The room was nice but we were looking forward to swimming at the hotel. We chose not to because the pool looked very nasty. We could have went swimming but were afraid of why it was so dirty. I feel like we didn't get our moneys worth because we were not able to swim. Also, when we were leaving the hotel our first night to go get dinner, the desk attendant […] was outside at someone's car looking at shoes. We stayed for a weekend after staying there one night a few weeks ago since we had a good experience the first time. The young lady who did the check in was on the phone the ENTIRE time during the check in and EVERY time (Thursday night and Friday) we stopped down there to speak to her! We even pointed out that the state flag was hanging upside (and […] was in VERY poor condition) and when we left Sunday morning it was still upside down! Our room was comfortable but smelled odd - nothing to make us leave the room, but every time we entered the room the smell was there, we just got used to it, because we figured any other room they put us in would be the same. The hotel is right off a major highway so it's really convenient for those staying the night on their way to somewhere else. We stayed here on the way to and the way from our final destination. Clean, safe, convenient to food and the highway.

Clean hotel with excellent service at the front desk. There was nothing negative that really caught my eye. It is a little difficult to exit onto the main roadway from the hotel because it's a very busy street and very close to a traffic light. I can't really say that's a reason not to stay here though. The price is very reasonable for the quality.

I first resevred a room here for myself and my daighter for her soccer tournament, then wound up booking rooms for the team. The manager was wonderful in assisting me, and the entire process was made extremely easy. I was very happy with my room. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, and I loved the shower!! Yes, sock. While arriving into our hotel room I found a pair of worn black socks on the corner wedged between the TV stand and air conditioner. Need I say more?

Good hotel for the price.

The staff all were very nice,polite and courteous. The bathroom was very small. No bathtub just a shower. The bathroom fan did not work at all. The room was not as big as I thought it would be but, it was nice enough. The pool is very small and does look dirty on the bottom. That being said, I can't say that our stay was unpleasant, and we would stay […] again. We didn't pay an outrageous fee for all the pretty pretties. Let me start on a positive note. The staff was very nice and helpful. GREAT customer service! They greeted me as I entered and left each day. I was expecting to stay within walking distance to the mall, NOT! This hotel is 3.5 miles away from the mall. The only issue I had during our stay (which we ended up extending) is that every morning at breakfast they were out of something (waffle batter, syrup, salt, and so on) The staff seemed to only be allowed a certain amount per day because with out fail they had more by morning. The last day of our stay the employee at the front desk went above and beyond […] by going to the Waffle House to get syrup for the waffles cause that is the what they ran out of that day. Nice hotel from outside, but not as nice inside. Nice people though. The toenails in the floor from a previous guest kind of turned me off.

Took a chance on this Sleep Inn because the other customer reviews were fine. DON'T believe them!!! Here's a list of what was wrong: 1.) Our air conditioner didn't work. Whenever the compressor tried to come on it sounded like a jet engine trying to start...every 4 minutes!!!!!! NO COLD AIR AT ALL!!! 2.) The fan in the bathroom was so loud you couldn't […] hear yourself think. 3.) The bedside lamps were super hard to turn on, and then you couldn't get them to turn off. 4.) The $3 alarm clock didn't work. 5.) The breakfast. What breakfast? Three day old mini-muffins, toast, a couple of apples, and watery juice. They do have a waffle maker, but don't expect it to actually make you a waffle. Just a bunched up mess of dough that isn't edible. 6.) The mattress felt like sleeping on plywood. I was in Charlotte on business. The rate was affordable and the staff was very courteous and helpful. I changed rooms once because my initial room was not as clean. I would not stay here again. It was in a scary location, the bathroom was miniature and the bottom of the shower was peeling off. We actually bought a bath mat just so we could shower. The front desk people were nice and it was convenient to the highway but those are the only positives I could find.

The hotel was a little less clean than expected. Surrounding neighborhood was questionable at best. Very conveinient location right off of 77 and about 10 min from downtown Charlotte. I would only stay at this hotel again if i did not need to go to the stores nearby.

Since I knew nothing about Charlotte, I decided to find a hotel that was midway between Lake Norman and downtown. This hotel is right between the two locations so it worked out well. However, there are truckers who park their semis behind the Waffle House and in front of the hotel in a dirt lot. Very comfortable beds, very small pool which is great for little kids but older kids would be disappointed. Waffle House and Jack in the Box are steps from the front door. Gas station very close too. Our bathroom door was broken, but the shower was hot. Overall a good stay.

I chose this as the worst reviews were of small bathrooms. The bathrooms are small. The room was clean and the personnel were friendly. I felt comfortable and secure.

Great staff, easy-to-get-to location right off the interstate, large room with comfortable bed. Also had a large fridge/freezer and microwave. Breakfast was decent, though not exceptional. The only slight complaint was noise. Interstate traffic could be heard outside, and our fridge/microwave combo vibrated loudly when the fridge kicked on - had to […] stuff a washcloth between the two to dampen the noise. All in all though, the stay was much better than what I was expecting from a lower-cost hotel like a Sleep Inn. Læs mere

Very good for the price. CLEAN and COMFORTABLE!! Breakfast was the usual complimentary breakfast but again,clean. I booked this hotel based on other reviews. We are always skepticle of lower prices but this one is a winner.The two men working at the front desk were very polite and helpful.

Upon arrival, I was automatically offered an upgrade to king. The room was fabulous. I only wish I were staying longer, as there were so many amenities included (and still it was the best "bargain" price in my search).

It wa sall good... from the speedy checking process, corteous and professional staff, nice clean room with everything new in it... the nice large indoor swimming pool... the large and very complete continental breakfast.... My primary focus was to get a decent hotel near my son's place in Charlotte. The price was very nice and all the accommodations were as expected or better (with the mild exception of the water pressure--it was like being in a moderate rain). The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, I stayed alone. The continental breakfast was good for me, fresh […] fruit, cereal, pastry, acceptable coffee, etc. Although I did buy a cup at the waffle house right next door.
