Easy to get to, especially if coming into GF on Hwy 2. Small motel showing signs of wear and tear. We've stayed here a few times and it is definitely going down hill. The breakfast is skimpy.

It needs to be changed maybe do something with the front entrance and perhaps make the continental breakfast more interesting.The rooms though they were clean enough they could use an update and maybe put in a place to put our suitcases on and a comfortable chair

the motel is quiet, staff is pleasant and helpful. suspect if location were closer to shopping center, price would also be higher. i am happy with it as is.
Close to the airport - not to shopping. Staff not knowledgeable, but tried hard to obtain information requested. Hotel didn't have crib - had to be borrowed from another hotel. Hotel is older and shabby, but reasonably clean. For the price and just an overnight stay, it worked well enough for us.

Clean, cheap hotel if you're not spending a lot of time in the room. Beds are comfy enough but the chairs in the rooms are very uncomfortable. If you're just sleeping in the rooms, the hotel is a great deal.

"Good enough for a night's sleep"
Hotel staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Continental breakfast was basic, but enough to get us on the road. Rooms were very clean, but had a slightly funny smell. Not bad, but unusual. Probably due to the age of the hotel. Rooms could have used some upgrades, you could see previous repairs, not enough plugs in the room for both lights and […] the TV. Overall though, we needed a room to sleep in on the way through, and this hotel fully served the purpose. I would stay there again if passing through. Value of room was worth what was paid. Læs mere

Its about what you would expect for the price. The building and fixtures are a little older and there was odor blocker prevalent but it was clean. The breakfast isnt that big but i didnt expect anythin great. I didnt see an elevator, but its not the only hotel in the area that doesnt have one. The front desk was friendly. "Super 8 Motel in Grand Forks, N.D."
First of all it was not specified where to turn in to get to the actual motel; the huge sign was there so we knew we had found the motel but we had to guess how to get there. As we walked in to the motel there was no air conditioning in the lobby or upstairs hall; the female on duty wasn't friendly, no smile no greeting; she failed to program our keys […] so after walking upstairs and waiting for about ten minutes for my husband to arrive I decided to walk back down, leaving all my belongings unattended while I got the key programmed. In the morning at breakfast the male attendant was also unfriendly and unhelpful until you called him and then he would disappear and we, the customers would then tell the next person what he could do, etc. Now on the positive side: great showers, very clean room, comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, good tv reception, moderately good breakfast and it was served early enough...six A.M. staff was extremely friendly and pleasant and helpful The only problem we had was that there was cigarette smoke in the hallway. My daughter is extremely allergic and had some trouble

Everything was great. Will stay here again when we come by another time. The a/c was a little loud but not loud enough to sleep. The young lady on the desk was great as well and very helpful.

If you are looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep and shower, this is a great place to stay. The room was small and it only had one hard backed desk chair, but the bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and super quiet. I would recommend staying here to anyone that is not spending alot of time in their room.

I've seen some run down super 8's but this one was well kept, clean, and quiet. The mattress was comfortable, sleep good. A decent morning breakfast. Overall for the money we got a good room.

This hotel turned out to be ok - it needs some serious renovations. The beds are comfy, there are lots of conveniences (location, parking, TV, desk, working window, microwave, fridge, etc.) for a really decent price through Hotels.ca. However, the trains that rolled through were a bit of a nuisance for my partner. The renovation issue is an overall […] thing - carpets, walls, linoleum in the bathroom, etc. Although these are clearly cleaned on a very regular basis, it just looks so outdated, which really just makes it look old, dingy and dowdy. "Hotel was fair deal for the $"
Pros - bed was very comfortable, service was great, smoking room but you'd never know it, very clean! Cons - pillows were not comfortable... air conditioner did not work - good thing it wasn't hot outside...train whistle blew at 6:00AM Sunday - made me jump out of my skin!

"Grand Forks Super 8"
Not very super. There was no luggage rack in the room, so we had to put our bags on the desk. The breakfast, while free, was very skimpy and not very satisfying for people setting out on the road. An older Super 8 and this was reflected in the overall condition of the building. Wouldn't stay at this location again.

My wife and I enjoyed staying at this hotel - simple, clean, relatively quiet, and having some decent options for breakfast in the morning. No problems here!

Very good value for the money. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff, clean room, not luxurious but what you would expect. Everything worked, bed comfortable. No restaurants close and was convenient to the airport. Would recommend.

it was clean, no bed bugs! which is awesome cuz thats the first thing i always look for. lots of tv channels to relax with. great heater in the room, just a little loud, free paper in the morning...i love super 8's all across the USA and will continue to stay for cheap prices anytime i take a trip down there

The only issue I had was a clogged bath tub drain. I called several time to get fixed but never did.

Housekeeping personal are way way to pushy, and dont listen when you tell them, and your in the room NOT to make the bed and TO LEAVE YOU STUFF ALONE AND ON THE BED, but NO did what he wanted made me so angry,

Inexpensive and easy to find, this motel was clean and quiet. They even opened up the continental breakfast early for me so I could eat before I went to the airport. Thank you!
price was fair, but i almost killed the microwave it would beep every 10 min. i finaly rembered i could unplug it. other than that it was a nice room.
Small room but cheaper then if I had booked direct with the hotel. It actually had more features then I expected for the price. Internet was working good.

Our room smelled like urine.The carpet made my feet dirty and itchy.The hotel itself was dated and rundown. Our bathroom was gross. I will never even consider staying there again.

The room was clean, easy to find and good deal for the money. Staff was great and friendly. Only problem we had, was no ironing board. Had the iron, called for a board and they said they couldn't locate one. So overall it was agood stay.

Basic hotel room and accomodations at a very reasonable price. If you are staying in Grand Forks for a brief time would recommend the hotel for the thrifty traveler.

Room was tiny, and it lacked a chair, but was clean and well lit. Complimentary breakfast consisted pretty much of packaged doughnuts on a paper plate. Third shift desk clerk was friendly and efficient. Overall, the hotel was over priced.

"About What You'd Expect"
Considering we were on a fishing trip and were only in the room to sleep, it was pretty much what I expected it to be and was just fine for our purposes. If you want your motel to be one of the nicer aspects to your trip, this is not the place to stay.

Pretty much what you would expect from a budget hotel. Room was small and simple, but clean and quiet. Hotel facilities were minimal, complementary breakfast was basic. On the plus side, room did include a small refrigerator and microwave.
