The location is not "ideal" for what I need, however the pricing and cleanliness of the hotel have been good for a one night stay.

Overall it was a great stay for the price. Beds are comfortable, breakfast is good, not much of a selection though. My bathroom floor was dirty upon check in, seems they did a bad job of sweeping if any at all, but everything else seemed fined. It is located near Oakwood plaza if you do not have a car and need to pick up some things. You can find restaurants, […] K-mart, a movie theatre and several other shops there. However, it is going to be a walk, like any other shopping plaza, things are spread out, and if its an exceptionally hot day, you may rethink going shopping early in the morning or better yet, renting a car. Both shuttle drivers were nice. The hotel is very clean and in good order. We didn't use the pool however it looked OK, small but useable. Above avg. hotel.

The hotel staff was very helpful and the room was comfortable. The hotel is a little out of the way and the short walk to the shopping center is great in the day but very dark at night. I stayed prior to leaving for a cruise and the hotel was very helpful with transportation to the cruise port. Very busy hotel

Hotel was in good shape and the staff was friendly but the room stunk of tobacco. I did not see an option for smoking or non smoking and got in late so I was too tired after treking upstairs to ask for a different room so we put up with the smell. Also read that they provided free shuttle service from the airport and to the cruise port. Well, the cruise […] port service was dicontinued this year I was told and it costs $8 a person to go to the port. This would have impacted my decision to stay here as there were other comparable hotels that offered free shuttle service to both. Morning breakfast was very good for "free" and there's plenty to see around there if you like to walk a little bit. If it weren't for the smoking room and shuttle cost, I would have given a much higher rating because the everything else was very satisfactory. Læs mere

Not what i expected for the rate with Hotels.com. Check in was a hassle room wasn't clean and had to dispute over non smoking. If this is to be expected, it's totally unexceptable.

Hotel is clean. It offers free parking while you go on a cruise. There is a shuttle service to Airports and cruise terminals ($$). The hotel staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast every day. The only bad thing that happened is my daughter and her family was put in a smoking room, and they didn't say anything when they assigned it.

A bit pricy but good stay. Was picked up at the airport for free, but had to pay $36 for 2 to go to Port Everglades. Would recommend.

We waited forever for the airport shuttle to pick us up. Finally had to call and get them to send a van. The staff person answering the phone was rude and hung up on me before answering my question. We stayed at this hotel after a cruise. We got there early and they had our room ready by 10:30 a.m. The hotel provided a free breakfast consisting of homemade waffles, cold cereals, muffins, fruit, hard boiled eggs, juices and coffee. It also provides a free shuttle to the Fort Lauderdale Airport that runs from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. The shuttle also runs […] during the day for free and took us to Fridays where we received a 15% discount off our meal through the hotel. I'm not sure if the shuttle takes folks to the Ft. Lauderdale cruise terminal as our cruise left out of Miami, but it probably does. We walked back from Fridays which took about ten minutes. There is a very nice pool and hot tub overlooking a lake. Our room was very clean and spacious. We appreciated the nice bedding, large flat screen t.v., large bathroom with granite counter tops, mini refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. We could also open the windows to take in the nice breeze off the lake. Would definately stay in this hotel again if flying in/out of Fort Lauderdale. Læs mere

Rather cramped shuttle from airport to hotel but after all it is free! You pay $8 for shuttle from hotel to cruise port.

Not a Westin but a very good alternative that is well worth the money. I usually stay at the Westins but this time I need a more centrally located hotel and I was very pleased with this very nice, clean and very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again.

Ideal location between airport and Port Everglades. Liked the fact we all got picked up at the airport on arrival in Ft. Lauderdale and also had transportation to the port the next day. It was what we expected. Basically an airport hotel. Not a value not a ripoff. Staff nice parking easy. One sup belligerent guest who yelled at her husband behind closed doors for hours. Eventually removed or fell asleep before our bedtime.

Used this as hotel before heading out early next day for home. Room was clean, would have preferred queen beds instead of doubles. Also no restaurant on site--walking distance about 10 minutes to plenty of restaurants, but would have been nice to have small coffee shop etc. or something on site without having to get out. It was a very nice, comfortable hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and it had a great breakfast in the morning. The only problem we had was that there was only one elevator for the numerous floors and it seemed like we were always waiting for it.

Very easy to get to from I95. Enjoyed there being a mall with quite a few restaurants to choose from.that was next to the hotel. We will definitley plan to stay there again on our next trip. Loved everything about the hotel.

This is a great place for the price. The only down side is that there are no restaurants close by and we had taken our car back, so had to order pizza. The rooms are clean and new and the pool and hot tub area are very nice. We would stay there again anytime.

With no car, we were very grateful for the hotel shuttle, their knowlege of restaurants nearby; so much so we went to the same one both nights, Miller's Ale House. Only bad thing was the slowest elevator EVER!!!!

We stayed there a night to get our cruise the next day and we loved it. It was easy to get to from the airport, it was clean, the staff was very friendly, the parking is secure and free, it's right next to a lot of shopping places that are walking distance, the view is excellent, the complementary breakfast was great, there is FREE wifi in every room […] and the check out was easy and fast. The hotel was great and it was very convenient to Sun Life stadium where we attended the BCS Championship game as well as the beach and other attractions. Lovely hotel, has shuttle from airport. It's walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Good place to stay before your cruise. Only negative, our room was on the 5th floor which is the smoking floor. We will stay here the next time we are in Fort Lauderdale but will be sure to have a non-smoking room.
