"Very nice for the price!"
Excellent stay. Only problem was with the air conditioning not working. I called the front desk and the mat. man was at the door, fixed the a/c and was out of the room in 5 minutes.

A WONDERFUL stay, the room was modern and comfortable. I wasn't thrilled about the curtains not closing but it wasn't too big a deal. The O'Reilly Taproom is AWESOME!! The daytime bartender was able to go in to great depth and have a lot of knowledge about the beers they served. The breakfast was also great. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. "Impressive Remodel"
I stayed at the Best Western Premier in Harrisburg last week. I knew the hotel as a Sheraton in its day. After a $4.2 million remodel, I have to say it was a great value for what I paid. Rooms are well appointed with new a new lg flats screen, nice king bed, microwave and fridge. Towels were nice and soft. Everything I need when away on business. There […] is a restaurant on site, but was never very busy as the hotel is somewhat off the main road. A nice complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning. Staff was very nice. I did struggle with adjusting the hot water in both tub and sink and the sliding closet doors came off their track which was handled by maintenance as soon as I reported it.. The clock is funky to operate and I needed help in setting the time. All in all, I would recommend this hotel so much that I am staying there again this week. Læs mere
when i booked this hotel i asked for a hot tub but none was available at the time. when i arrived at the hotel two rooms with hot tubs came available. i ask to upgrade to one of those rooms but i had to do it with hotels.com; i called but in order to do so it would have cost me the full amount again plus the cost of the upgrade. also the swimming pool […] was freezing. "Nice pool and very simple and easy in and out"
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. The pool was very nice, and I liked the access to the exercise room as well. The only possible complaint was the noise from the highway right next to the hotel. Thanks for a great night away from home.
"Second Time Around"
I have to admit that I have to commend the hotel for providing a comfortable experience. The rooms was quaint and cozy, neat and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. My first experience was not a pleasant stay, but I have to admit that the hotel did meet my expectations this time.

"BW Premier at Harrisburg - Love paper thin walls?"
The hotel itself was neat, affordable, and the staff were very helpful. upon arriving at our room, we noticed we were practically poolside! This would have been great except for the fact we were on a 20 hour drive and sleep was on our minds. The pool patrons all yelled at the top of their lungs, despite being asked to keep it down. The hotel manager […] apparently went to check things out but in the end failed to get us the silence we desperately needed. The restaurant was OK. Food was priced well but quality left something to be desired. The beds were SO uncomfortable, I woke up feeling worse than when I slept. The pillows were both too stiff and too soft (I had four in my bed and had to pick the two least offending ones). The fan running in the room as well was so loud it made it hard to sleep. I woke up 4 times in the middle of the night. I would hesitate going back there again. The checkout process was awkward as well, indicating that we were all set and were not even given a receipt. "Good hotel for price, great location"
We selected this hotel for our trip to Hershey because it was reasonably close and offered a great rate. The facility was nice and the free breakfast was decent. My only disappointment was that the bathroom was not that clean, especially the toliet.

Very nice hotel, breakfast was very nice and fulfilling. On the downside...our room had too much road noise from the interstate nearby.

We were pleasantly surprised by the grand entrance area and cleanliness of our room. We also had a large flatscreen TV and our beds were quite comfortable. Sliding glass doors lead directly to the pool and fitness center, which was very nice. Overall this was a clean comfortable upscale motel that felt more like a hotel at a motel price. Our only criticism […] is that the adjoining Irish pub is a dive. The food was bland and overpriced and I believe my fish and chips (plus coleslaw) gave me a minor case of food poisoning. "Hershey car event"
I paid in advance a month early to secure a king bed during my 5 day stay for the hershey car show . Upon check in told none available...would have to accept two queen..Called day before arrival to confirm king room...told we had one...being over 6'4 it was very uncomfortable to say the least .. was told one would become available next day...checked […] first thing in am ....once again told no....staff not very pleasant, borderline rude at times.... . also for convience after long days at show ate dinner each evening at adjoining pub...Saw dirty fork and broken nacho chips for three days straight which had never been cleaned up or swept from floor... Public male restroom in complete disarray...would NEVER stay there again nor NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.. Læs mere

"Dissapointing"
Staff was not very responsive to anything. Asked for a room not near the pool and got one with a window overlooking the indoor pool which was very loud. Asked to have the room changed and was told I couldn't (it was not even close to full.). Asked if I could upgrade my room and was told I couldnt. Room was very small. Bathroom very small. "NIce staff, poor rooms"
The staff at this hotel was very nice and helpful however the first room we were placed in had issues with the a/c. They kindly moved us across the hall but this room smelled of mold and mildew. We did not request a third as we were only spending the one night. It seems as though the hotel invested in new linen and did not do any other upgrades.

We enjoyed our family weekend at the Best Western Premier. Everybody was welcoming and friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool! The food and staff at the Tavern Pub at the hotel were very accomodating as well! Thank you and we hope to come back soon!!

The two nights spent at this hotel were wonderful. The cleanliness was quite commendable. The buffet breakfast was excellent. We got a good deal for the price.

The only thing wrong with this hotel, is the lobby/bar area is in the middle of the hotel. Our room windows looked out into the lobby/bar area. There was SO much noise from people talking and laughing, we could not sleep. This continued until around 2 am. I had to turn the tv on to drowned out the noise, so the kids could fall asleep. Other than that […] it was great, the people were very friendly, the price was good (the room service food was excellent!) It's close to Hershey park, and there is a Giants grocery store right down the street. They had other rooms I noticed facing away from the center of the hotel, maybe the noise isn't bad in those rooms? Læs mere
"Renovations make for a very uncomfortable stay"
This hotel was in complete disorder when we arrived. Upon arrival we learned that the gym was closed and we would have to go down the road to a local gym, which was very inconvenient in an ice storm. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was so cold that it was uncomfortable to swim in. The hotel is undergoing major renovations so there was debris […] all over the place and it was extremely loud in the mornings. At one point light rock was being pumped into my room for over an hour, when I called down to the front desk an unfriendly staff person told me they were checking the alarm system and it would only be a few minutes. An hour later I was still listening to REO Speedwagon. Most of the staff were friendly but unhelpful when trying to explain the renovation situation at the hotel. The restaurant was terriable and overpriced. We both ordered 2 different fish dishes and spent the rest of the night in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was a joke....stale white bagels, green bananas and boxed cereal. The one highlight were the rooms were newly renovated and comfortable with new large tv's. I feel completely ripped off that they would charge us regular price for a hotel with 1/2 the ammenities available. This policy makes me never want to stay in another Four Points Hotel again. I am not a complainer by nature but the state of this hotel was completely ridiculous. Læs mere
We must apologize profusely for the impression that our hotel left with you. It is true that we were under renovation for three months this winter. Generally we found that he contractors did a good job of keeping the renovation conditions isolated to the wing in which they were working, this was obviously not your experience. I can assure you that if you return to the hotel again, your experience will be greatly improved by the renovation. In addition to the beautiful new guest rooms that you experienced on your last experience, all of our public spaces have been refreshed as well. You'll be happy to know that at O'Reilly's Tap Room we have developed a completely new menu that will hopefully meet your expectations. The fitness center is now open and features a variety of new equipment to keep you fit during your travels. Please consider a trip to the Central in the future. Beautiful lobby and well located. The continental breakfast was very good. Large TV in room. My only complaint is that the light by the bed is controlled by the switch near the front door that also controls the entry ceiling light. That meant when you are in bed, you cannot have the bedside lamp on unless the hall light is on and you have to get up […] to turn the switch by the door off. Then in the AM, you have to go to the door to have any light. Minor but annoying. Læs mere

"Four Points in Harrisburg"
The hotel had a nice lobby and a great continental breakfast. It is certainly showing its age; however, the price was right, hotel staff were friendly. It was conveniently located and a quick 15-20 minute drive to the Hershey attractions.
We're glad that you enjoyed our lobby and the breakfast -- just an note -- we have added two complimentary hot items to our breakfast each day! Additionally we underwent an total renovation over the 2010-2011 winter and you'll find that the hotel has been entirely updated and re-designed. Give us another try!!

"Four Points in Harrisburg"
I cannot recommend this hotel at all. It is run down, dirty and in serious need of a major renovation. In addtion, when I checked into my room, the bathroom was filthy with dried urine and pubic hair on the toilet seat even though the room had supposedly been cleaned by housekeeping.
We are happy to report that since your disappointing stay we have totally renovated the hotel. We are also under new management and the staff has undergone a thorough update in their training. There is no excuse for the condition of the bathroom during your stay. I assure you if you visit again, you will be pleasantly surprised with your stay. My sincerest apologies for your less than optimal experience

Worst pillows of any hotel I've ever stayed with. Felt like insides were disintegrated. Get rid of the ridiculous huge "throw pillows" and invest in ones that will give guests a decent night's sleep. Breakfast area set up is very confusing, with free service mixed right in with paid buffet. And finally, do something when there is a group of rowdy kids […] terrorizing the other pool users! I have good news for you -- we have replaced ALL of the pillows in the hotel and upgraded our bed linens as well. No more silly "throw pillows" just ones that will give you an excellent nights sleep. This improvement was part of a comprehensive renovation that took place over the 2010.2011 winter that touched every part of the guest space from the lobby to the corridors to the guest rooms. You'll also be happy to know that we have moved the breakfast into our restaurant and now offer two free hot items with our complimentary breakfast!
